Would you trade your soul for revenge?

Julian Morris was never meant to survive that night.

Beaten and left to drown by the six classmates who tormented him for years, his life should have ended in the freezing dark of the canal.

Instead, something else found him.

A voice in the shadows.

A contract written in blood.

Life in exchange for his soul.

Julian said yes.

Years later, the men who tried to kill him begin to die—one by one. Brutal. Unexplained. Inevitable.

Detective Sergeant Dent knows Julian is connected. But every lead vanishes. Every thread unravels.

Because the Devil doesn’t make mistakes.

And he always collects what he’s owed.

As Julian’s mother falls gravely ill and his grip on reality begins to fracture, he realizes the

Revenge isn’t justice.

It’s a debt.

And Hell never forgets.

The first book in a dark supernatural trilogy where justice comes at a terrifying cost.

Hi, I’m C H Elton, and I’ve been scribbling stories, poems, and half-baked book plots on scraps of paper for as long as I can remember. Most of it has been tucked away in drawers, but over the past few years I’ve finally started sharing my work with the world.

So far, I’ve published two books: Reflections, a collection of short story monologues inspired by Talking Heads, and The Power and the Glory, a crime thriller that moves between the Greek island of Kos and the Vatican. My next book—a supernatural thriller—is about to be released, and there’s always more poetry and stories waiting in the wings.

I spent 35 years working in the U.K. insurance industry, which, among other things, once had me giving 14 radio interviews in a single day, and even doing a live news broadcast from a campsite in Derbyshire about the dangers of overloaded cars. Since retiring, I’ve swapped policy documents for plot twists, and I couldn’t be happier.

When I’m not writing, I’m with my wife, our five children, and three grandchildren, or planning holidays somewhere warm where I can enjoy great local food and drink.

For me, writing is all about connection. I don’t mind whether readers love my work or pick it apart—as long as it makes them feel something, I know I’ve done my job.

A colleague of mine kept talking about this book during lunch breaks and finally said, “Just read the first few chapters.” I’m glad I listened.

*Kissed by the Devil: Micky the Demon* completely surprised me. I expected a typical revenge horror story, but it turned out to be much deeper and more intense. Julian’s pain felt raw and believable, and the whole “deal with the Devil” angle wasn’t just for shock value it actually explored the emotional cost of revenge.

Some scenes genuinely gave me chills, and I found myself thinking about the moral questions long after I put my Kindle down. It’s dark, gripping, and thought-provoking.

Safe to say… I’ve already recommended it to someone else at the office.

Kissed the Devil is a dark, seductive, and emotionally charged story that grabs hold from the start and doesn’t let go. C.H. Elton weaves passion, danger, and psychological depth into every page, creating a tale that feels both haunting and irresistibly human.

I just finished Kissed by the Devil: Micky the Demon and wow… this one stayed with me longer than I expected. What starts as a revenge story turns into something much darker and more emotional. I actually felt for Julian the pain, the anger, the desperation it all felt real.

The tension builds slowly, and once the consequences of his deal start unfolding, I couldn’t stop turning the pages. It’s not just about revenge; it’s about guilt, grief, and the price of getting what you think you want.

Dark, unsettling, and surprisingly emotional. I’m definitely picking up Book 2.

This book delivers a satisfying blend of revenge and suspense. What starts as a simple payback story evolves into something darker and more psychological. The pacing is tight, and the supernatural twist adds a chilling unpredictability.

I loved how unsettling this felt. It’s not just about violence it’s about dread. The idea that something unseen is orchestrating everything makes the story deeply disturbing in the best way.

Julian’s story is heartbreaking. Beneath all the darkness, this is really about a broken person trying to reclaim control. His pain feels real, which makes his choices even more tragic.
