Her off-limits Grumpy Protector: Opposites Attract Off-Limits Alpha Male

Rate this book
I swore I’d protect her. Not fall for her.

Genevieve Blake is supposed to be my client.
The sunshine heiress with a price on her head and a trust fund more dangerous than gold.

I kept her breathing when her sister’s fiancé turned predator.
The one who took the hit when my own blood betrayed me.
Now she’s sleeping in my safe house, one bed between us.

And I’m the only thing standing between her and the faceless men pulling strings in the dark.

I tell myself to walk away.
That she deserves comfort, not a man built from scars.
But when she kisses me like I’m not her bodyguard—like I’m her vow—
I know I’m already gone.

We’ve survived stalkers, betrayal, and shadows we can’t name.
But the real enemy hasn’t shown their face yet.

And if I can’t stop the people hunting her...

She won’t just lose the trust.
She’ll lose her life.
And I’ll lose the only woman I’ve ever loved.

This book took me a while to get into it but it was okay. The banter between the characters while fighting threats was good. It was a page turning book but I highly recommend starting at the beginning so you can follow along. I can't wait for book 3.
