With four of the five Catastrophes taken care of by Dokja and other cooperating factions, it seems the city has finally earned a moment of respite. However, the omniscient reader knows the last and the most powerful Catastrophe is awakening somewhere in Seoul. The good news is that Dokja knows exactly what needs to be done to easily overcome this threat! But in order to do so, he has to commit a horrendous act he will regret forever…
My favourite character-but-not-quite — The Forth Wall is explored here. And that's only one reason I'd give it a thousand stars. Overall we start learning more and more. That's amazing.

If I could give this one 10 stars, I would. The chapters that are reflected here are amazing, the artwork is stunning, the story is perfect. Like I have ZERO complaints and wishes. Everything is as it should be.
Love the cover. If these ever get a digi copy, I'm probably going to get them all again. Easier to binge. This one was more of a childrearing volume and contending with Olympus. Need more Dokja and sunfish. Looking forward to the next one.

i've completely lost track of where i'm at volume-wise but i'm definitely having a great time. i do wish the OG crew was together more and so much of their development wasn't happening off-page
GENUINE PEAK. FROM DOKJA TRICKING THAT HIGHER UP DOKKAEBI BITCH WHO MADE BIHYUNG CRY AND DESTROYED HIS CHANNEL TO HIM FINALLY WEARING HIS ICONIC OUTFIT IVE SEEN EVERYWHERE TO HIM TALKING TO A CONSTELLATION TO SANGHAHS SPONSOR BEING AN OLYMPUS GOD ARIADNE NONETHELESS, TO THAT LORE ABOUT SINGULARITIES TO THERE BEING SOME KIND OF PROPHECY TO DOKJA MEETING THE CENTRAL AND WORST DISASTER…..A CHILD TO HAN SOOYOUNG LEAVING😭😭 MAN I CANT WITH THIS MANWHA
I can't emphasize how smart this story is. It's an overarching metaphor for what it is to be a reader. The power of the reader that protects the protagonist (the fourth wall) separates him from fiction, but at this point also separates him from reality. This play on his name "dok" as a reader and "dok" as alone is mindblowing. In a way he is the most experienced as he had lived the lives of all the characters, but also is separate from everyone because he remains as the fourth wall... I cant even explain how profound this story is lol
I started the webnovel without big expectations and being rather sure I’d… drop it rather sooner than later – post-apocalyptic world with game-like mechanism and being rather scary and gloomy? No, thank you! – I’d say and I would be so, so wrong. I’d love to thank my friend Haze thousands of times for recommending this title for me.
I love and hate how relatable Dokja is. I’m intrigued by so many characters – Yoo Sangah is a mystery to me, Yoo Yoonghyuk is charming in a way, Dokja’s mother also seem to be more complex than there was to her at first glance. The stories within stories is interesting but challenging concept and so far it’s executed well.
I also slowly progress through webnovel, and I am so glad I started with webtoon first. I feel I would be so lost without having a general idea what’s going on. That way, I am expanding the knowledge about a story I already like - and I am having a lot of fun exploring it.
The manhwa adaptation serve justice for the original book (the novel). It has a nice art style and the illustrator did a good job at visualize the appocolypse theme and that star stream thing -- makes me understand easier on things that kinda complicated to imagine from the original novel. and on capturing that emotion that was shown on the novel, too.
For a person that reading mood's effected much bc the art style, this one is just sooo good, and the way each character drawn goes along well with their vibes and description from the original novel.
Even tho I prefer to read the novel more, bc of the things that being skipped (its not much. Most of it are included in the adaptation), but this manhwa is a nice add on the experience.
There's some channel poaching. A more powerful dokkaebi wants Kim Dokja on his channel and resorts to underhanded methods against Bihyeong. That is solved in a very satisfying manner.
Contains a story, Singularity. A month has passed since the apocalypse began, which doesn't seem like long, considering how much has already happened. Kim Dokja faces Sangah's constellations to learn what singularities are. And he ends up adding another child to his group, Shin Yuseung, who comes with her own burdens. He is headed to the last catastrophe. But it's nothing like you would expect. It's four days to the fifth scenario.
Estoy sacadísima de onda, yo pensando que ya terminé la historia y resulta que todavía sigue en emisión jajaja lo bueno es que tampoco quería que acabara tan pronto. Todo se ha vuelto muy loco, salió un dios del cielo...
Bueno, mientras Dokja y Junghyeok estén vivitos y coleando no tengo problema. 🤭
4,5 its a stalemate for me right now towards this series because i do not necessarily like when the dokkabi get omega screentime and it isn't the most interesting plot line for me with ORV. i will pick this series back up when final novel drops probably
Great world building, complex characters. So easy to relate to Kim Dokja, the child who used to escape reality through reading. Can't wait to read the novel, as well.
