I DEVOURED this book in a day! I laughed and cried and it ended perfectly! I loved the cameos the die hard fans made (life myself). It was crazy and perfect all in one book. You have to read from book one to get the whole story, and a full series reread is definitely due!
I can't wait for Psalm 23 Shepherds to come out!

Y'all! It is hard to believe that this is the last book in this series! We are finally here to see what we have all been waiting years for! Cindy and Jeremiah are finally going to tie the knot...HOPEFULLY! IF they don't get killed before that happens!

The whole series has stressed me out every time I pick one up to read! But this final book had me biting nails, putting the book down to relieve the stress, laughing, crying, thinking NOOOOOOOOOO several times! Oh so many feels while reading! We finally get to see what Matthews's end-game is and y'all, it is not nice! Throughout the entire book we are kept on the edge of our seats wondering if Jeremiah and Cindy are going to make it to the wedding, will they make it through the wedding, will they make it out with their lives? Author Debbie Viguie has managed to keep this reader invested in Cindy and Jeremiah's lives for 15 years, and each book has managed to keep me on the edge of my seat. I loved Forever, there were twists and turns and tears and smiles and shock. I was emotionally spent by the time I read the last page. The Psalm 23 Mysteries will be one of my favorite series FOREVER!

I don't know if I have words for how much I loved this book! It really does wrap the series up in a very satisfying way, while leaving the door open for the sequel series to come. I can't write much without spoiling, but fans of this series will be pleased (especially fans like me who found their names in the actual story- nice touch!)

This is a satisfying ending to the series, and it is nice to see so many characters from it return. I enjoyed the funny banter between them. That laughter is worth reading.

I love the unexpected skill set that Dave brought to the situation, and yes, I can envision that in youth pastors, with or without the hot chocolate.

The 6 year old Crystal character is funny, and perhaps unrealistic. Part of me wants to know whether a 6 year old can possibly have the strength to apply enough force for that. Accuracy is only part of it, and I have my doubts.

She did have some insightful observations, though, about things such young children should not know, particularly about violence.

I don't understand why so many series end with the last book having a battleground. Although this is a mystery book, many young adult fiction book series seem prone to it, too: Harry Potter, Avengers, Divergent, Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games, Rangers' Apprentice, Scythe, Summoner, Pennyroyal Academy, the list goes on and on. I suppose it's to increase the level of suspense from the prior books, but seriously, I could've done without the battles.

I think they could've just restrained or captured one character, instead of killing, because that character felt coerced, unsettled, and even distraught. I think there could've been a different way out provided, but I understand that those threatened probably didn't have the skill level to attempt such a thing.

Like the last couple of books, this book has a lot of talk about sex for a book without any sex in it. I realize that's normal when preparing for a wedding, but be aware. Some readers of Christian fiction/romance prefer books without sex to try to guard their own hearts more. As I said before, the banter in this book is funny, and most of it is fairly innocent, but still.

"Food is the best cure for trauma." Of course that isn't true. There are other, better things, but food can help. There is such a thing as comfort food for a reason.

After months of planning and waiting, the week of the wedding is finally here. The group is sure they can't plan any more for whenever Matthews will choose to strike, and have tried to cover every base. Cindy's armory dress is finished, and the men have their shoulder holsters ready for their suits. They finally decode Not Paul's coded letter and learn that there are 2 unknown people in their lives that were planted there years ago by Matthews, and suddenly they don't know who they can trust. They are all determined to get Cindy and Jeremiah to the altar and off on their honeymoon, and hopefully they all live to tell about it.
This was far more violent then the series usually is, and clearly was a story because there were multiple scenarios at the end that are highly improbable to have happened in real life but I was glad it did because it would have been a terrible ending otherwise. The epilogue was funny, but I am sad this is the last of the series. I hope Cindy and Jeremiah at least have cameos in the next series she writes (Psalm 23 shepherds) so I can still see where they are in their lives.

I would say this is a 3.5 for me. I have loved and adored this series, however, I kind of have mixed feelings on how this ended (honestly, I felt same since the last three books). Ultimately, it ended happily (well mostly. Spoiler: Jeremiah and Cindy find a dead body in their first honeymoon suite). Some things just seemed totally unrealistic or off, such as a six-year-old who talks like a ten or twelve-year-old and is savvy about weapons. Then again, I haven't researched the life of spy children, so I could be missing something.

Overall, this series is amazing and at least it has a satisfactory ending.

I have loved this series from the start. This book has some parts that are totally unrealistic and un-believable. I don't ever mind a little creative writing, but some of this was off the charts. That being said, the book was a joy to read. The ending was rather comical which I enjoyed. I did start getting the characters confused because there were so many of them!

I enjoyed seeing Martin's family and am happy for where Dave's life seems to be going. Ezra is a really good person and seems to be able to help Jeremiah with his newfound faith.

Having a second battle scene instead of using the reception for recover and celebration seemed like overkill

Jerimah and Cindy are finally getting married and off to their honeymoon, or are they. With " Not Paul"s father out to get them a bloodbath is sure to happen. But with all their friends there to help it ends well.

Awesome ending to this series that has been going on for 16 years. There was a little more bad language in this one, hence the 4 star rating. But man, what an ending
