Really good just a few objections
Overall, the book was very good. This was my first exposure to this author, and I was really pleasantly surprised. I thought the characters were very well developed, and their chemistry was so obvious and enjoyable to read about. The things I didn’t like were the divorce terms. When a spouse is cheating and can be proven to be cheating they don’t get half the assets, especially when they didn’t contribute to the marriage. So it disappointed me that Asher was such a pushover in his marriage, considering he had the money and the proof that she cheated that was just a poor plot hole to me. Also, I didn’t like how much the FMC was a doormat when it came to her dad. I’ve had bad family members and when they were bad, I cut them out. That’s what you should do. Blood does not give someone permission to abuse you. The only other objection I have it’s a year later when he proposes. That really makes absolutely no sense. They basically blew up their lives to be together and it took him a year to propose? Maybe four or five months but a year really doesn’t make sense plus she’s already in her 30s. Do you really wanna push having babies that much later? But again a really good story and I will read this author again.

I had a good time with James and Asher. Their banter was great. The push and pull was perfect for them. It was forbidden and steamy and fun.
Sadie and Remi were great friends to James. Nathan, you're despicable. As is James's father.
I did feel that the ending was a little rushed, but all in all, it was a great read.

I won this book from a Goodreads giveaway! And I’m so happy I did this book was so good. From the chemistry between the characters the office drama and little bit of spice it was a great read!

Fun
Liked this story, lots of subplots with good twists. Kept me interested and good romance. Will have to find more tales from this author to read.
