Melissa idk what you’re putting in your books, but I want more!

(Cupid) is easily one of my favorite stories out of the series. Heck, what am I saying? I love them all! But this one’s at the top of the list at the moment lol.

The author did a great spin on this story. I love the direction it went with storyline, character development, and writing style. You get a mix of romance with dark vibes with a dash of humor and of course banter 🥰 A lot is going on with this one in the best possible way. I don’t wanna give it all away, but I can say this: you get spice. It’s light, but it’s there, you get a glimpse of some mafia vibes, friendship bonds, and more!

All in all, this storyline is fast-paced and has everything you can want in one story. The found family aspect is truly amazing. I am glad I got to see familiar faces in this one. It felt like a welcoming home party.

Cupid. Eros. The God of Love. After an eternity of helping others find love, is it finally time for Eros to meet his match and experience love?

I loved the spin on Cupid, so dark and broody, but incredibly loyal to those he cares for. His character development was such a beautiful thing to read. In fact, I almost wish I could read it for the first time all over again. Venessa had a traumatic back story, but broken or not, she was a survivor. Will Venessa and Cupid find that love conquers all, including the mafia? Read it and find out.

Loves: the pacing, the relationships, the found family, new beginnings, great integration of characters from Books 1 & 2

Dislikes: none. I cannot think of a single thing I would change.

ARC Review:

Cupid’s story and I loved! Eros, God of Love, brings others together but never feels love himself. FMC, Venessa lives an isolated life. Their journey of learning about themselves and the power of love is so captivating. Each Forgotten Gods book I think that MMC is my new book boyfriend but Eros may take the top spot! He is broody but loyal; wants to take care of those in his life. I loved the incorporation of Books 1 & 2 characters as well as the found family theme! The book kept me interested the whole time and the spice was spicing! Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Favorite quote: “Everything happens for a reason, and you have to be strong enough to endure the hardships in order to find the joy and light at the edge of that darkness.”

Imagine a world where the God of Love can’t love. Impossible… right? Or maybe not.🤔🤭

I really enjoyed this book. Eros is the perfect MMC.. attentive, sweet, caring, with just the right touch of possessiveness. He had me swooning the entire time.🩷

I absolutely loved seeing characters from books one and two woven into this story. The found family vibes? Top tier. It added so much heart and depth to the overall series.

I will admit 🙈, the FMC wasn’t my favorite. I understood her motivations and why she was the way she was, but I wish we’d seen a bit more character growth. That extra development would have taken her from good to unforgettable.

All in all, Melissa is such a strong storyteller, and I’m already excited for the next book in the series!

Melissa has done it again with this book! Eros is the God of Love, but has never actually felt love. Vanessa is running for her life and stumbles into Eros'. Eros runs a club that is a safe space for him to use his power and people to experience desire. When Vanessa comes in smelling not fully human Eros is captivated by her. The character building in this was amazing! This had me not ready to put it down every time I had to.

Love is in the pages!!

Eros, the God of Love... I absolutely loved him!! Who knew the god of love didnt know what love felt like!! I was so thrilled with the parts Nic, McKenna, Jack, and Addison played in Eros story! I can't get enough of them. The end of this book had me so engaged, I couldn't put it down till the very last word. I can't wait to read the next Forgotten gods story!! Bring on Time!!

Couldn't put down

Melissa Did it again. This entire series has me completely enthralled. Using lesser focused on god's as the subjects for dark paranormal, romance is incredibly genius. The spice is hot and tactful, the writing style is smooth and cohesive, the plot is heavy and all consuming and Cupid aka Eros. GOD DAMN . Another must read!!
