Eva Ashwood has been a reader her whole life and a writer for several years. She loves telling stories of alpha males and the fierce women who bring them to their knees.
She's a sucker for reverse harem, bully romance, enemies to lovers, heroes who redeem themselves, and all the drama and passion of new adult love.
3.5⭐️ This was an enjoyable read. But I'd be lying if I said that I'm not at least a tiny bit disappointed. I genuinely thought this was going to be a 5 star read but unfortunately, it wasn't. First of all, the whole difference in experience thing annoyed me. Going in, I expected the guys to be experienced since they own a BDSM/sex club, obviously. I just didn't expect them to have done EVERYTHING to the point that whatever they did with the heroine didn't feel very special imo😪
For example, they've all shared women/subs before. Okay fine, I can let that go. But they also proceeded to fuck Lana at the very club (not their own) where one of them admitted that this wasn't their first time "playing" at that club. I really thought that them fucking Lana tg at another club would at least be a first but no😭 Whereas, Lana was new to everything that they were doing. Anal, sharing, fucking at a club...you name it.
Also, she was used to faking it with the "handful" of men she'd been with before the guys. Would it have hurt if she would have had great sex with other men/had been in love before? Idk but this and the constant mentions of them playing/doing scenes with other subs just rubbed me the wrong way. I'm really not interested in knowing about the MMCs' past when the romance is with the FMC. Add to that the pining and her having a huge crush on them for years + them not pursuing anything with her because she was their best friend's little sister just ticked me off even more. But that's just me ig😅🤷🏻♀️
I can't believe *I'm* saying this but the smut got repetitive after a point. There's only so much " you can take it" and "submit to us" I can take lol. Also, I've read scenes with 2 dicks in a vagina...but THREE??? AT THE SAME TIME?!?!? I feel sorry for Lana😭 That was an extremely painful scene for me to read that made me shudder and actually wonder if that was possible. And it was NOT hot❌️ I also felt like the emotional buildup was lacking. As much as I love smutty scenes, I need to see some emotional development/growth in the relationship. And I didn't see that here🥲 It felt like it went from "let's fuck" to "I love you, it's always been you" suddenly. Also Ryder's somnophilia kink felt misplaced to me. Idky but I always associate somnophilia with dark romance lol so ig that's why it felt weird.
I will say thought that I enjoyed the last 10%. I was really happy to see Lana stand up to her family and become closer with her siblings. Beckett, Tristan and Ryder being protective about her was cute too. I just wish we'd gotten to know more about all of the guys' past instead of it being glossed over or briefly mentioned without any proper details. Also jealousy scenes. PLEASE. I absolutely LOVE it when the MMCs get jealous and ultra possessive in a RH romance🫠 Again, that was another thing that I found to be underwhelming in this book😔 Regardless, it was still a fun - I wouldn't say quick because it's pretty long haha - and spicy palate cleanser.
safety squad: - no OW/OM drama (h's ex fiancé tries to win her back after dumping her but she doesn't entertain him. no actual drama tho) - reverse harem - no cheating - spicy holiday romance - experienced MMCs (they own a sex club and are known to play there/do scenes with subs since they are doms. it was mentioned in the beginning that one of the H's had a partner/sub but he broke it off with her because she was starting to want more. none of the mmcs have been in a relationship. no info on how long they were celibate. h was engaged to OM before he dumped her and it's been 3 months since the breakup) - mentions of chronic illness (lupus), car accident, death of a parent, parental neglect and estrangement, cheating (not between MCs), etc - HEA (engagement)
I expected some nice, fun, holiday smut when I went into this. And then I remembered that this was Eva Ashwood. I definitely got the fun holiday smut, but I also got emotion and beautiful character growth.
Lana was a beautiful character that I enjoyed watching come into herself and gain confidence. She was such a bright light, full of warmth and holiday cheer. I loved her love of Christmas, and I genuinely lost count of how many times I just smiled because of her. Ryder, Tristan, and Beckett were just perfect. The way they cared for Lana, protected her, and how obsessed they were over her had me giddy.
And of course the spice was spicing… this is Eva Ashwood. I’ve read quite a few books with BDSM, so I was truly blown away by the care she put into it. It wasn’t there just to make the story kinky. The ‘scenes’ were quite something.
Beyond the smut, this was a story of acceptance, family, love, self-confidence, finding yourself, and the holiday spirit. I will definitely have to read this again in December!!
