I have had so much fun reading this series, it is just one of those series that as soon as you pick up the book, you just know you are in for a good time. Great characters, great setting, and a feel good slow burn romance that is always full of tension is all the right ways.

I have been wanting Meg's story for awhile now and was so very excited to find out that her's would finally be told and what a story!

I loved this. I loved the instant sparks (not insta-love) and Val and Meg were just..magical together.

Like most of Bybee's stories, nothing ever comes easy to her characters but all the struggle and sometimes heartache, are worth it when you finally get to the end. To the happily ever after that leaves you with a silly goofy grin on your face.

I love that this took place somewhere different. The island setting was amazing and many times I imagined and wished I could be there with them experiencing it all. Most importantly, I love that while this can be a stand alone, it has many of the characters from the previous books. Ones we already love and care about. It is so much fun when that happens. I was so excited for some many of them and love that we always get that little bit more when it comes to them.

Once again this was an amazing love story that kept me turning the pages and wanting more.

Meg Rosenthal loves her job at Alliance. When she learns of an exclusive island resort in the Florida Keyes that caters to giving the rich a private vacation with no cameras or paparazzi, she believes it may be perfect for Alliance. Deciding to check out the resort, Meg asks Hollywood Heartthrob Michael Wolfe to accompany her. Michael is excited to see this resort and hopes all their claims of privacy are true. Meg initially clashes with the owner, Valentino Massini, when he rejects her application. It takes some convincing to allow her on the island. When Meg finally meets Val, sparks fly between them, and Meg thinks this may just turn out to be the vacation of her dreams.

This is the sixth book in the Weekday Brides series. This was a good story, but the relationship between Val and Meg was my least favorite. Even though I liked both Meg and Val, I felt like there was something missing. I just can't put my finger on exactly what bothered me about them.

My favorite part of the story was Michael. He was been an important part of this series and I was happy to see him featured in this book. Michael has hidden his sexuality from his family and his fans for years. The possibility of being able to have a relationship without any cameras in the way thrills him. When he invites Ryder to join him, he starts looking at his life and decides to make some changes.

Overall, this is a good story that sets up the final book in the series. My rating: 4 Stars.

If you are looking for a fabulous contempory romance series and haven’t read Catherine Bybee’s bride series, I am here to say, you are in for a treat with this series!

Ms. Bybee’s bride series is still going strong and Seduced by Sunday, book 6, is a stunning example of this. Although this book could be read as a standalone, characters from previous books become the leading characters in following books (and so an and so forth). Readers will appreciate things more if they are read in order. This author also does a fabulous job carrying these characters from one book to the next. It’s almost like a big family reunion with each book.

This is Meg’s book, and we know Meg as Judy’s (from Taken by Tuesday) best friend from college. She is now working for Alliance and is tasked with finding a secluded and paparazzi-free honeymoon getaway for Alliance’s clients. She schemes to find a way into an exclusive resort on a private island that is reported to be ultra private, exclusive, and completely unique.

Problems arise when she is denied access to the island, and she angrily engages the owner of the island, the fabulous and elusive Valentino Masini. When Meg is finally granted access to the island, she is not happy, but when she meets Val her anger and pride are replaced with interest and instant attraction. The feeling is definitely mutual as the sparks FLY between these two characters.

For those who are followers of this series, you know that these books are not simply love stories. They are stories filled with secondary characters, friendships, intrigue, hints of mystery, and some interesting plot twists.

I liked this book as much, if not more than Taken by Tuesday. The location of this book made me long for beaches, sun, and warm weather. The romance was very present, especially towards the end of the book, and I found myself getting swept away by the entire island experience.

The mystery was just enough of a focus to interest me, but I didn’t think it overshadowed the romance portion of the book. The secondary characters all played important roles in this book and added to complexity of plot and the multiple story arcs that made this book truly enjoyable.

I am sad that we have just one more book to look forward to in this fabulous and unforgettable Weekday Bride series. I would love to see a grand finale epilogue to catch up with each of these couples and to say a final goodbye.

adorei, adorei, adorei!!!!!!

que venha o próximo!!!!

