Impressive how high schoolers didn’t stressed the living shit out of me in a book!!! Love that
Autumn and Theo are SOOOO Magnolia and BJ coded with how they always get back together.
Liv and Luke god I love them so muchhhhh. I want to protect Liv at all costs, please get together like yesterday.
Rowan was such a cutie, I loved her character but I felt so bad for her because she always was between her friends. I’m excited to see how her new relationship can evolve

three high school bffs at boarding school in edinburgh.
we get three different narrative povs from them. one’s exploring her sexuality with one of her besties’ brother, another has a strong crush on her besties’ brother’s girlfriend (?), and the last is in a very toxic relationship.
with a couple weird time jumps, and the story being so linear, it was interesting seeing how the story develops and the characters with it.
i feel like so much happened but at the same time nothing happened, hinting that everything will get a conclusion with a second book.
it wasn’t my favorite read nor the worst one, but i’m definitely looking forward to the next book.

Es un libro que cumple lo que promete: cozy autumnal vibes, chisme tóxico de un grupo de amigas, confusión adolescente y romance. Me gustó cómo refleja las dinámicas entre ciertos personajes de manera muy realista, aunque hay algunas cosas a las que les faltó más justificación, como el enamoramiento instantáneo de Rowan o el por qué Autumn terminó con su anterior novio si al parecer todo era tan perfecto y él la entendía como nadie. Además, en momentos no me parecía que la amistad entre las tres protagonistas fuera tan sólida como parecía ser, pero supongo que es parte de la ruptura que empieza a haber entre ellas debido a los secretos que guardan. En fin, creo que la historia va bien encaminada y sí quiero leer la segunda parte.

I had such a fun time reading this one!
The tea definitely delivered toward the end, even if the beginning felt a bit slow for me (though Cons did a great job setting up the world). I just kept waiting for all the drama we were promised, and it kinda exploded all at once near the end.
Personally, I think splitting the story into two books made the pacing feel a bit off, but still… I enjoyed it a lot. Liv & Luke and Rowan & Ila had me giggling and kicking my feet! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

secrets, lies, and gossip.
a fast-paced, entertaining read set in a boarding school in scotland. of course i would enjoy reading this (chaotic) story!
i don’t know what i was expecting to feel reading this book but it wasn’t this; i can assure you.
i never thought i would begin to care so much about the characters.
i felt very deeply in my heart some situations and traits from each of the main girls, making me frustrated, sad, and desperate by the fact that their friendship keeps falling apart from keeping so many secrets from each other.
i want to read the second book right away mostly for luke and liv, and of course my babies ila and rowan.
i didn’t like the instant crush rowan got on ila as soon as she saw her but i’m not going to lie–they really grew on me, and im excited (hopefully) to see what awaits them.
i hated each of them multiple times because of how they acted and the decisions they made but they always had me feeling affection for them again at the end of the day, even after everything.
the only reason i didn’t give it more stars is because i think there are some parts of the plot that i would love if they were more developed just so i could understand the emotional depth and story of each character more. i want to get to know them—i’m really protective over them—and they already are so dear to my heart even though it’s just plenty of toxicity and they all need therapy tehehe
ps: i love the diversity

It’s a pretty good book—it’s what you’d expect: a relaxed read with some toxic teenage drama, characters that are annoying but still realistic at a certain degree, some silly problems and a thoughtful look at sexism and homophobia. Plus, we get some strong female characters that are worth celebrating.
It really captures how, at a certain age, even the silliest things can feel like they’re the biggest deal ever. Ultimately, it’s a cosy read that’s meant to be enjoyed, not a deep dive. Don’t expect it to change your life, but you’ll have a good time with it.

One word: F*CK!!
I loved the book, first time reading a book by Cons. I finished the book in a day. Slow reader so it took me like 10hrs to read it. First two chapters I tough I wasn’t going to like it, will be just another DNF, but f*ck as you keeping reading you find yourself wanting to know more and more. I wish I could put Liv in my packet and protect her from everything, I identified more with her character than any other in the book. While reading her pov it made me feel like I was back in High school and going through the same things. Autumn pissed the f*ck of me sometimes, but Theo had his issues too,kinda toxic, but who doesn’t love that in a book. Finally, I need the second book by tomorrow. I would honestly like to see some pov of Luke, that would be nice. Or just a book with the pov of Luke, Theo and Ila, but I definitely wanna know more about Luke and Olivia.
Ahora a esperar a que salga la versión en español y darme otra lloradita ❤️❤️