I received an advanced copy and this is my voluntary review
This holiday why-choose romance was a spicy, heartwarming and empowering ROAD TRIP of self-discovery!
Lana is fresh out of a broken engagement, tired of feeling “not enough,” and ready to finally embrace her authentic self, including her long-suppressed kinky side. Enter her brother’s three best friends: Tristan, Ryder and Beckett: protective, secretly smitten Doms who volunteer to drive her cross-country for the holidays. One snowstorm and a whole lot of honesty later… well, let’s just say plans change.
Three Doms, one fiercely curious Lana, what follows is a delicious exploration of trust, desire and so much consensual adventure. The spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️ creative, bold and seriously well-written. (One scene in particular had me like: “MA’AM, THREE 🍆 HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!”) But beyond the steam, there’s real heart here. Lana’s journey toward self-acceptance, especially as a plus-size woman reclaiming her pleasure, is empowering and beautifully handled.
The holiday backdrop adds a cozy, festive warmth, though I’ll admit I was so invested in the characters’ emotional and physical connections that I could’ve done with a little less tinsel and a little more tension. Still, the Christmas spirit never overwhelms the core story, it just sweetens the deal.

I absolutely loved it!!! I love pretty much every book Eva Ashwood writes and this was another example of that. It was full of all the things I want in a book! There was humor, lots steamy goodness, drama, and so many emotions.
Lana was such a loveable FMC. She was relatable and made me want to smile. It was so good to see her growth and confidence throughout the story. The men...oh, they made me swoon. Beckett, Tristan, and Ryder i loved them too. They were the perfect book boyfriends!

The premise is that Lana, having broken up with her ex, wants to explore her true self and her sexuality so she attempts a night at a link\sex club owned by her brother's 3 best friends (who she has major crushes on). They don't let her Perdue this avenue and when she has a long road trip home for the holidays, they all drive with her spending the week on the road\in hotels.
Somewhere along the way the guys offer to help Lana explore her Kinky side and she finds out what these 3 men all like too... Including sharing her.
Well you can imagine how that all goes along with the promise to not catch feelings. There are a lot of heart warming festive moments that endear you to the men and Lana herself is a very sweet FMC. This book has a lot of spice but there is a plot and story to it too making it more than just a smut book.
Well, that was fun 😏 IN A NUTSHELL: Lana has been obsessed with her older brother’s 3 best friends forever, and they all end up on a cross-country road trip to go home for the holidays. Oh and the guys all own a sex club together, so you already know they’re kinky af. Eva Ashwood killed it with this one. (Also surprisingly wholesome and gave me lots of feels) 🥲
•RH •multiple POV •brother’s best friends •curvy FMC •one bed 🥵 •HEA
4⭐️ 5🌶️ (any book where the fmc takes 3 🍆 in one hole automatically gets a 5🌶️ rating from me) 🤣
Dnf’d @ 70%. I was into the book the first half or so, but it ended up dragging and I got really bored. I realize at that point I didn’t feel any connection to the MCs. A Christmas book does not need to be 500 pages, and I think this would have been better as a novella. I’m sad I didn’t like it because I loved Filthy Wicked Psychos.
THE WHAT: Lana is trying to rediscover herself after ending her engagement to Wade. A visit to Eclipse, the sex club owned by her brother’s best friends, pulls her straight into the world of her long-time crushes Beckett, Ryder, and Tristan. A Christmas road trip turns into a journey of chemistry, exploration, and unexpected connection.
THE VIBE: Why choose, brother’s best friends, multiple love interests, road trip, holiday romance, exploration of desires, temporary engagement, self-discovery, off limits romance.
THE HOW: The story unfolds over a cross-country road trip, where the MMC’s deepen their connection with the FMC. Shared hotel rooms, intimate conversations, and kink exploration all play a role in Lana’s journey of self-discovery.
THE HIT: The author does a great job at developing the relationships between Lana and each of the three men, capturing how their distinct personalities and desires interact with hers. I loved watching Lana discover who she truly is, breaking free from the perfectionism she’s spent her whole life chasing, and finally embracing her own desires and identity.
THE MISS: The title doesn’t strongly connect to the core story, and it feels a bit disconnected from the plot. The book also feels longer than it needs to be, with sections that could have been trimmed to keep the pacing tighter and the momentum stronger. Also, no spoiler but the scene with the three (if you know, you know), too much, I will just leave that there.
