Dana LeeAnn lives for the dark side of romance—the stalkier, the better. She originally used writing as an outlet to heal herself, but found it addictive, and has never stopped. Her books are packed with suspense and questionable love interests that will leave your heart racing at the turn of every page. When she’s not dreaming up new ways to torture her characters (and readers), she can be found in northern Colorado, exploring the mountains or dragging her husband into a new project around the house.
Luke has done it again. Manifested and brilliantly performed a phenomena, experiencing explosions of joy in a realm readers like us dream about, but it turned into a nightmare. What I'm about to say will shock many people, and I'm often questioned about it, but it's the truth. If there are clusters of balloons in a room, call paramedics immediately. Only two things frighten me, and one of them is the sight of helium-filled balloons floating around aimlessly. AND so, as some readers gasped in admiration at the scenario, I felt suffocated, unable to breathe, and profoundly concerned for the main character's survival. (Bitch run …. Out the door..)
As the events continue to unfold my blood pressure remain elevated as a very interesting turn of events takes place in the vineyard.
All in all another great adventure
But…
..I will say I feel strongly that a trigger warning should have been provided about them hideous scary heart balloons … just saying …
This novella can be read as a standalone or for full character experience. Ur gonna wanna read the other 2 books in the series. This is a very fast-paced Valentine's Day erotica novella. I love how Luke will do anything to make Serafina happy even become her masked stranger. This is a very good erotica holiday novella, and I can't wait to see what is next with these 2.
I said it before and I’ll say it again! This girl knows how to write a great holiday theme dark romance! It’s sweet, it’s dark, it’s spicy and it’s fun! If you haven’t read these novellas what are you waiting for. Love this couple and their connection and hot they grow through the seasons!
omg I love this little series🤭🤭 each one was a different holiday🤭🤭 I want more of those👀👀 even more like the twist!!! I was not expecting that and it was so damm hottt 🤭🤭
I didn't think it could get better than Pounded in the Patch and Taken in the Tree Farm, but oh my! Seraphina came into her own on this one! It was hot! It was wild and it was everything that I hoped it would be! This took this series to another level and I loved the heights it reached. The story, the aching tension, the cat and mouse game...all of it. Luke is the man of every dark romance girlie dreams. This will forever be my favorite stalker series and I can't wait to see what else is in store!!!
“Roses are red. Wine is divine. If he won’t hunt you through a vineyard, he’s not worth your time.”
This is such a cute, spicy little Valentine’s Day novella! Luke & Sera are back at it again with such a fun one! 🍇❤️🌶️ If you liked Pounded in the Patch & Taken in the Tree Farm - you’ll love this one! I will say, there was a bit of a surprise plot twist in there that i absolutely D E V O U R E D 🤌🏻🤭🔥 I loved it so much!
I don't know man, something about being chased through a vineyard gets me curious. I've read the normal pumpkin patches, forests, corn fields, but the vineyards is so different and in a sense a little romantic. I hate for the Dark Nights series to be at an end, but I have loved the chases and adventures Seraphina and Luke had. I loved that Dana kept it with them, and not making each story a different couple.
This was so short! I finished it in 45 minutes. I have read a lot of dark romance lately, and honestly this wasn’t dark to me at all! 🫣 I loved the cat and mouse aspect of it with Luke planning a whole Valentine’s date chasing Seraphina through their vineyard - that bought as a surprise! To be transparent, I have not read the first two books. I want to so I can get background on their relationship!
ARC REVIEW This story is really well written. The detail is amazing and you can really picture everything you are reading. I don’t want to spoil anything but I love their story and how you can see their trust and growth with each other. I can’t wait to see what’s next! I definitely recommend this for a quick fun read
Just like the others before this one I loved that Luke does this just to make Seraphina's dreams come true. I cannot mention enough that I LOVED the way she got her revenge. the only thing I personally didn't enjoy was that Sera barely got to finish a sentence without trailing off or being interrupted. Highly recommend!
Fun, spicy and unexpected. Loved the predator prey dynamic, chases through the vineyard, and all the elaborate planning and details. Absolutely adored the flip and Seraphina making a power play.
