This is book 2 in the Runaway Ranch series. It kept my attention from the beginning. Davis and Dakota had a secret relationship 6 years ago before she left for culinary school and he had returned from military service. Fast forward 6 years, Dakota is escaping domestic violence and returning to her hometown she needs help and Dakota’s dad asks Davis to help Dakota. They discover their feelings are still there.