THE REC: A great pick for readers who love why-choose dynamics, brother’s-best-friends tension, road-trip romance, and a whole lot of spice.
THE OVERALL: I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to my followers.
I was so excited to see Eva come out with a Christmas book this year!
This book has banter, turmoil, hot hot scenes, and exploration of one's self.
I love the characters and their banter. Their protective nature of Lana is both hot and heartwarming. Some of the spicy scenes were a little repetitive towards the end (besides that Christmas Eve scene) but I loved it. My only dislike was how much Lana put herself down. That is also one of the things I liked most about this book, is watching her grow in self-esteem and confidence!
If you want a super hott and fun book for the holiday season, I recommend this book!
Since I’m stuck in a smut rut, this was extra spicy and actually a pretty decent read. Three 🍆 at once is wild though. 😂 My brain’s still having a hard time mathing that one.
ten out of tennnn eva ashwood literally can't write a bad book! I loved this sm. I usually force myself to wait until after Halloween to start my holiday reading but when I got the email with the arc for this I obviously had to break that self-imposed rule - AND IM SO GLAD I DID. I love Lana & all of her men. I was hooked from start to finish and couldn't put it down! if you're looking for a spicy holiday road-trip w brother's best friends, forced proximity, lots of fun banter & learning kinks together - you don't want to miss this one!
Filthy Rich Santas was indeed filthy and kinky. Lana breaks up with her boyfriend and finds herself in bed with her brother’s three best friends. Lana wants to explore her sexuality and these hot men are more than willing to show her just how good they can be together. 90% smut, 10% plot. But I’m not complaining!!
The spice was definitely spicing. However, I got kind of bored come the end. And I’m still confused on that “kink” word. I still have no idea if I’m just dumb or what so if someone had any insight that have read this book please let me know it’s killing me.
Anyway the reason I gave it 3⭐️ is like I said it got boring. I think it could’ve been a tad shorter. Or drawn out over more time instead of like a week. The character development was great though. But another thought would be how come Beckett got most of the spotlight when he actually joined? Is it because he’s a dom or what. I feel like there definitely could’ve been more on Tristian and Ryder especially Ryder I don’t think he got all that he deserved. He deserved more of a spotlight than he got. Don’t get me wrong Beckett is allllll kinds of hot, but I just felt like his character completely overshadowed the other two
Read this for my romance/erotic literature course. I’ve learned that I’m not really into contemporary romance. Even imagining the characters as members of one direction didn’t help which is crazy.
“Sometimes, family is more than blood. It’s the people who choose you. Who put you first. Who prove that they care.”
5✨
OMG OMG OMG! I freaking loved this book. Like, every single chapter had me grinning from ear to ear! Seriously, it’s got everything: a road trip, getting snowed in, some k!nk (yes, please), and THREE swoon-worthy men. But what really stole my heart? The heroine’s journey. Her growth and strength was chef’s kiss - watching her truly find herself was so beautiful🥹
And don’t even get me started on the character dynamics. That emotional progression? The slow unraveling of walls? The way these characters started off all closed off and muddy and then slowly opened up to each other? Chef’s kiss part two. It’s the kind of story that just gets me🤌🏼
Oh, and let’s talk about that car scene at 60%… Let’s just say I was fanning myself AND giggling like a little menace (hehe get it?)😈👀
I also would like to be Grandma Meg when I grow up😌🤣
ehhhhhhh......this book was at least 200 pages too long. It became super redundant less than halfway through; it would have made a better novella. This book is as if a porn production company decided to make a Hallmark movie, and used AI to mix that together with a 1D fanfic written by a middle schooler on tumblr circa 2013. You remember the ones where the girl would come downstairs one morning to find that her parents had sold her to Harry Styles and is band mates to have their way with her? Yeah, same feeling. The character development was decent in some aspects, but the plot itself left much to be desired.
While I laughed through most of it due to how ridiculous some of the spicy scenes were, I wouldn't say I particularly enjoyed it. If I didn't know beforehand, I would have sworn this was written by a man who had never touched a woman in real life. I thought it would be a fun & spicy holiday read for my book club, but most of us had to force our way through it.
I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did, at some points, I just couldn't put it down.
This is the first book I've read by Eva Ashwood, and it certainly won't be the last - I need to dive into her other series as soon as I can!
I loved the characters, and even though it was super spicy, there was still a good amount of plot that kept me interested throughout.
I always love a good road trip in a book, and this one was no exception. As I'm not from the US, I wanted a bit more context at times as to where they were in the country, but that's just a minor detail.