"This is a hunt. And I'm the fucking prey"
"I think I want him to catch me again"
"My body isn't mine anymore....it's his, responding to his touch like an instrument he's spent years learning to play"
✨ ARC Review ✨ This was the perfect dark and twisty conclusion to the series. Luke is THE MMC, setting up these scenes. I loved the twist in this one and the setting was perfect. The spice was *chef kiss* as always.
OMG i have been waiting for this arc and Dana never disappoints. It was sweet and short novella full of details and fun (iykyk 😮💨👀) love these two and their relationship😍🥹.So adorable and just perfect 👀✨️
** ARC Review ** Valentines in the Vineyard is a short, spicy little gem that will satisfy that Valentines mood read craving. I love Luke and Seraphina's relationship. They are the ultimate fun couple with a lot of trust, love and spice!
Love, love, love! Having read Taken in the Tree Farm, I was excited for more in this next installment, and they didn't disappoint! I loved the twist in dominance. Amazing short story as we move into the month of Valentine!
"Valentines in the Vineyard" is the third installment in the "Dark Nights Collection" to complete the trilogy.
Seraphina discovers upon waking up in a strange vineyard, not even knowing how she gets there, that she's someone's prey. And whose prey is she, you may ask? Her own husband's. He's hunting her. However, unbeknownst to him, she has something up her sleeve...
Seraphina, our FMC, isn't such a damsel-in-distress after all, and I love that about her! The way she takes the reins is bad-ass, and the switching of power dynamics changing is exciting. Luke, our caring and unhinged MMC, oh my goodness, I love him. He's a perfect balance of red and green flags - the way he wants to bring her fantasies into reality? SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. He's the perfect man!
This is a perfect little fast-paced Valentine's Day short novella. Dark, spicy, and thrilling! Delicious smut, and I enjoyed every second of it. The storytelling will really pull you in: it's enthralling, doesn't drag, and provides vivid imagery. If you need a quick read, then this one is the one for you because it'll have you in a death grip until the end, as it did me. And that twist? OH MY LORD. The aura the book holds is so tantalising that I finished it in one setting. It ended too soon for me.
Overall, it's about truly giving each other the love and trust that you need. To feel like you're the only one who matters in the end. A beautifully written story, albeit twisted in all the right ways. I love it. Expected release is *drum roll* ... TOMORROW! 17th of Jan 2026!
Wow. This book was short, intense, and unapologetically spicy. Valentine in the Vineyard follows an established couple and leans hard into trust, desire, and power play in a way that made this read incredibly fun and memorable. The dynamic between Seraphina and Luke is what really carries the story. There’s already a deep level of intimacy and understanding between them, which makes the scenarios they explore feel intentional and consensual rather than shocking for shock’s sake. Luke sets up a role-play scenario that quickly turns the vineyard into a playground of tension and anticipation, and I loved how the story leaned into primal energy—the chase, the thrill, the loss of control. When he tells her to run, I was immediately locked in. The vineyard setting was used perfectly. From the open space to the cellar, every location heightened the mood and intensity. Luke absolutely knows how to bring Seraphina pleasure, and the slow build, teasing, and edging made the spice feel earned rather than rushed. What really pushed this book into standout territory for me, though, was the power shift later in the story. Seeing Seraphina flip the script and take control was everything. I love when an FMC gets to dominate, and Luke fully embracing a more submissive role for her was incredibly hot. That reversal added depth to their relationship and showed how balanced their dynamic truly is—they both get to lead, surrender, and trust each other completely. Final thoughts: This was a short but impactful read—heavy on spice, strong on chemistry, and packed with kink-friendly dynamics like primal play, edging, and power exchange. If you love couples who trust each other deeply and aren’t afraid to explore both sides of control, Valentine in the Vineyard is absolutely worth the read. 🍷🔥 Spicy, bold, and deliciously unbalanced in the best way 🔥🍷

Valentines in the Vineyard was a short, spicy little heart-thief that I devoured in one sitting and then immediately sat there smiling like I’d just witnessed something sinful and sweet at the same time.
