What do you think?
Ace
When duty calls, love has no jurisdiction.
Maceo “Ace” Hardin doesn’t rattle easily. A top ICE commander turned U.S. Marshal, he’s known for precision, control, and getting the job done—no matter the risk. But when a deadly investigation drags him into the tangled world of the Dacres crime family, the stakes become more personal than professional.
What’s supposed to be a routine intel mission spirals into a web of corruption stretching from Chicago’s political elite to the blood-soaked underworld of Kingston. Ace’s target—Ajani Dacres, a terrified young man caught between loyalty and survival—may hold the key to unraveling it all.
But the deeper Ace digs, the clearer it becomes that the enemy isn’t just on the streets—it’s inside the system.

Book 5 shifts the focus to one of the other men on the team, Ace, and the name fits him perfectly. Controlled, intense, and razor-sharp, his character immediately commands attention. The interrogation scenes in this installment were especially strong, packed with tension and executed flawlessly.
Adryan Hart continues to excel at balancing a large cast of characters, all deeply entangled in an increasingly dangerous situation. The stakes keep rising, the threads keep tightening, and the momentum never slows. This was a true page-turner from start to finish.
If readers haven’t figured it out by now, the U.S. Marshals series isn’t a romance series, though romantic tension exists as a subplot. The heart of this story is nonstop action, suspense, and high-risk decision-making, with danger coming from every direction.
This series is perfect for fans of procedural thrillers, law enforcement–driven suspense, and fast-paced action stories where loyalty, corruption, and survival collide.