Overall it was a great Christmas read that I'm glad I read!
I loved this book. It is so much more than what you might think from the title. Was it filthy? Yes. Did it also make me cry happy tears? Yes. The plot was so well-crafted, and the author made you care so much about these characters. 10/10.
What a deliciously explicit Christmas themed reverse harem smut novel! I loved it! Lana is trying to rediscover herself after being dumped for being "too chubby" and after a diagnosis of lupus, and does so in the form of applying to be part of a kink club. But she knows all three of the owners (Beckett, Tristan & Ryder), and wants them all. But sadly, the guys in question really only see her as their best friends little sister. In a weird turn of events, they end up traveling together cross country to make it home for Christmas. The ensuing trek includes all sorts of discoveries about the others, LOTS of kink exploration, and opening up emotionally. I mean, the guys own a kink club, they definitely have to know what they're doing. Get ready for equal parts plot (Lana's family really sucks) and smut, with some next level spicy scenes where all of the guys kinks are explored in great detail. There are a ton of group scenes (MMMF) and solo MF scenes as well. AND ... Eek! It's got the one-bed trope in it, but it's 3 guys and 1 girl who all need the bed, which really just ups the ante for the trope!! This is definitely a book worth reading IF you're into extra spicy smut and reverse harems - if not, maybe go back to that list of holiday reads and try again.
I know that the author had to make up some reason as to why the guys "needed" to drive with Lana cross country, but for Tristan to just randomly show up at her job and insinuate that they're tracking her and to overhear the exact right portion of her conversation on the phone to know her plans seems like quite the stretch. And the guys are delusional thinking that they're only going with her to "protect" her. And they must not take that too seriously, because the first night at the hotel, they leave her to her own devices and tell her to get dinner alone. She does just that and then they get possessive when she's having fun with new people and getting drunk. Admitting that you have feelings for her, and not hiding behind the excuse that you're attentive to her because she's your friends sister, would save so much damn time. Because it takes these boneheads like 80% of the book before they finally admit that just because Lana is Caleb's sister, doesn't mean that they can't have her. And then they decide to out their relationship in front of like 75 people, which is kind of a dick move.
There is a lot of discussion about having different kinks in this book, and I'm all for kink. However, claiming that everything that isn't missionary or a standard kind of sex activity, is "kink" seemed like overkill. Sometimes, it's just exploring things that you like with willing and consensual parties. We don't have to call every little thing a kink. That being said, there is a lot of different kinks addressed in this book! Somnophilia (make sure you read the bonus scene by signing up for the newsletter!), voyeurism, exhibitionism, dom/sub relationship, Shibari, and free use. There's likely more than that, but that was the list that I remembered off the top of my head.
The smut really do be smutting it up in this book, and I'm here for it. It's walks that perfect line of frequent sex scenes and almost being too much. Spice for the sake of shoving spice in there just won't do. This author found the perfect balance! There are a ton of explicit scenes, but it felt appropriate to be there, and not just forcing something to happen for more sex to be a part of the book. It does help that the FMC is wanting to explore her kinkier side and that's kind of the whole point of the book, but the author still went into enough detail that the plot was also interesting to read and was pretty well developed. But the smut is next level and I would give it a solid 5/5! Even if you don't give a crap about the storyline, it's worth reading this one to get to that spice. And this author does something that not everyone does - she makes sure to include ANAL prep!!! (If you've read my reviews before, you'll know that's a point of contention for me in many books) Seriously, I'm not sure what you've done in your life to be so kinkily knowledgeable, but kudos Eva Ashwood.
3.25 stars✨ Sheesh this was HOT and pretty sweet at times. I really enjoyed her building relationships with all three of them. Once again, it’s a shame no swords crossed. Oh well. I thought I was going to be irritated with their commitment issues but there was no third act drama shit. Except there was a Christmas party that blew the hell up. It felt like wattpad levels of cringe and drama. And then the cheesy cringe took off from there. Tbh the entire end of this book knocked off a star bc it was just so cheesy and cringey to me lmao
3.5 rounded up to a 4. This book was just a little too long in my opinion. Eva does reign supreme in writing RH and dirty talk so thank you, queen. But I found myself getting annoyed with the constant insecure monologues from the FMC and didn't think the lupus diagnosis really added much to the story other than more pages of the MMCs worrying over and taking care of her (which I know is the real fantasy here but I was just here for the holiday smut)
