If you've read Don't Stop, you'll automatically know that these novellas are WILDDD. Can't Stop is no exception and Lauren continues to find ways to make you say, "WTF?" This is a Horror Romance and it's not messing around so if you don't like horror, you probably won't like this book.

If you read the first book, Don't Stop, then you already know how crazy these two are. This book just continues their unhinged nature getting caught up in a ghost town of crazy people. You would think they would fit right in, but something is not quite right...even for their standards.
I absolutely loved diving back in with these two. I could always read any novella that stars these two unhinged MCs. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

6 stars! Just as incredible as the 1st book! Dalton and Rayna will be my favorite couple and live rent free in my head. The amount of unhinged moments are to die for, I devoured every page as I did the 1st book! What a remarkable masterpiece! Love this surprise

Listen... I LOVED book 1 (Don't Stop) - so much so I wish it was 3× the length - but this one... it got so far fetched and weird (in not a good way)... And I found the FMC insufferable this time - mind you, I know she was a bit much in book 1 already. This time the immaturity showed plainly. She was whiny as hell, and selfish. And the spice? GREAT first book, not so much this time - it felt performative as hell... Probably because the MMC didn't WANT it over half the time (but caved each time). It really felt like such a one sided relationship and the MMC was just there because he thought no one else would want him, but even HE didn’t ~really~ want to be there - when in book 1 he was allll for it. Rayna really became extremely irritating to me too, so can't say I blame Dalton for his feelings and thoughts throughout the book. And don't even get me started on the RIDICULOUS obsession Rayna has with this squirrel... she practically worships it, it's a bit much. Sometimes it felt she cared more for it than for Dalton.

What a sequel to Don’t Stop, I mean I loved that one and this story just follows on so well.
Rayna and Dalton, are journey bound but where that will take them is anyone’s guess as they search for the perfect place! A chance encounter means they end up in Oak Hollow and what happens there, stays there 🤭
Suffice to say, if you enjoyed the enrichment 🫣 of the first book then you’re going to love this one. Their insane love for one another is what makes this book, their unhinged personalities just want you to evolve with them, or is that just me? O! And the spice, with a smidgen of m^rder and mayhem…the icing on the cake 🍰 Not forgetting Van Gough and Raul, I wouldn’t ever! 🐿️

But honestly? I liked the first one more.

That damn squirrel is gonna get them killed — and I’ll be right here watching, laughing, and suffering all at once.
It’s short, fun, and super easy to read. It doesn’t really add much to the main story (and honestly, I kinda liked how the first one ended), but it was still a good time.

This book was very different from book one. Less romance because it was already established, but I liked the jealousy and sticky situations that Dalton and Rayna put themselves in. Rayna is even more crazy and frustrating in this story, but she remains Dalton's everything and he lives to please her. I'm hoping the last paragraphs hinted at another book with a different couple!

Such an amazing second book to follow up on Dalton and Rayna. This was unhinged in the best way. Our favorite unaliver couple finds themselves in their own life or death situation. I had a great time. This has alot of triggers so ensure to check if you need them

However… I just didn’t love this. I loved don’t stop so much like one of my favorites of hers. This one just didn’t do it for me. Yes it was depraved and had weird stuff but it just didn’t hit like don’t stop.

There are countless reasons why Lauren's books will always be favourites, and one of them is how unhinged the characters can be. And my favourite unhinged couple have come back for another Halloween, and it was absolutely perfect. Dalton and Rayna are the definition of meant to be, they quite literally complete each other. From Dalton doing things he never thought he would for Rayna, and Rayna finally having someone who sees her, and doesn't judge her or anything. Someone who accepts her for who she is.
The second I saw that they were back, I immediately got the ebook and once I started reading, I couldn't stop. Every second had me hooked, from beginning to end, I never wanted it to end tbh. Every second was absolutely perfect. The story, the characters (obviously) Rayna's love for Van Gogh, Dalton and taxidermy was something else. She's a tad deranged, but it just makes me love her even more, and it's quite obvious Dalton thinks the same. His love for her is unmatched, truly. They complete each other in the most messed up way.
It's no secret I'm obsessed with Lauren's books, and one thing you can ALWAYS count on with Lauren, is top tier spice. Not to mention questionable things as well, like train tracks, dead people and in many books, food. And Can't Stop was no exception. These two got up to some questionable stuff in this book and I loved every second of it.
If I talk anymore I'll spoil it, so i'm gonna stop talking now, but I cannot recommend this enough. The perfect Halloween read.

