Betrayed

In this third book in the Divided young adult dystopian series, continue the story readers call “addictive”, “timely,” and “courageous.” This book is best experienced after enjoying Divided and Caged, the first two books in the series.

Harriet wants nothing more than to escape the oppressive clutches of Queenstown's patrol captain, while also avoiding the truths from her past. But when the Supreme Commander Martin turns his hover planes’ weapons onto the once peaceful city of Queenstown, Harriet and her friends flee for their lives.

As they embark on a journey across the barren wasteland of the Federated Republic of America in search of allies, Harriet and her friends must use all their skills and wits to outsmart Martin and his powerful forces. But, even after they arrive in what should be friendly territory, the stakes continue to rise, and danger and betrayal threaten their survival. Harriet must confront the ultimate will she and her friends survive to defend their nation from enemies – both inside and out — or will they become just another statistic in an oppressive regime's quest for power?

If you couldn't put down The Hunger Games, the Scythe Series, or Maze Runner, then you won't want to miss Betrayed.

Content kisses only romantic subplot, made-up cursing, graphic violence consistent with the genre, tension and thrilling action, gun violence and death on page, and death of secondary characters, including parental death.

Thank you LBT for having me on this book review tour and for my gifted copy of this book. So happy to have a copy of this !!!

This is the third book in this series and I am totally obsessed. I absolutely love this author and these books. Like for real they are so so good !!

I loved the cover of this book. It was so well done and so eye catching!!!

I am going to be reading these books in order back to back cause I feel like I would get the story so much more and I just really can’t wait to do this !!

I couldn’t get over how good this book was. The writing the setting I mean can you imagine having a chip in your arm just to get across an area checkpoint I mean this city is trying to heal from an evil person and now have a chip and I couldn’t handle it I don’t think. I was a mess reading this book my emotions were all over the place.

The author does such a good job of making this book impossible to put down.

Despite everything these kids went through they still found a way to love and find humor and I’m not I would be able to do that at all. Nope.

I am not patiently awaiting the next book. Is this on audio book yet ? I need these to be an audio book!! Pleaseee!!

Excuse me while I go and just try to get over how good this book is !!!

Betrayed is the 3rd book in the Divided series by CC Robinson, and it is so good! I can’t even imagine living in a time when I have to have a chip inserted in my arm to be able to go through an area’s border checkpoint or have sentries everywhere. CC Robinson paints a picture of a city trying to heal from evil done by an evil man but still reeling from all that happened. I loved the grit shown by these kids as well as the drama, humor, love, friendships, and action in the book. They made it difficult to put the book down, all the way to the very end. Now, I’m looking forward to the next book in the series! Betrayed: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Epic dystopian tale

Little did I know when I grabbed a random dystopian novel from Bookfunnel that the series and my interest would still be going strong three books and two novellas later. The series absolutely needs to be read in order. The scope of the long term plot is epic will no boring lulls. But the driving force of these books is the true ensemble cast of characters. If you take a gamble on an unknown to you dystopian author this year, try out the Divided series by C. C. Robinson!

It's been about a year since I discovered this author and this series, but I'm back with the third book in the Divided series.
I practically devoured the first two books over a week last year and have been so excited to see how this story continues.

Although it had been quite a while, I still settled into this read pretty easily.
We do continue the storyline once again, so I do recommend that these books be read in order and the series as a whole.

The character and plot development really stands out and this one had me hooked from start to finish.

I really wasn't sure about the group splitting up - I mean I totally got why they thought they should, but I worried about what might happen if their numbers were even further reduced by this tactic.
Things, however, seemed to go smoothly .....maybe too smoothly?

I think I've said before that this is one of the genres I tend to read less of, but this series and it's characters have really captured me and I suspect that's because it's a YA read, there's less to bog me down.
This maybe says more about my mentality than the other books though!?
Still, I'm so invested in this story and know there's going to be a fourth book coming our way - and I can't wait.

Another great read. Worth the money. There's A twist you may not have seen coming, I did.

I received the series for an honest review. If you read some of my reviews you know they are honest.