As a die-hard Catherine Bybee fan, I was eagerly awaiting the 6th book in the Weekday Bride series. I was so excited, that when I was able to get my hands on an advanced copy through Netgalley, I squealed like a little girl. Unfortunately, this book did not live up to my expectations. Ms. Bybee is one of my favorite contemporary romance writers. I know with certainty that her characters have a slow build up to love, and is either followed by or pre-ceded by a marriage of convenience. This book was not like the others.
Meg Rosenthal, Judy's best friend (book 5) is now Alliance's newest employee. Using her newest client as a jumping off point, Meg decides to investigate this private island where said client is honeymooning. Sapori di Amore is a private, secluded island off the coast of Key West, Florida, where one can go to get away and not be bothered. It is so private that celebrities can feel comfortable being there without their picture being splashed around a tabloid if they dared to wear last years colors. Meg, going on the assumption that nothing can possibly be that private, enlists the help of Judy's older brother, movie star Michael Wolfe as her "significant other" to get into this exclusive resort. When Meg's background check doesn't get her cleared fast enough, she starts an email snark fest with the owner of the island, Valentino Masini. When her very connected friends finally get Meg her acceptance into Paradise, Meg is set to unleash her fury on Valentino himself. Until she sets her eyes on him. Val, too, is intrigued by this woman, and goes out to his private airstrip to meet her plane, and is struck dumb by the woman standing in front of him.
Seems like a fantastic beginning. Then the book goes from a sweet build up of romance, to a very strange plot that involves secret photos, Michael's secret being revealed, Val's sister's fiancé acting anything but like a doting fiancé, and a winery that may or may not be what it claims to be. Followed by Gabi, Val's sisters' eventual kidnapping, marriage at sea and a drug plot that made little to no sense in a romance story.
I think, because in every single one of the Weekday Bride stories there is a subplot that is slightly nefarious, Bybee continued on in that vein, but this one seemed to miss the mark. I missed the romance aspect of her story. It may have been here, but I didn't feel it, and that was disappointing. The only time I felt like Meg and Val had connected in the way that I knew they would was at the end of the story. I missed watching the two fall in love naturally and not because they were rushing to find out who was setting up Val to make his island look unsafe, and then rushing to find Gabi before it was too late.
What I did enjoy was that Meg was not your perfect character. She suffered from Asthma. I can count on one hand the few books I've read where the main character had a health issue. So thank you for making your main female character that much more relatable.
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes, because while it may not be the last in the series, it felt like closure with ALL of the characters from the previous 5 books. I hope that this series continues, because I do like it, but I would love it if Ms. Bybee went back to the beginning and concentrated on her current characters, how they're doing, and how their weekday weddings" worked out for them!

Meg'in Val'e karşı olan tavrı, Val'in kendisini dizginlemeye çalışması, sürekli birbirlerine gelirken diğerinin çoktan ayrıldığından haberdar olmamalarına bayıldım.

This was fantastic! I loved Meg, I loved Val, and I loved that we got to see Michael so much in this story! I sort of wish he could have gotten his own book to finish his story line off, but I will take what I can get. This one was just as much fun as the others in the series, and I loved being able to envision so many picturesque places in this story. Made me itchy to get near a beach!

I loved how strong Meg was. She is independent, smart and brave. I loved her banter with Val and that he never resented her for how she was, or seemed put off to let her take center stage. They were both fantastic together, and their chemistry was hot. I craved their scenes together. My heart broke for Val's sister, Gabi, and I can't wait to see her get her true happy ending in the next book. I definitely recommend this book if you are a fan of romantic suspense.

So I really loved Meg and I really loved Valentino. Meg is a realist in all sense of the word. She doesn’t get caught up in those “love at first sight” types of things. She is a matchmaker but she knows thats not always how life works. Meg works for Alliance like others in this series. She is supposed to be finding a great secluded honeymoon spot for couples. When she thinks she finds a perfect one she can’t seem to go to the island. In comes Valentino, owner of the private island. Immediately you can feel the sexual tension between these two. The way Meg talks to him is downright hilarious. They don’t want to admit what they do to each other but when they finally do, you better watch out. I’ve read 4 in this series this one is probably my 2nd favorite, my favorite definitely being the first one.

