Hirano and Kagiura are adorable and I love Niibashi. I just don't feel as strong about their series as I do about Sasaki and Miyano's. I still enjoy the books though and I want to see their relationship progress.

Remains one of my all time favorite BL series! So far, an incredibly age appropriate romance between a sempai and the kohai that's in love with him. Kagiura is so devoted to Hirano and just the moments where he gets to lean on Hirano or hold his hand for 10 seconds is everything to him. It's just so sweet to read!

We get some developments here as Hirano unpacks how he feels about Kagiura and whether it's romantic. Kagiura deals with jealousy over Hirano's relationships with their other classmates, especially Sasaki. The appearances of the other characters here (aside from Sasaki and Miyano who's series I stopped reading around vol 6 I think(?)) blend together a bit for me, but I like Ichinose.

I enjoy this series so much because the tension in Kagiura's confession scenes is so well conveyed. I could read a million volumes about these two.

These boys like each other, there's no way around it. Though, their levels of intensity could not be further apart. 平野と鍵浦 5 shows the struggle of not drowning someone in love who's not ready to accept much, even if one of the two is overflowing but the restrained drip, drip, drip is taking effect by looks of it.

Este volumen ha estado al nivel del resto. Aunque cada capítulo es mejor que el anterior y realmente es una historia que, poco a poco, deja ver el colapso mental de Hirano y la paciencia de Kagiura. Creo que los sentimientos de cada personaje están muy bien representados en cada escena (tanto con el arte del manga, como con la historia). La verdad es que, ahora que voy al día con el manga, es un poco más lento y quizá eso afecta a la experiencia de lectura ya que entre capitulo y capítulo pasa un tiempo y no me acuerdo muy bien de todos los detalles. Pero aún así, la historia mantiene su esencia y no puedo esperar el día en el que Hirano SE DE CUENTA!!!

En cuanto a cositas que pasan en el capítulo... Ver como Hirano empieza a preocuparse por querer tener esos 10 segundos de contacto físico con Kagiura... Bro...
Además que, en este volúmen justamente Hirano le pregunta que desde cuando tiene esos sentimientos por él, y ahora que lo pienso sería muy interesante ver cómo exactamente Kagiura empezó a tener sentimientos por su roommate.
Y EL EPISODIO 23............ Creo que nunca he chillado tanto con un manga en mi vida. Me encanta cuando Kagiura hace /ESE/ tipo de cosas.
Y bueno, ya para concluir, quería decir que me encantan los dibujos de Kagiura con el flequillo para el lado, me encanta ese estilo de pelo en él, no sé.

Quel plaisir de retrouver Hirano et Kagiura dans ce nouveau tome ! Leur relation évolue petit à petit, et je les trouve tellement adorables, purée !
Hirano est toujours aussi confus par rapport à ce qu'il ressent pour son colocataire, mais je trouve que les choses avancent dans le bon sens. Kagiura est patient. Il ne le force pas à faire ce qu'il ne veut pas faire, même s'il crève d'envie de l'embrasser. Hirano a envie de savoir si leur relation peut aboutir à quelque chose, et je trouve ça chouette de sa part. Les sentiments sont là, et ils se développent. Reste à savoir quand Hirano finira par s'en apercevoir, même si je pense que c'est pour bientôt.
J'ai hâte d'avoir la suite entre mes mains.

Sadly, I think this is the end of the line for me with this series. I love all the characters except Kagiura. I just can't stand him. He's not a terrible person, but when it comes to Hirano he's so selfish and entitled. He only cares about getting what he wants. His behaviour isn't respectful at all. And if it weren't for Niibashi setting him straight about his behaviour, which he semi-listens to, I probably would have quit reading a while ago. I've been sticking it out hoping he does better, but nothing's changed, so I'll sadly be letting this one drop. It's too bad, because I really love the other characters a lot and I enjoy seeing them.

Hirano and Kagiura is the epitome of ‘I wore him down until he couldn’t live without me’. Hirano doesn’t even realize he’s falling until he starts making up new rules for their 10 second experiment, and, fair, if Kagi gets 10 seconds of touching, why can’t he?

I wish there was a timeline though. This volume obviously takes place well before the most recent volume of Sasaki and Miyano because Sasaki and Hirano haven’t graduated yet, but when exactly? Inquiring minds want to know.

I feel like Hirano's denial makes me uncomfortable in a way. If he wants to be with Kagiura, I want that for him but because he keeps telling us that it's not how he feels I don't like it. I like to take people at face value, especially in cute and fluffy romance.

The art is beautiful as always, I love Kagiura for taking it at Hirano's pace and not pushing him more that he is ready. I want Hirano to stop denying how he feels even if he isn't ready for more otherwise.

