Brian Long awakens in a strange and unfamiliar world. He has no idea how he ended up in the body he now inhabits.
In the world he finds himself in, the females are all biologically mute and are heavily oppressed, living in a state of abject slavery. Most males consider females to be just slightly more intelligent than cattle. There are about eight women for every male.
He now faces a moral should he take the easy route and accept the happy harem world he now finds himself in, or should he choose the much harder and potentially far more dangerous path to try to repair an obviously broken system? Can he break the silence that entraps the females?
What he doesn't realize is that the females are about to rise up, and they have spent decades, possibly centuries, planning their elaborate revenge.
The men control the weapons they are most familiar with, the guns.
The females don't need guns. They have become something far more lethal. They have become their own best weapon.

A note for the author and editors; please leave out the DEI, WOKE, and LGBTQ+ references in all future works. If you feel the need to include this material please make note of it in the description. This is a read that has a true refreshing quality. Enough reality from characters to make it real and enough sci-fi to keep it exciting. I would love to see a follow up to the story.
A very unusual premise, not quite as compelling as David's artifact series but a good read that compelled me to read cover to cover in only two sittings.