I just finished reading "Seduced by Sunday" by the brilliant Catherine Bybee and let me say it was so freaking amazing. Since reading the first book in 'The Weekday Brides' series "Wife by Wednesday", I have been a huge fan of the authors works. This series is one of the only series that i have read, that continuously has me craving more.

Catherine Bybee has this crazy and unique ability to make you feel like you are apart of the story and that you actually know these characters. I haven't found one character in the series that i don't feel some sort of connection with, and that makes the story come to life. There is this awesome mixture of everything you could want in a story. The men in this series are all so amazing delicious and even envy the kind of love, care and support that they show to the women they love (&& i mean the all consuming forever kind of love). But the story is not even close to just a run of the mill romance, it is packed with suspense and mystery as well. Ms. Bybee has an uncanny ability to come up with unique and entertaining plots that keep the reader hooked from first page to the last.

I am a die hard fan of this series. It is so bittersweet that as much as i am already psyched to read "Treasured by Thursday" but I am sad to know that will be the last in this series. I don't want to see my favorite ladies of Alliance and their insanely HOT men go.

Thank you Catherine Bybee for bringing these characters to life and gifting all of us fans with your amazing books.

Bom!

Seduced by Sunday is Meg and Valentino's story. While this series seems to be more about contract marriages, this one is a bit different.

We met Meg in the last book. She's still working for Alliance, and she travels to Valentino's Island resort hoping to find a new, discreet location for the companies future couples to honeymoon. What better way to see if the resort is truly discreet than by bringing movie star Michael Wolf along.

While these two scout out the resort, we not only get the new romance of Meg and Valentino, we also get some growth with Michael that I won't spoil. Let's just say I'm glad he we got more for him. His story felt unfinished until now. We also got new characters to love, and the suspenseful drama this series is known for.

I'm enjoying this series and I highly recommend the audiobooks. The narrator Tanya Eby is fantastic!

While Val’s mother was a stereotype of an Italian mother, I still found that character amusing.
This  particular one was a puzzle I found intriguing. I wasn’t sure what the bad guy was up to so you wanted to keep reading to find out.

This is another wonderful addition to The Weekday Brides series featuring contemporary romance stories of heroes and heroines that are engaging and fun.

Meg Rosenthal is a matchmaker who works for Alliance, a company that sets up matches and marriages that make the public believe in an optical illusion. She is always looking for places her clients can get away from the prying eyes of the public and recently heard about an island off the Florida coast.

Sapore de Amore is owned by Valentino Masini, a wealthy man who prides himself on creating a beautiful oasis where people can enjoy themselves without the worry of being seen. His sister Gabi helps when needed and he dotes on her as most older brothers do. When Meg decided to check out the island, she convinces Michael Wolfe, the very famous actor to help her. Val screens all his guests before coming to his resort and when he questions Meg’s qualifications more than she feels is necessary, she is offended and they trade some snarky emails until he finally relents and accepts her, but by now she is pissed. This causes some fireworks when they first meet, which continue until they are faced with a dangerous situation, while they work together to find some answers, they realize that there is an attraction that is hard to deny.

What a delightful story with secrets and mysteries that will captivate you until the end. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series as we are not only treated to Meg’s story but we also get to read more about Michael, as his story continues.

I have liked Meg since we met her; she is down to earth, funny and determined to do right by her clients. When she finds a resort that has everything Alliance would look for in a private vacation spot, she wants to test it, so asks Michael if he wants to go. Unfortunately, the owner of the resort, Val and her get off on the wrong foot, setting up hilarious conversations that lead to flirting as their attraction is immediate and strong.