Maldita sea Constanza ¡¡¡¡¿cuánto vamos a tener que esperar por la segunda parte?!!!!
Definitivamente para mí fue una diferencia gigantesca de Punto de Quiebre a Glenmore tanto en el estilo de redacción como en lo fluida y mejor desarrollada que se siente la historia, aunque aún siento que hay partes que podrían ser un poco más largas o tener más cosas, ciertas situaciones del inicio del libro las sentí un poquito apresuradas.
Pero bueno, ahí va mi review:
Primero que nada me hubiera gustado que los capítulos fueran un poco más largos, a veces al cambiar de pov sentía que me dejaban cosas a medias o que podíamos tener más, pero over all me gustó bastante 💖 es una lectura bastante sencilla y rápida de leer si te gusta el chismecito como a mi 👀 la verdad es que al final si te quedas con ganas de más y se ve que el siguiente libro se viene potente, can’t waitttttt.
Liv mi personaje favorito ❤️ segundo… maldita sea Lucas, aunque fuera una fachada (porque todos sabemos que lo es y que andas pero perdidamente enamorado de Liv) por qué vergas tenías que caer en un estereotípico onvre?!!!!!
Mi chica Autumn necesita mucha terapia y soltar esa relación tóxica pero a la de yaaaaaa, mi pobre chiquito Rory todo bueno solo quiere amarla de linda manera 😭 ahora, necesito saber pero a la de ya que es lo que Autumn hizo en verano que sabe que va a ser el fin de su relación (que seria lo mejor para todos tbh)😠
Ahora entrando a Rowan no se que decir, genuinamente una roba novias pero como persona Bi I can relate to a lot of what she’s going through, so te mando un abrazo preciosa, lo vas a necesitar cuando Sam y Liv sepan que andas con Ila ❤️🩹

puessss segundo libro de mi amiga íntima consss y wow prometio chisme y dio chisme, me encantó que a pesar de ser un libro con 3 povs distintos todo hacía sentido y no se perdían las historias ya que se complementaban. en muchos momentos neta me pude ver a mi yo de 15-16 enamorada y en una relación tóxica y entendí 100% porque hacían lo que hacían they are just teenagers in love and a little bit stupid jajajaja, pero justo creo que las relaciones que uno tiene a esta edad nos ayudan demasiado a formar quienes somos en un futuro y nuestra manera de pensar. en varias ocasiones las novelas con protagonistas adolescentes me causan demasiado cringe pero cons supo cómo escribir cada personaje dándoles su propia personalidad que como dije hace sentido que sean así.
los plot twists del final had like OMG, sin duda mi personaje favorita fue liv tan solo quiero ponerla en una cajita y protegerla por siempre, rowan la tqm me encanta que sea bi y que se toquen las relaciones entre niñas!! y autumn was my least favorite pero sin duda girlie was giving CHISME☝🏻☝🏻 and honestly fuck theo man, me quedé con ganas de saber que pasó con roryyyy.

I genuinely couldn’t stop reading — it totally gave me mixed vibes of Magnolia Parks and Binding 13, and I loved it. It’s definitely not the same story, but if you liked those books, you’re probably gonna like this one too.

Every single character stressed me out at some point, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t love them. Actually, I think that’s what made them feel so real.
My favorite character was definitely Liv. Throughout the whole book, I just wanted to know what would happen with her, and I hooope it was all a misunderstanding with Lucas.
Autumn stressed me sooo much every time she got back with Theo. I believed that she loves him, but it wasn’t clear why she couldn’t just be with Rory. I really wanted her to end up with him, their connection felt deeper than just “I love you.”
And Rowan... I just wanted to hug her the entire book. She gave me so much tenderness. I do feel kind of bad for Sam though; I think she cared about him and his feelings, but not enough to actually talk about hers before doing something about them.

pues debo decir que a comparación de punto de quiebre cons mejoró mucho su redacción, podías sentir cada personalidad de las 3 en sus respectivos capítulos, además nos dio drama real (un poco ya tirando a repetitivo, exagerado y un poco aburrido, pero real) de un adolescente en esas circunstancias de edad, etapa y pues en general del lugar en el que está ambientado. Me pareció interesante ver la historia de cada una, siento que faltó más ver cómo se relacionaban entre ellas mismas más allá de los secretos que guardaban y sus repetitivas peleas con malina, se centró mucho en sus propias historias que faltó indagar más entre su amistad, la cual tengo que admitir se veía no tan sólida ni real como aparentaban. (HM a que autumn y luke me recordaron a magnolia y bj ☝🏻) disfrute especialmente la trama de Liv y Luke, también lo divertida que es rowan, en conclusión fue un buen libro pero podría mejorar en algunos aspectos, sin embargo siempre orgullosa de cons!!🫶🏻

La verdad la pase muy bien leyendolo, me agrada el chismesito pero si quise ahorcar a todos menos a Olivia y a Luke en un punto.
Algunos comentarios que tengo:
En que momento Rowan se enamoró tanto de Ila??? Siento que en un capitulo menciona wow ella es linda, y al siguiente ya esta sufriendo de amor por ella.
Siento que la amistad de Liv y Autumn no existe, como que nunca vi algun bond que me hiciera decir como “ahhh es una amistad toxicona pero pues si se aman”, el unico momento que podría pensar que tuve algo de indicio de que se quieren es cuando la defiende en clase.
Solo quiero saber que pasa con Liv y Luke 😭 que ambos guarden sus egos pero para aaaaayer y se quieran mucho.
Por qué mencionarlos todo el libro que Autumn tiene un secreto con Rory para no decirnoslos en este? 🫠

