Beth Dolgner writes paranormal fiction and non-fiction. Her interest in things that go bump in the night really took off on a trip to Savannah, Georgia, so it's fitting that the Betty Boo, Ghost Hunter Series of paranormal romance novels takes place in that spooky city. Beth's young adult novels, the steampunk Manifest and the urban fantasy A Talent for Death, also have paranormal elements. Her non-fiction work includes Georgia Spirits and Specters and Everyday Voodoo.

Since Georgia is obviously on her mind, you might think Beth lives there. Well, she did, but these days she and her husband live in Berlin, Germany, with their three cats. Beth misses those mild Georgia winters and proper iced tea, but there's no reason her characters can't enjoy those things.

Beth also enjoys giving presentations on Victorian death and mourning traditions as well as Victorian Spiritualism. She has been a volunteer at an historic cemetery, a ghost tour guide and a paranormal investigator. Right now she's chronicling the best spooky spots around Europe.

Nightmare, Arizona Books 1–5: Paranormal Cozy Mystery Box Set by Beth Dolgner is a wildly entertaining and addictive collection that blends cozy mystery charm with paranormal fun. Bringing together the first five books in the series, this box set is the perfect entry point into the quirky, monster-filled town of Nightmare, Arizona, a place where murder investigations are just another part of the workday.

At the center of the story is Olivia Kendrick, a relatable and refreshingly grown-up amateur sleuth who finds herself starting over at forty-two in a former Wild West mining town. Her new job at a year-round haunted house quickly turns deadly, and Olivia is soon solving murders alongside an unforgettable cast of supernatural co-workers. Vampires, witches, ghosts, werewolves, a banshee, and even an adorable chupacabra populate this world, creating a playful yet well-developed paranormal community.

Each mystery, whether it’s a body dumped at a haunted house, a suspicious diner drowning, or a murder at the town’s fall festival, is cleverly plotted and full of twists. The tone remains cozy and humorous, balancing danger with warmth, found family, and sharp banter. Olivia’s evolving relationships, especially with her infuriatingly handsome boss Damien, add depth and continuity across the stories.

Beth Dolgner’s writing is fast-paced, witty, and consistently engaging, making this box set hard to put down. Nightmare, Arizona Books 1–5 delivers exactly what cozy mystery fans love: memorable characters, inventive crimes, and a charming setting with a supernatural twist. Perfect for readers who enjoy lighthearted mysteries with heart, humor, and just the right touch of magic.