I adored Val, he is very protective over everyone and everything he holds dear. I love the way he acts toward his sister and mother, they have a great relationship. After exchanging several interesting emails with Meg, he is intrigued and goes to meet her in person, and the sparks fly. Their chemistry is electric as they spar back and forth sizzling the air around them and I love the two together, they make an amazing couple.

The pace is fast, as there is a lot going on, mysterious photos turn up causing Michael to panic, Gabi goes missing and someone is blackmailing Val. As the danger ramps up, the relationship between Val and Meg intensifies but what of their future as they live on opposite ends of the country, oh the choices they must make. Secondary characters play huge roles in this story, because as much as it is about Val and Meg, Michael gets a large part as his story continues from a previous book and Val’s sister Gabi has a pivotal role here. And although this is the sixth book in the series, it can easily be read as standalone, the author keeps the reader up to date without problems. A definite read for those that like a great romance with some suspense added in.

I am not sure how first stumbled across the Weekday Brides series, but I am glad I did and have enjoyed every book I have read so far.

And Seduced by Sunday is no exception.

I love this series about the women of Alliance and the men that steal their hearts.

First impressions are so important - and Meg's first impression is that Val is an ass. An ass he may be, but he is a hot and sexy ass!

And Meg is a pain in Val's arse - one that he can't stop thinking about.

Oh how I love this pair. From the minute they butt heads via email, I just knew that they were going to be fun and feisty, and things would be hot. Their attraction is instant, the sparks fly between them and come across as a bit combative, a little bit sasssy and smart-mouthy.

And behind it all you can feel the pull between them and you know it is not going to be long before things heat up.

There is a bit of mystery and intrigue thrown into the mix to, just to spice things up a little.

I loved that we got a bit more of each of the other ladies and gents from the Weekday Bride series. This rag tag bunch of friends are just wonderful, giving each other grief like only truly good friends can do. She has woven all their stories so seamlessly together, that each book in the series is like coming home to a big family reunion,

Though this is Meg's story, I was sooooo happy that Judy's brother Michael is getting some happy in his life.

But I have to say the one that stole the show whenever she was in a scene was Val's mum. She was that stereotypical Italian mother, completely invested in her kids lives, full of opinions and just great!

So, do Meg and Val get their HEA, or will things conspire against them and keep them apart?

Nope, you will have to read to find out for yourself.

Ms Bybee has created a series that you cannot help but love. Each and every book in the series just impresses me more and more. What am I ever going to do when this series ends??

One of the reasons I love reading Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides Series is because I get the romance I crave with an element of suspense that I love.

Margaret “Meg” Rosenthal is the newest matchmaker for Alliance. While attending the wedding of a client, she hears about the uber private island resort of Sapore di Amore, located in the Florida Keys. The resort is so private that in order to even become a guest, you have to be cleared by having a background check. Thinking this would be a great destination for future clients, Meg enlists the help of Hollywood superstar and heartthrob, Michael Wolfe. The two pose as a couple to see if the resort truly is as private and impenetrable as the owner, Valentino Masini says it is.

Valentino “Val” Masini has worked hard to take care of his family and establish a business exclusively for the rich and famous who want to enjoy a nice little getaway from prying eyes. Val doesn’t usually get involved with guests, but he is totally intrigued with the woman who politely refuses to be refused access to his resort.

What starts as a simple dinner and conversation sets off a chain of events Meg, Michael, and Val don’t see coming. Before the story ends Meg’s life will be threatened, Michael’s career could come to an end, Val could lose something more important than money, and Alliance will gain a new employee.

I’ve now read three of the six Weekday Brides books. I love the unwavering friendship the characters in this series have. These people will truly go to the ends of the earth and risk their life for each other.

I don't know how she does it but Catherine Bybee has written another wonderfully, fantastic book. Seduced by Sunday mixes the right amount of both romance and suspense. Catherine throws in surprises that you won’t see coming. From start to finish, this is a book you are not going to want to put down.