This was a great follow-up from Don't Stop. We get to see where Dalton and Reyna are. I loved that Reyna still had her little taxidermy squirrel with her. The new taxidermy introduced had me cackling, especially the use of it. Then the rat undies! Dalton had a cute little road trip planned but they didn't get to finish it. They should have known better than to pick up a hitchhiker. Samuel could have been Reynas best friend but had to go and ruin it. I really enjoyed seeing the hunters become the hunted and see how they were going to turn their luck around. The town they ended up in was really weird and made a lot of sense after you found out who the people were. Reyna still has a thing with lifeless bodies. I couldn't wait to see what Reyna and Dalton would do to Samuel and his family. It was sweet she let Samuel and his grandmother go. Especially when he sent them wedding rings made from something Reyna would love. It was funny when Dalton would get jealous over Samuel but then would hint him down if Reyna wanted him to. These are my second favorite hitchhiker duos from Lauren. This is a great read especially for the Halloween season.

The amount of times I ask myself...why is this so hot? While also simultaneously questioning my morals.

Something about Dalton and Rayna is just so heartwarming to me. The connection they have. Knowing they are on they outside of society, but they don't attempt to fit in and change for anyone. No longer alone in the universe and the connection they share is unbreakable! After reading Don't Stop a few months ago, it was like reuniting with old friends. Even Van Gogh! I can honestly say taxidermy was never on my bucket list until Lauren Biel brought it up and now it makes me wonder... LOL! The hitchhiker romances are my top reads of the year and when I found out there was a surprise release of another that was with Rayna and Dalton, it was an immediate grab for me!
Definitely check your trigger warnings! This leans heavy on the darker side of things, but if darker is your thing, then definitely pick this one up!

Just when I thought Dalton and Rayna couldn’t get weirder and more psycho, Lauren Biel proved me wrong and released this book. The Halloween Harvesters are back with their crazy adventures on their way to Florida to a town full of death. Along the way they decide to pick up a hitchhiker who, like Rayna, loves taxidermy. But this town is more than they bargained for and they are in for a wild and creepy wild. This town is full of death, secrets, and a very disturbing family. Dalton is obsessed with Rayna and he will not allow anyone to harm her, but Rayna is just as crazy. This town doesn’t know who they are have attempted to kidnap and sacrifice. I found myself cracking up throughout the entire book with their wild sexual shenanigans. Ryan loves to explore so UNIQUE things and Dalton loves her enough to try it. You have to read it and experience this wild adventure for yourself.

A wild adventure to a town shrouded in death leads to an unexpected kidnapping. Only this time, it's not the Halloween Harvesters doing the deed. The hitchhiker killer's become the targets and find themselves trapped in a town that the only occupants are a family trying to help their sick son and the Taxidermy spread throughout the town of Death. Doing what they can to escape their fate all while getting back Van Gogh, their Taxidermy squirrel son, that was taken for collateral. They remember they are as tables turn, and the truth is revealed. The Halloween Harvesters strike again and have a bright future ahead of them.
It's a very different vibe than book one, I definitely enjoyed this one more and can't wait for book 3!! Trigger warning check must be done before reading! You can expect a kidnapping, taxidermy, murder, blood, revenge, exhibitonism, torture, some spice, and more!

Ok but can Dalton and Rayna be any more perfect for each other!?
Im in love with these two! Quirky, spooky and so unhinged!
I love how Dalton just goes along with whatever Rayna has planned. Even if sometimes she needs to convince him a bit, even if sometimes he's terrified, this man loves her so much, he'll do literally anything to keep her happy!
Can't Stop has an amazing ghost town vibes setting! What can be more perfect for the Halloween Harvesters??
I'm excited to see of some of the characters we meet in this book will get their own story!

This book was dark, weird, quirky, funny, spicy, gory, crazy and fun. If you have read the first book and loved it, you will definitely like book 2. Once again, you have Rayna and Dalton looking for a Halloween adventure. It has been a year since the Halloween harvester’s last struck, and they are looking to have their game.
This book is not for the faint of heart as it is definitely gonna leave you with wtf did I just read? I myself love the weird horror romance, and this one screams of B-movie gore where two psychos with the creepiest kinks are just living their best romance lives and stumble into a town that is just as weird as they are.
Fun times are had by all. Well. Not all. The are the Halloween Harvesters after all. 🫣

I was shocked I didn't know this was coming out. The second I knew I bought it and devoured it in just over an hour.
I forgot how much I loved Rayna and Dalton. Rayna is so unapologetically weird and I love that about her character. They are so different yet they go together so well and their dynamic always makes me smile and laugh.
This also has the best line in a book I've read in a long time.
"Lady, he's dead. I get that you think my pussy is magic, but I can promise you that I do not have the Lazarus Labia. He ain't coming back from that."
That had me in stitches.
Also glad their son Van Gogh was back!
Can't wait to read Don't Stop and then this right after.

I absolutely adore this author!! Their ability to mix dark and depraved with a good mix of depraved spice, and a whole lot of humour, well, I find it amusing anyway! All this means an outstanding story where you never know what level of depravity you are going to get!
Well, that's one use for a taxidermied possum head, wonder if it's actually do-able, lol. (yeah, I did find that really, really amusing, now to make one).
Dalton is actually rather sane, well, compared to Rayna, and they are perfect for each other, and sidenote I wouldn't leave my best friend the squirrel behind either!
