Bikers, brawls, and broken hearts…

With the rat taken care of and the new rivals seemingly disbanded, Destiny’s Enforcers Motorcycle Club is back to business as usual. But when Rooster and some of the brothers head north to handle a favor before their run, the normally quiet biker is stunned to run into his long-lost love, and to find the rivals aren’t gone.

Kristie’s been bitter for years after her summer fling, the one she thought was her forever love, abandoned her without a word. After losing her job and her research, she drags her cousin out for drinks, only to come face to face with the biker that broke her heart.

Even though Kristie has mixed emotions seeing him again, she and her cousin take off with Rooster and his club after they rescue them from a group of unruly bikers. When learning who the other bikers really are, she’s thankful for the help but struggles with what her heart wants.

When Rooster’s ordered to leave her with strangers and handle club business, he remembers why he left her to begin with but isn’t sure he can do it a second time.

Can a little forced proximity and chaos give their love a second chance, or will their differences and history keep them apart forever?

Rooster, book three and a half of Destiny's Enforcers MC Atlanta, is an angsty, spicy, and fast paced contemporary second chance novella with forced proximity, heat, heart, and high stakes with an unlikely pair but undeniable chemistry. Download today and get ready to fall for Kristie and Rooster.

Welcome to Destiny's Enforcers MC where the men are morally grey, accidental anti-heroes, committed to the club, and fall hard for the women who cross their paths and usually bring a little chaos with them.

Another solid read in the Destiny’s Enforcers MC series. I’ve read several books by April D. Berry now and her writing style continues to pull me in every time. I’ve really grown attached to the characters in this series, which makes coming back to this world easy.

In Rooster, we get a deeper look into the Destiny’s Enforcers Motorcycle Club and the loyalty and brotherhood that comes with it. Rick’s, aka Rooster, story brings in a second chance romance and I always like seeing characters with a past find their way back to each other. Watching Rooster and Kristie, aka Sparrow, navigate their past while dealing with everything that comes with being tied to an MC life added a lot of depth to their story.

April D. Berry has a way of writing characters that feel natural and relationships that you can really root for, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this series.

And if you enjoy MC romances with strong characters, loyalty, and a good second chance love story, this is definitely one to pick up. If you haven’t read her other books in this series, they also are well worth the read!

ROOSTER is instalment 3.5 in April D Berry’s contemporary, adult DESTINY’S ENFORCERS MC:ATLANTA erotic,MC romance series. This is twenty-eight year old medical researcher Kristie ‘Sparrow’ Hillard, and Rick aka Rooster’s story line. ROOSTER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary .

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers .

Told from dual first person perspectives (Kristie and Rooster) ROOSTER follows the second chance relationship between medical researcher Kristie ‘Sparrow’ Hillard, and Rick aka Rooster. Approximately eight years earlier, a summer fling ended for Kristie with a broken heart. Fast forward to present day, Kristie, now a medical researcher has lost her job, and a night on the town with her cousin Bit, ends in a rescue by the man she once loved.Rooster rarely speaks but a bike run up north brings our hero face to face with the woman he left behind, a woman now targeted by a rival MC.Hoping for a second chance,Rooster declares himself guardian and protector of the woman he still loves, a woman who is struggling with a place in his life, as Rooster and his MC brothers prepare to takedown the people targeting our story line heroine.

The world building focuses on the search for the truth. A rival MC has targeted Kristie Hillard, and Rooster is determined to find out why. With Kristie confined within the safety of the Destiny’s Enforcers MC, Rooster and the brotherhood, take aim at the people trying to destroy their lives.

The relationship between Rooster and Kristie is a rekindling romance in the wake of reconnecting after eight years and a broken heart.Kristie struggled to forgive and forget but Rooster was determined to never to hold back the woman he loved. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include the return of the previous story line couples and several members of the Destiny’s Enforcers MC:Atlanta, as well as the ranch hands and owner at Jersey Iron Ranch, and Kristie’s cousin Bit.

ROOSTER is a story of heartbreak and forgiveness, betrayal and obsession, forgiveness and love. The fast paced premise is intriguing and dramatic;the romance is edgy ; the characters are determined and charismatic.

April Berry has done it again with this latest installment in the Destiny’s Enforcers MC series. I was completely captivated by Rooster and Kristie’s second-chance romance, with the added twist of forced proximity making their story even more engaging. April excels at breathing life into her characters, making their emotions and struggles feel real and relatable.

This series just keeps getting better with each book. Watching Rooster’s heartfelt attempt to win back Kristie, nicknamed Sparrow, after his past mistake is both entertaining and moving. The journey of redemption and forgiveness was beautifully handled, adding depth to their relationship.

What stands out most about Destiny’s Enforcers MC is the strong sense of found family and loyalty that runs through every page. These themes are woven seamlessly into the story, making it more than just a romance, but a testament to the bonds we form by choice. If you’re looking for a well-written, emotionally charged MC romance with memorable characters, this series is absolutely worth the read.

Beautiful!

