Every photo tells a story. But some hide the darkest truths of all.
They smiled for the camera. They lived ordinary lives. Then the world discovered what their pictures didn’t show.
From bestselling true crime author Paul T. Gregory comes Innocent Faces — a haunting collection of ten real-life stories that begin with a photograph and end in tragedy.
A perfect family portrait masking a living nightmare. A smiling mother whose love turned fatal. A viral photo of unity that hid years of abuse. A young woman’s final picture before she vanished forever.
Each case peels back the illusion of safety to reveal what was really happening just beyond the frame. Told with Gregory’s trademark cinematic detail and investigative precision, Innocent Faces captures the human stories behind the headlines — the calm before the chaos, the light before the fall.
These are not just crimes. They are reminders that evil doesn’t always hide in shadows. Sometimes, it smiles right at you.

Same old stories rehashed and redone again and again and again. There was absolutely nothing new in this book That I haven't already read so I'm really disappointed. I may check out another 1 of this author's books at some time in the future but maybe not.
This is a quick review of photos and a light dusting of a case but not much detail and depth . So good for glance over but it wont satisfy true crime readers in my opinion.