Dana Leeann knows exactly how to make a novella hit hard and fast. This may be quick, but it packs tension, heat, devotion, and that delicious Luke and Seraphina magic that keeps getting better with every book. Yes, it can be read as a standalone, but honestly? Watching their relationship build across the series makes this one land so much deeper.
Luke continues his reign as the ultimate seems-like-a-red-flag-but-is-actually-a-whole-forest-of-green-flags MMC. Dangerous energy, soft heart, unwavering devotion. The man does not just love Seraphina, he worships her dreams and actively makes them happen. I melted. Repeatedly.
And Seraphina? Obsessed. This book shows a side of her that is confident, self-aware, and unapologetic about what she wants. Watching her step fully into that power was incredibly satisfying. These two don’t just have chemistry, they have trust, heat, and that unspoken understanding that makes everything feel sharper and more intense.
The cat-and-mouse tension was unreal. The quotes alone should tell you everything:
“You have until the song ends to run. After that… You’re mine.” “This isn’t random. This isn’t a crime of opportunity. This is a hunt. And I’m the fucking prey.” “He’s faster. He’s stronger. He’s been playing with me this whole time, and now he’s done playing.” “Remind me never to underestimate you again.”
EXCUSE ME?? I was gone. Completely feral.
This novella is spicy, fast-paced, intimate, and dripping with Valentine’s Day vibes without being cheesy. Just passion, desire, and two characters who fit together perfectly in the dark and in the light.
✨ • Book Review / ARC Review • ✨ Valentines in the Vineyard by Dana LeeAnn
Book Review : 4 ⭐️ Spice Level : 3.5 🌶️
I want to say Thank you to Dana LeeAnn and team for the opportunity to get an ARC of this book!
Valentines in the Vineyard is dark, atmospheric, and such a fun twisted take on Valentine romance 🌹🍷
Waking up in a vineyard with no memory of how she got there.
The black heart balloons drifting between tangled vines and a voice in the darkness commanding her to run, had me instantly hooked. The eerie February night setting and constant sense of being watched make this one short, sharp, and deliciously unsettling.
What makes it even better is that Dana is so good at writing these little stories that hook you from the first line and the way it is written it feels like an enemies or strangers but it reveals that it’s husband and wife indulging in a dangerous, seductive game. The predator and prey dynamic hits harder knowing there’s love, trust, and history beneath the darkness.
He may be lurking in the shadows, but she’s no helpless victim. She has claws, and she knows exactly when to use them.
This is book three in the series, following Pounded in the Patch and Taken in the Tree Farm, and it fits perfectly with the theme of playful, unhinged holiday twists. The Valentine’s night surprise at the end is the perfect finishing touch, intimate, twisted, and very them.
Short, intense, and perfect for readers who love dark romance with eerie vibes, power shifts, and couples who are just a little feral for each other.
Add this one to your TBR if you like your Valentine stories with teeth 🖤🌑
✨Arc Review✨ Valentines in the Vineyard Dark Nights Collection Trilogy Available Jan 16th ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5
🖤VALENTINE'S DAY 🥀PRIMAL PLAY 🖤UNEXPECTED TWIST 🥀SPICYYYY 🖤GRAPE VINES... 🥀MILLIONAIRE MCS 🖤LOTS OF WINE...
This super fast paced novella may be short, but don’t let the size fool you, it absolutely packs a punch. Set around Valentine’s Day, it’s the perfect dose of spice and chaos.
We follow Seraphina and Luke once again, this time on a thrilling hunt through a vineyard, and wow… the unexpected twist? Chef’s kiss 😘, It was clever, well thought out, and somehow made their romp through the vineyard even more delicious (at least for me 👀).
Honestly, if you don’t have a man like Luke in your life, who can bring your deepest, darkest fantasies to life, what are you even doing? Go get one immediately. I know I wish I had one 🤣
What I loved most was seeing a different side of Seraphina. She was tough as nails, unapologetic, and relentless in going after what she wanted, and the execution was spot on. 🙌🏼
The tension between these two? Scorching. The chemistry? Off the charts. I mean I don’t expect anything different from this trilogy. It’s delivered every time.