Love a little danger and intrigue mixed in with your romance and seduction? SEDUCED BY SUNDAY, the sixth book Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series is just what you are looking for. Bybee never fails to deliver a smoking hot and mysterious leading man to win the reluctant heart of the sassy and very independent heroine. Seduced by Sunday has the added charm of a smooth Italian lover who owns his own private resort island. Valentino, or Val, Masini is drool-worthy as he steals the heart of Margaret "Meg" Rosenthal, a matchmaker who avoids any thing to do with commitment in her own life. In her words, "I don't do sleepovers". His words, "One of us is going to be very disappointed". I'll leave it for you to read and see which of them it is.

Seduced by Sunday had just the right balance of humor, banter, romance, danger and mystery to keep me interested from the first page to the last. I loved Meg! She is a strong-willed, sharp-witted, take-charge kind of woman who wraps all that up with her femininity and classy sense of style. This knock-out of a woman kept Val guessing and on his toes. Definitely no pushover, but Val was the perfect man to slip under Meg's defenses and show her what a great team they make. Fans of the series will be glad to see Meg has enlisted Michael to help her research Val's resort as a possible destination for Alliance's client list and he makes good use of his time on the island for a little private time of his own.

Another excellent read that makes me even more eager for Val's sister Gabi's story in the last book of the Weekday Brides series, Treasured by Thursday. 4.5 stars

I just completed Seduced by Sunday, on a late Sunday evening, and I continue to enjoy this series. I have read each one, and had the good fortune of receiving an ARC from a Goodreads contest. This edition had the focus on Meg, Judy's best friend and roommate from college (the bride from Taken by Tuesday #5), and her efforts to secure a private getaway for her clients from Alliance. If like me, you have read the other books in this series, you know that Alliance is an agency that helps high profile clients find mates that are willing to enter into a contractual arrangement to help the clients image. It just so happens that one of their latest clients were "honeymooning" in an exclusive resort that offers complete privacy along with luxury, which is a great fit for potential getaways for prospective Alliance excusions. It is there that she meets the owner, Valentino Masini, who just happens to be gorgeous, successful, and sexy. As much as Meg tries not to fall for his charm, he begins to capture her attention with his smooth demeanor and poetic Itailian. This is just the surface of what Catherine has in store for the adventure ahead; it was skillfully done with just the right amount of danger and surprise, keeping the readers rapt attention, waiting to see what happens next.
Catherine is so clever in the way she weaves some drama and intrigue into each one of these Brides series. I think that what I loved seeing the most in #6 is Michael getting some happiness; it was actually nice getting some glimpses at all our previous Brides. I'm not sure if more Brides are in the future, but I would love to experience more, even if it is a sweet novella getting us caught up on all our couples, but Catherine, I would love to see Gabi find some happiness. Thank you for the signed ARC, and for the fun your stories bring.

"É um livro de gajas". "Não me parece a tua cara".

Excellently written, when reading The Weekday Bride series by Catherine Bybee, you definitely get more than a hot romance, you get a suspense thriller mystery instead. And Seduced by Sunday is no exception. This time around its Meg's turn, Alliance is definitely a matchmaking company for both clients and employees. Meg Rosenthal relishes her job at Alliance and is definitely not looking for her own romantic happily ever after. In fact she's avoiding it at all cost. But while researching in fantasy island type resort that makes sure privacy is the final word, she meets the quite handsome but reserve Valentino Masini. Val has built his island to cater to the rich and famous ensuring that what happens on the island stays on the island. He never envisioned someone like Meg and what he sees definitely makes him want. But this secluded hideaway hides its own secrets, one that will put everyones life and secrets in danger. And this is what I love about this series, I get the romance plus an adventure. Its so well written that its hard to stop reading to rest my eyes for like a second. Meg was a delightful character, initially introduced in Taken by Tuesday, she has definitely owned this book. She is gorgeous, independent and so alive that you definitely can see her as someone you probably knew or met before. Val is not your typical Italian hottie portrayed in most books. In fact he definitely exudes seriousness and straight laced factor uncommonly read. The pacing of the storyline was, as usual, excellently done. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and can't wait for the next and last (?) book.
