I love reading Mother Angelica's books. She had so much common sense and a deep love for Him which is revealed in her insights and words. I really enjoyed reading her written thoughts this Advent. I need to always remember her advice about the straw for His manger, too.
I highly recommend her books. She never spoke like a philosopher or theologian, but rather as a wise, stern and loving aunt looking out for our best interest. I miss her greatly. Thankfully there are many of her books available at least.