If you’re looking for a spicy Valentine’s read that’s unforgettable, this is absolutely a must read and should be added to TBR.
Thank you to Dana for the opportunity to read this early! ❤️
Valentines in the Vineyard: Dark Edition is short, eerie, and dripping with atmosphere—like a vintage Valentine dipped in ink and secrets. From the moment, waking among twisted grapevines with no memory and black heart balloons floating overhead, the story feels unsettling in the best, old-school way. It’s simple, striking, and leans hard into mood over exposition.
The black pages with white text elevate the experience into something almost ritualistic. It feels less like reading a book and more like uncovering a cursed little love letter you weren’t meant to find. The February chill, the disembodied voice, the command to run—every element works together to create a sense of being hunted…but not helpless.
What really makes this story shine is the quiet subversion. Yes, there’s a watcher. Yes, there’s a predator in the dark. But the reminder that prey can have claws too adds a satisfying edge that keeps this from being just another chase. It’s feminine, feral, and faintly defiant.
If you love dark aesthetics, minimalist storytelling, and romance-adjacent horror with Valentine’s Day symbolism twisted just enough to feel dangerous, this edition of Valentines in the Vineyard is a haunting little treat—perfect for readers who like their love stories sharp around the edges. 🖤🍷
Valentines in the Vineyard is a short, indulgent read that delivers exactly what it promises- dark romance, undeniable chemistry, and a moody, atmospheric setting that feels perfect for Valentine’s season.
Dana LeeAnn does a great job of using the vineyard backdrop to enhance the tone of the story. There’s something decadent and intimate about the setting that pairs beautifully with the emotional intensity between the characters. Despite its shorter length, the story never feels rushed; the pacing is tight, and every scene serves a purpose.
The romance is intense and unapologetically spicy, but what stood out most to me was the emotional pull beneath the heat. The dynamic between the characters feels charged and deliberate, with just enough tension to keep you turning pages even when you know the story won’t hold back. This is very much in line with Dana LeeAnn’s signature darker style, and fans of her work will feel right at home here.
If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy Valentine’s read, this probably isn’t it, but if you enjoy bold, darker romances with strong chemistry and a seductive vibe, this one absolutely hits the mark.
Overall: A quick, spicy, and satisfying read that’s perfect for fans of dark romance and holiday themed novellas. Best enjoyed with a glass of wine. 🍷❤️
🖤 ARC Review | Valentine’s In The Vineyard 🖤 by Dana LeeAnn “I wake in a vineyard with no memory of how I got here…” From the very first page, this story wraps you in unease and refuses to let go. Black heart balloons drifting between twisted grapevines, a voice in the darkness commanding her to run, and the constant feeling of being watched—it’s atmospheric, chilling, and impossible to look away. What truly caught me off guard? That plot twist. I did not see Dana LeeAnn taking Seraphina and Luke’s story in this direction, and I was completely blown away by how brilliantly it unfolded. Every reveal hit harder than the last, adding depth, tension, and emotional weight to their journey. I loved how each scene draws Seraphina and Luke closer together. Their bond has grown with each installment in the series, building trust, love, and emotional depth along the way. Their connection feels earned through fear, danger, and choice, making it impossible not to root for them. Dark, suspenseful, and unexpectedly emotional—Valentine’s In The Vineyard proves that sometimes the prey has claws of her own. 🖤🍷 💬 Do you love watching relationships grow across a series, or do you prefer standalone romances?
Great short, fast paced & spicy Valentine’s Day novella. Third book in the Dark Nights Collection. Can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the books in order, because they follow the same couple, Luke & Seraphina.
This series is perfect if you’re in the mood for something short and spicy. Luke continued to be the seems-like-a-red-flag-but-is-actually-a-huge-green-flag MMC. He’s such a sweetie, making Seraphina’s dreams come true one by one.
