For more than a year, Rhodes' wish had made him unbeatable in battle that no one dared to challenge him. Things started to change when a green-eyed lass with flaming red hair walked into his great hall and spoke boldly against him. Fawn’s fiery nature stirred something in Rhodes, filling an emptiness he hadn’t realized was there, and he became determined to make her his wife.
What started out as a clash of wills, one intent on getting what he wants and the other set on resisting him, slowly grew into something that neither expected. But Clan McBrair continued to face threats, and with the unexpected help from Fawn's parents, a long-buried family secret came to light, revealing the evil endangering their clan.
The last book in Donna Fletcher’s Highland Wishes Trilogy is packed with mysteries and surprises that keep you turning the page. Fawn, like many of Donna's heroines, was a fun character to read. She's spirited and outspoken, but has a kind heart, making her easy to love. Rhodes, on the other hand, is a contradiction. A fearsome warrior respected and dreaded by all, yet softened by Fawn in ways only she can bring out. Their strong personalities collide, but they find a balance that makes their relationship work.
There were so many reveals in the final installment that everything finally clicked together, tying the trilogy into a seamless tapestry. The truth about who Rhodes was and why Fawn's mother warned her away from him was a twist I didn't expect. It was refreshing, and that felt different from what Donna usually does. The earlier books have hints of magic, but The Dominant Warrior embraces it fully without overshadowing the heart of the story.
All in all, a fun book to read. It blends romance, humor, mystery, and action that keeps you guessing and eager to turn the page. I love every moment of it.

Highland Wishes Book Three
Lord Rhodes of Clan MacBrair and his three friends had made a wish one night after a battle. They didn’t know there was a witch hidden nearby who would grant each wish. They had no idea that what they thought were good wishes could turn out to be otherwise. Rhodes had wanted to be all-powerful. Ends up that’s a rather lonely and empty wish, when no one dares to look you in the eyes or dispute anything you say. Until the day the fiery-haired woman walked into his keep to order him around.
Fawn’s gift was with animals. She lived in her cottage in the woods, caring for the animals that came to her for help. Some could move on, others were permanent because they wouldn’t heal enough to protect themselves in the wild. When she went to tell the laird of Clan MacBrair to stop hunting food they didn’t need, he told her she’d be his wife. What a proud, obnoxious man!
There are dark forces around the clan. People are suspicious of everyone. The word “witch” sends them into fear. Can the power the witch gave Rhodes with his wish be enough to overcome this unknown enemy?
This finale was excellent as always. Though I’m always sad to see the end of such a good series.

Terric End to a Terrific Series
Wow, just when you think this story could not top the previous 2 stories in this series; think again.
Fawn and Rhodes are so engaging in this last book. Rhodes the ever-dominant man for sure and
Fawn the lovely lass from the forest who is a caretaker of animals stands up to Rhodes and doesn't let him get
away with pushing her around at all.
This has been a wonderfully fun and exciting story which makes it clear you better be careful of what you wish for.
I really couldn't imagine how this story could be as exciting as the previous stories, but Oh My Goodness it did come
to knock my socks off and another Oh My Goodness the reunion at the end of all of the characters from the
previous books made this series grab my heart and made this story well worth more than the 5 stars I am allowed to give.
If you like romance, strong men and sweet ladies plus witches, warlocks, an overabundance of surprises, I highly recommend this series.

A great conclusion to this magical short story trilogy set in the winter wonderland that is the historical Scottish Highlands.
I really enjoyed Rhodes' and Fawn's story, my only complaint was that I wish it had been a full length novel, in order to give the characters a bit more time to develop, and a bit more time to fall in love. Otherwise, I quite enjoyed this book, just as I did with the previous two books in the trilogy.
Rhodes is dark and foreboding, but underneath it all, he has a marshmallow heart, especially when it comes to Fawn. But there's also something about him, something mysterious. . . and potentially evil??
You'll have to read the book to find out the truth!
Fawn, on the other hand, is just lovely and absolutely fierce! I love her attitude and her way with animals. And I think she's met her match with Rhodes.
So, take a trip into the historic, snow-covered Highlands and enjoy a bit of mystery, a bit of magic, a bit of suspense, and a whole lot of love. You won't regret it.

In this the third and final book, it's time to read Rhodes story. His wish to be free of life's problems, to have power, be undefeated in battle, and feared by all granted. A year latter all is going to plan. This until a spirited women named Fawn burst unexpectedly through his castle door. With his world now turned upside down, comedy ensues. The man who had it all, realizes there's one more thing he wants, but she's not interested.
This book is a real page turner with twist and turns and a OMG ending that you're not going to believe. As always Donna has a way of writing that pulls you into her books and makes you think your right there with the main characters. Waiting to see how it all turns out. I highly recommend this book and the entire series. You won't be disappointed.

Trilogy ending and its marvelous!
Rhodes and Fawn storyline. Rhodes a fierce warrior that from his wish has gained fear from everyone, no one dares to question or battle him until fiery spirted Fawn enters the keep and demands he stop taking from the land by hunting more than he needs! Rhodes determined she will be his wife and she is determined she will not! Its a true battle of wills and Rhodes uses Fawn weakness to get her to wed, however Fawn finds his secret weakness to keep them together and to discover how to fight the evil forces that's determined to bring down the mighty Rhodes and the love they are desperately trying to keep together!

The Dominant Warrior is the third book in a series about 3 men who make foolish wishes that were granted by a witch. This story is Rhodes and Fawn’s journey to happy ever after. This is a well written story with great characters. I loved Rhodes and Fawn from the start and enjoyed their back and forth banter. There some bad stuff going on but ultimately our couple win the day.
I totally recommend this book as well as book 1 and 2 in their series!

Book 3 of the in the series and it didn't let me down. Loved the story of Lord Rhodes and Fawn. Lord Rhodes is the 3 warrion that made a wish, he wish to be unbeatable. Fawn is a daughter of a Witch and Warlock. The story is full of intrigue, mystery and romance. You will read it from beginning to end in one sitting. There is not a single book I have read of Donna Fletcher that I haven't loved.

I really enjoyed the conclusion to this short story trilogy. I think I like this one the best. I liked that both characters were very determined about what they wanted. It was just the right touch for the last book, wrapping up the series. I love all of Donna Fletcher’s books. This one was not an exception. I received an ARC of this book. My opinions are my own. Thanks for an another great highlander story.

Enjoyable Trio from Donna Fletcher
What a good time I had reading Highland Wishes. The heroes, handsome and determined to hold on to love with the sisters, displayed virtues of a true Highlander laird. The heroines were strong and feisty. The bossy mother added a touch of humor. Donna Fletcher proves her talent once more. I won't give anything away, the descriptions of each book is enough.

Great adventure
A wonderful and beautiful story! The adventure was really interesting and exciting. The characters were awesome. I love how you wrote the animal's into the story. It was a great surprise how it ended. I love reading stories like this one. Witches and warlocks so exciting! Thanks for sharing your story!!!