Ich mag die beiden immer mehr und auch Hiranos Gefühle kommen immer mehr zum Vorschein. Finde es auch gut, dass man auch mal jemanden als Protagonisten sieht, der mit Liebe nicht so viel am Hut hat, es aber trotzdem für Kagi versuchen will. Liebe dieses Universum einfach und kann es jedem nur empfehlen!

Just another fantastic entry in this series. This manga is so fantastic and so good at drawing such a beautiful scenes and her line work is just incredible and her characters are just so lovable. This particular volume is about Hirano trying to really seriously consider his feelings and Kagiuras quesion about whether or not they can actually be boyfriends. So so good as always.

hi. i fucking LOVE this chapter.
i was actually kind of worried for what would happen next after chapter 30 but harasuno never disappoints me. we got so much healthy communication with the establishment of boundaries, hirano's confession, discussion about how their feelings align but differ, a pretty realistic and natural reaction from hirano to kagiura's kiss, kagi blaming himself for the kiss, hirano blaming himself for pushing kagi, "(h) it's complicated" "(h) i want to be with you" "(k) just for a moment i wanted to kiss you", hirano asking for 10 seconds to hug kagi "(k) you're initiating it" "(h) shaddup" UGH. lowkey i'm not even mad that hanzawa interrupted them, because i feel like it made the two like, quickly get down to talk about the important stuff because they only have 5 mins before hanzawa interrupts them again so u know they have to talk about this right now, ok nvm actually they prob would have properly talked about it LOL, my fav manga couple
there aren't many things that can make me actually leap in joy and kick my feet and giggle and tear up all at the same time but this... this made me do that, LMAO
still really stoked for chapter 32, but not in a stressed way anymore :3

ok, so i think we are all stressed after that last panel HAHAHA
i don't really blame kagi tbh because man this is kind of a tricky situation,, so many emotions are running high, although also we can't be certain what exactly happened in the last panel which is why i am so anticipating the next chapter ahhhhsjsjsshshjshjshjshj, but regardless, i trust the communication between kagi and hirano. even if kagi's actions might make hirano more confused (since i personally don't think hirano would like it? but then again he might? or maybe he like it if he's the one initiating? or after some time had passed? who knows, everyone's different) i trust in their trust with each other. but fr this is one tricky situation and man i can only make a full judgement after the next chapter drops. i am so... agagshhsg

also help i love the use of the venn diagram hirano draws to show the overlap in how hirano and kagi love each other, since as a student i cannot help but think about stuff i learnt in school outside of school (much to my chagrin), and school shit always pop up in convos between me and my friends and i don't really see that as much in stories set in a school setting so it was just funny to see the venn diagram (it's not funny anymore when i'm the one solving venn diagram questions involving set notations and probability though 💀)

but anyway, i heard that the author was really excited to draw chapter 31 so how can i not be excited too. pls send help

current chapter count: chapter 29 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (will be delving into spoilers!)

hirano, as a character, is very dear to my heart because his exploration of his feelings and how he perceives romantic stuffs helped me to confirm that i am indeed somewhere on the ace spectrum and that there's nothing wrong or weird about that i still really want to date !!! (probably demisexual, but heavy on the probably because labels aren't that important to me personally)

now, obviously hirano and I are completely different people. And, everyone is different. everyone has slightly different meanings of what 'love' means to them, for platonic and romantic love. everyone has different comfort levels with physical touch, and sometimes it boils down to very specific things or scenarios where they're alright with something and not alright with it in another time. (( referring to the scene where hirano doesn't like when kagi puts his hand on hirano's waist to pull him closer, and kagi realises his discomfort and pulls away. but then hirano was like " ok, so i'm not that keen on that. but i think i'm fine if I'M the one hugging him" ,, and then he hugs him aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ,, there's lots of discussions online about why that is, but personally, i see it as hirano being someone who likes to be the one to initiate physical touch, which i relate to a lot

the way hirano's character is fleshed out and handled feels so careful and so genuine. i love how the way different people feel love and how it is expressed is shown so poignantly here. kagi may want to do more of the physical and sexual stuff with hirano, while hirano may not think of those things, but the ending of chapter 29 where hirano finds out that HIS version of what love is is the same as what kagi thinks love is ( "you're the person that i care for and want to be with the most" yeah catch me CRYING ) shows that despite their differences towards, like, physical attraction, ultimately what pulls them together and why they love each other is very similar

i can FEEL chapter 30 being a pivotal part of their relationship, and even if a confession or even becoming a couple isn't what their ending culminates in, i can still see the two being extremely close. i am so stoked