I loved Seraphina in this book so much! She knew what she wanted and I loved seeing this other side of her. These two characters are just perfect for each other.
"You have until the song ends to run. After that... You're mine." “This isn't random. This isn't a crime of opportunity. This is a hunt. And I'm the fucking prey.” “He's faster. He's stronger. He's been playing with me this whole time, and now he's done playing.” "Remind me never to underestimate you again,"
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
I RECEIVED THIS AS AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Valentine in the Vineyard is short, feral, and disrespectful to my peace. Established couple, unholy chemistry, and trust so solid they can play dangerous without it turning dumb or cringe 🙄
Luke says run and I mentally folded like a lawn chair. The vineyard becomes a full-on hunting ground 🌿🩸 the tension is nasty, the teasing is cruel, and the edging? RUDE. This book knows exactly what it’s doing and does it with a smirk.
AND THEN the power flips 😌 Seraphina takes control, Luke submits, and suddenly Mr. Red Flag is actually a walking green flag with consent and devotion tattooed on his soul. If that doesn’t do it for you… idk read something boring and leave us alone 🥱
Tiny book. Massive bite. Dark Valentine chaos, primal vibes, and a twist that had me giggling like an unwell person 😈 If you don’t add this to your TBR, that’s a you problem. Skill issue. Reflect on that.
Huge thanks to Dana LeeAnn for the ARC 🖤 Sometimes the prey bites back… and honestly? Deserved 🔥🍷

I absolutely loved this series, with each book centered around a different holiday (this one celebrating Valentine’s Day) and it was such a perfect way to wrap everything up.
Roses are red. Wine is divine. If he won’t hunt you through a vineyard, he’s not worth your time.
Dana has such a gift for transporting you straight into every setting she writes. The vineyard atmosphere was vivid, romantic, and just a little dangerous...in the best way. I’ve loved watching Luke go to extreme lengths to make Sera’s fantasies come to life throughout the series, but this time there’s a delicious twist, and Sera finally gets to have her own fun too.
This was an amazing conclusion to such a fun, addictive trilogy. It’s short, spicy, sweet, thrilling, and an absolute blast to read. The love these two share truly shines, the way they trust and just absolutely adore one another is amazing!
This series had all my favorites, stalking, primal play, and smoking hot spice!Valentines in the Vineyard is the third and final installment in the Dark Nights Collection, and it closes out the series perfectly.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Thank you for the digital arc! 💕🤭 This is the third and final book in Dark Night Collection following Lukas and Seraphina! This was such a fun and thrilling read. From the start with a blind setup of our FMC waking to being chased in a vineyard. The thrill of the chase was intoxicating to read, the use of vines, grape and wine through the spice was great and def earned a chuckle! Spoilers now: The twist of her turn taking control was so sick! I didn’t see that coming and it was great to see the tables turn. Loved the ending setting up for more crazy situations for our couple!
Fav quotes: “Instead close my eyes and let myself drift, safe in the arms of a monster who makes me feel more alive than I’ve ever felt before” “These games we play, these elaborate scenarios I build for her- they’re just different ways of saying the same thing. You belong to me. And I belong to you” “You surprised me. And then you took care of me, the same way I always try to take care of you. It was…It was extraordinary.”

Valentines in the Vineyard is the perfect blend of thriller tension, deviant spice, and unexpected romance — and just when you think you know where the story is going, Dana LeeAnn pulls the rug out from under you with a delicious twist.
This book is equal parts seductive and suspenseful, and the role reversal between the characters was one of my favorite elements. Watching the power dynamics shift kept me completely hooked and constantly guessing what was coming next.
Dana has a gift for immersive storytelling — while reading, you don’t just see the vineyard, you feel it, smell it, and taste the wine in the air. Her writing pulls you directly into the scenes, making it impossible to put the book down.
The spice is bold, the romance is twisted in the best way, and the thriller elements add just enough darkness to keep you on edge until the very end.
If you love books that are romantic but dangerous, sexy but smart, and full of surprises, this one is a must-read. A solid 10/10 — and I’m already thinking about it long after the last page.