La autora prometió algo tóxico y lo cumplió. Este libro de Cons fue muy diferente al primero que leí y wow; que gran cambio. Autumn, Liv y Rowan son tres amigas que enfrentan diferentes situaciones en el colegio, que tristemente deciden mentir antes de hablarlo entre sí. Esta historia me enganchó desde los primero capítulos pero lo quise leer con gusto y ya estoy esperando el segundo libro. A veces quería meterme en el libro y darle un zape a unos cuantos personajes y en el final solo quería darle un abrazo a Liv, creo que fue mi personaje favorito pero gracias Cons porque cada personaje tenga su propio punto de vista. Sin duda este libro si lo recomendaría, pasaron demasiados cosas y fue fácil de leer.

Was it good? idk, was it bad? idk either
I think maybe it’s the fact that it’s a high school drama, and as someone who has already been there, this was tiring and boring, and i felt exasperated most of the time.
Everyone was doing bad stuff, trying to think of others but only thinking about themselves and not taking into consideration the consequences. Is that what happens at that age? Yes.
So for the… accuracy, i liked it. But it was too tiring for me, I wanted to slap everyone.
And i also hoped at least one of them would have a HEA, but ig that’s what high school romance is all about, drama.
I think maybe it’s the fact that it’s a high school drama, and as someone who has already been there, this was tiring and boring, and i felt exasperated most of the time.

Cons prometió drama y chismesito tóxico y lo cumplió jaja
Es una historia bastante entretenida, rápida y fácil de leer; me gusta que puedes diferenciar muy bien las personalidades de las tres protagonistas. En lo personal, Liv fue mi favorita y se merece todo lo mejor jaja 🥺
Autumn… se veía venir que no iba a ser mi personaje favorito jaja, y por otro lado Rowan se me hizo muy cute ✨
Al inicio sentí que empezó muy rápido porque en las primeras páginas pasaron demasiadas cosas que dije “wow wow, tranquilos con el drama” jajaja, pero tiene un buen ritmo en general.
Ojalá saque el segundo libro pronto, porque el punto donde se quedó me dejó intrigada y se ve que se viene el caos jajaja

Honestamente, no tenía muchas expectativas, pero este libro me hizo sentir muchísimo. La historia está llena de chisme del bueno y te engancha desde el primer capítulo. También me encantó que esté narrado desde la perspectiva de tres personajes distintos.
Lo único que me faltó para darle un 5/5 es que el cambio entre narradoras no se siente tan marcado en su personalidad; si no fuera por las situaciones diferentes, podrías pensar que es la misma persona hablando.
Fuera de ese detalle, recomiendo muchísimo la experiencia. Fue una lectura muy entretenida y definitivamente espero con ansias la segunda parte. 🩷

Estuvo muy bueno, sentí que en todo el libro estaba esperando for the other shoe to drop, y aunque no pasó nada más, si fue muy Magnolia Parks pero en Otoño eterno, esta muy bien escrito y las descripciones eran buenas, no excesivas.
Al inicio sentí que había empezado el libro a la mitad, por la falta de contexto en muchas partes que, espero explique en el futuro, porque se sentían partes cruciales para entender el porqué de otros personajes. Liv fue mi personaje favorito por muchoooo. Es icónica y es el momento.

I had so much fun reading this book! Once I started, I just couldn’t put it down, it’s pure drama in the best way. It made me feel so nostalgic for my teenage self, and I loved that even though there are three POVs, every single storyline felt equally strong and personal. There isn’t one I liked more than the others, which I think is pretty hard to pull off. Can’t wait to read the next one!

I found it surprising how entertaining the drama is! It really delivers on what it promises. However, it did leave me wanting a bit more, and I hope the next part gives me those answers (which I’m already excited for!). At first, it was a bit hard to get used to reading one chapter per character, since once a chapter ends you have to wait two more to continue the same storyline. But once I got past that, everything flowed really well

Es un libro que definitivamente te engancha desde el momento 1. Piensas en que pasará después y como lo van a solucionar y aun que la mayoría del tiempo estás en desacuerdo en cómo lidian con sus problemas, no falta el sentirse identificada con alguna situación que te hace conectar con los personajes aún más. Me sorprendió la escritura de Cons, y su forma de ver esta historia. 100% recomendado si quieres reír, asombrarte, e incluso sonrojarte. Espero y me urge parte 2

This book reminded me of being a high schooler and every feeling that felt like the biggest to ever exist. I connected with these girls, I believe their stories and I feel for them and their struggles. The writing is easy to follow and flows nicely from one chapter to the next, always keeping me entertained and excited. I'm looking forward to reading about how their stories move forward.

Jajaja me lo acabé en tres horas. Llegó un momento donde me pareció ridículo que ocurriera tanta mamada, pero es parte de su encanto.