They say good things are worth waiting for, and Rooster and Kristie’s story was definitely worth waiting for. Love was never lost for Rooster and Kristie as they never stopped loving each other, they just lost their way. Rooster was trying to shield Kristie from the life he lived, but he never gave her the chance to see it or to experience it. When he finally found Kristie again he realized how much he loved her and couldn’t let her go again. This is their second chance love story and what a love story it is! Loved this book and loved Rooster and Kristie. We all need a little Rooster in our lives 😊. Definitely deserves 5 stars, and don’t forget the spice, it’s a 5+

Rooster: Destiny's Enforcers MC: Atlanta Chapter Book 3.5
Stars: 5
Spice: a spicy 2

This series does not disappoint! April D. Berry has hit the nail on the head, yet again. This is a semi-spicy novella with Rooster at the forefront of the story in this second chance read. Make sure you read the trigger warnings if you are sensitive to certain things.

Rooster and Kristie's story was a tad bit different than most of the Destiny Enforcer's stories. It did throw me off, but kept me engaged, regardless. Rooster is a man of few words until his one true love falls back into his life. Kristie doesn't know how she should feel - angry or totally in love with the man she never forgot. You have to read this to see what happens! It's definitely a must read!

I have been obsessed with the Destiny’s Enforcers MC world. And this one is no different.Rooster is the perfect "quiet but deadly" hero, and seeing him face-to-face with Kristie after all those years apart was so intense.
What I loved:
• The Tropes: Second chance romance + forced proximity + "who did this to you" energy.
• The Pace: It’s a novella, so it moves quickly without losing the emotional depth.
• The Heat: Definitely spicy! The chemistry was 10/10.
It was angsty, high-stakes, and had just the right amount of chaos. A perfect 5-star read! Rooster and Kristie completely stole my heart! This was exactly what I needed: a fast-paced, spicy, second-chance novella with all the MC drama.

This book hit so hard for me. I don't usually expect a short novel to give me a full on escape but this one did. I read it in a day, because I couldn't put the book down. It had everything I needed. Fast paced, second chance, a swoony MMC who is absolutely obsessed, and a strong FMC I absolutely adore. However, you need to read this entire series as there is an overarching plot to follow. It's absolutely a series that will hook you and keep you reading with amazing characters that will keep you coming back and screaming for joy when the next one is released, because I did in fact squeal when I received an ARC of this one.

Rooster is a broody brute! I freaking love it! This was just what I needed to read right now I have loved getting to know the men and women in the DEMC. Each of these stories has fun and unique characters in focus but the storyline running in the background is also pulling you in. Rooster is such a broody character that is very clear on what he wants and is going after it. The possessiveness he possesses comes across in a much sweeter way than you would expect. Love the man with his heart on his sleeve like this.

Rooster is a fantastic novella in the DEMC series. This series has been incredible and Rooster is a great addition. April gives us the story of Rooster and Sparrow. Theirs is a second chance romance. Sparrow isn't familiar with the biker lifestyle at all Will she stay or is it too much for her? Will they separate once again, this time for good? I have fallen in love with these characters and I highly recommend this series.

This was a short and sweet read with minimal angst and lots of lovely “second chance romance” moments.
I’ve enjoyed this series so far so excited for any new additions.
These two were so sweet together and I always love the dynamic between the ladies of the club.
Looking forward to hopefully seeing more of this series with so many other characters to explore.

A quick read but no shortcuts

Rooster might be a novella, but it feels like a full length story. April Berry did a great job creating a quick read with wonderful characters and all the feels of her other Destiny’s Enforcers MC books. And if you’re new to the series, you don’t want to miss Eagle or Falcon!

In the midst of club drama, Rooster and Sparrow / Kristie meet again. Is it ever a good time when MC members reconnect with the woman they cannot forget? Anyway, we get to see this unfold. I can say it is a little hot and a lot spicy!!

as always, April knocked it out of the park with this one! I enjoyed the low angst but also low drama. you feel the feels for sure and the spice doesn't overshadow the plot. I love that Rooster has found himself again with Krisite, and she has found a home/family.

Rooster and Sparrow are two birds of a feather ! The storyline is a companion piece to CD Gorri’s book Sawyer ( it doesn’t need to be read, but it does add a bit of depth to this story as some of the characters and scenes overlap ). April D. Berry gives us a look at Rooster a man who has had nothing to say for years ! On finding Sparrow/Kristie again and bringing her to the DEMC they go through hell to make it back to where they should have been all those years ago! 5✨’s for a book full of heat, heart, sisterhood and a band of brothers who would burn Georgia to the ground for their women.

The way I devoured this book…10/10 recommend! 🤩
Second chance AND MC? I’m there. These boys hold my heart but Rooster is trying to take the lead (sorry Eagle! Or was it Falcon? I love them all, okay?)
Rooster and Kristie’s second chance had me swooning and giggling, while also sitting in absolute what the heck a few times! The interactions and depth of April’s characters never ceases to amaze me and I can’t wait to see what she has for us in the next one! 💜

This series has been great so far and Rooster did not disappoint. Rooster made a mistake but seeing her again helped him to realize it and want to never let her go again. Sparrow completes Rooster. I loved this book.
