The Killigrew Street Case Files #3

Glitched Fates & Stolen Mates

How to accidentally on purpose stalk and traumatise your soulmate:

1. Hide behind wheelie bins like all proper predators do.
2. Stare through his window until he spots you.
3. Volunteer to teach him self-defence to protect him from his "stalker" (i.e., you).
4. Try not to spontaneously combust when you touch him during training.

Felix

Someone's been watching me for months.

As Killigrew Street's tech expert, I’ve hacked into enough systems to know we've made serious enemies—particularly since discovering Greywatch, a military unit exploiting supernatural soldiers. When I finally spot my stalker outside my flat, Kit—my brooding, cardigan-wearing older colleague—swoops in to investigate.

There's always been weird tension between us: strange looks, wordless tea deliveries. But when he offers self-defence lessons, I'm not complaining. Even if his proximity makes my hands shake for entirely different reasons.

My stalker better watch out, because Kit's teaching me exactly how to handle creeps like them.

Kit

I am the worst person alive.

Two years I've been pining for Felix—my brilliant, beautiful mate who doesn't even know what he is to me. Two years of watching him from afar, following him home, lurking outside his flat like some kind of sick freak.

Now he's noticed. He thinks some faceless enemy is hunting him. He's petrified.

And it's all my fault.

The mature thing would be to confess everything and quit Killigrew Street. Instead, I've convinced myself that teaching him self-defence will help. Because, apparently, my capacity for self-sabotage knows no bounds.

I should tell him the truth. I should walk away. I should definitely stop stealing his hoodies.

But with enemies from my shady military past circling, and Felix in real danger, walking away isn't an option. Even if staying means risking my heart.

Glitched Fates is the third in the Killigrew Street Case Files series, a collection of humorous MM PNRs centered around a found family of supernatural detectives. Each one is a standalone adventure following a different couple, but prior reading of Moonlit Nights (book two) is recommended for maximum enjoyment.

This book was everything I was expecting and more!!! I knew from the get go that Kit and Felix’s story was gonna be beautiful, and it blew all my expectations out of the wild. Felix’s character growth throughout this book was done so well and was one of my favorite things about him. And the way that Kit loves him so much and would do anything for him, ugh my heart.

Overall this book was such an amazing addition to this series and I absolutely cannot WAIT for book 4! (can we talk abt that ending reveal HELLO???)

thank you to the author for providing this arc!

As someone who is also *beyond awkward* and *shy* the secondhand embarrassment, awkwardness, and shyness between Kit and Felix is actually hilarious (and wholesome). These poor guys, someone get them some help! enjoyed their story so much. The Crew is back in this one, but the main focus is Felix and Kit, and the slow burn, burns, stalks, and hides in a lair! Make sure you just don't let Kits big tough guy act fool you, he will hunt you down and attack you with his precious babies (his 92,483 houseplants, and he knows their *full government names too*) none will ever *Top* Princess. Who quite literally becomes a main character Imao. Also Freddy is still here. 10/10. Kit and Felix's relationship is so soft and Kit takes so much extra care with Felix to make sure he's getting what he wants, when he wants, how he wants. Once Felix is over the shyness (and I'm not kidding he is so shy and will run away from human interaction, and humans in general the second he thinks it's coming his way, he also couldn't wait to get Kit into bed even Kit wanted to *wait* but Felix? No no.) Felix was *blown* by Kit- I, *ahem* | mean blown away by Kits *massive* di-splay of Wolf Size! He'd forgotten Kit was a brute of a wolf! Felix & Rory also form a much closer relationship in Glitched Fates and honestly I'm here for it, cause while Rory is my favorite (and most relatable) Felix is tied, as I'm literally both of them combined! The epilogue though? Hello? Excuse me? Just ending like that? If you want:
• Stalking•
•Stalking•
•Stalking•
•Plants•
•Shy Men•
•Pillow Princess. • && Not the Plant •
•Touch, Look, Think, Speak of and to him and die•
•Wheelie Bins•
•A stolen hoodie being slept with, possibly other things, the world may Then this is for you!
I cannot wait for book 4 and for the story we get for the *next two*, as per usual am super grateful that l've been around for forever now to Beta Read for TJ, and I cannot wait for all the new projects and help with them!

I know a book is going to be a 5 star read when I physically cannot bring myself to put it down, and this book had me in a chokehold from the very beginning. I have been interested in Felix and Kit since the very first book and I wasn’t prepared for how much I was going to love them. 🥺 They are so sweet and gentle with each other and I just can’t take it! Such a beautiful and hard fought HEA, those two deserve all the good things. As always I loved all the side characters and the found family aspects of the Killigrew street team! I’m really looking forward to seeing where this series goes in the future (especially with that ending!)

- 🌶️ medium spice

- THIS PAIRING IS THE MATCHUP OF MY DREAMS
- SELF SACRIFICING BEAUTIFULLY HAIRY MAN
- SWEET, ANXIOUS, BRILLIANT MAN
- A ONE SIDED MATE BOND
- DID YOU HEAR ME
- A ONE SIDED MATING BOONNNNNDDD
- ANGST THROUGH THE ROOF
- GORG love story
- just absolutely HOOKED
- scenting, and mating bonds, and wolfy licking
- undead ferrets, vampires, wolves, demons
- part 3 in a series
- fab pacing and plenty of page turning moments
- pleasure doooooooooom
- sexy shenanigans
- just poor anxiety ridden men who need to complete each other

This book. This SERIES. THIS AUTHOR. JUST GAAAAAHHHHHHHH.

This was absolutely insanely fabulous, my favorite read of the year, and just beautifully developed. I’ve loved the idea of these two since that Christmas short story, AND KNEW the pining level was going to be unmatched and I just KNEW THERE WOULD BE SOME FIRST CLASS ANGST. TJ DELIVERED. OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH HOW SHE DELIVERED.
The poor man is STALKING to try to appease his whining and tortured wolf, fighting his protective instincts to give his anxious lil mate the space he knows he needs, making every exchange painfully awkward, practicing lines in the mirror to make sure they’re not going to cause a flight response. To watch these two try to interact is not only hilariously entertaining, but it had my heart in my THROAT for poor Kit. I COULDNT GET ENOUGH.

I would love to say you couldn’t get a better pairing than Kit and Felix, but that would be doing the many, MANY, previous books I’ve read by this author where she has taken two impossible characters and made them soulmates by the end of their love story… an insane disservice.

I couldn’t get enough of this one, am ready for an immediate reread, and am absolutely FERAL for what’s next, and that cliffhanger?! WE ARENT READY FOR BOOK 4.

I loved this book so much, I’m utterly shattered that I finished it so quickly. Hands down, my favorite in the series.. and that’s saying a lot since book 1 was a top favorite of mine last year.

I cried a lot (big ol surprise there). Between Kit’s heartbreaking pining and longing from a distance (for over 2 years), and his utter love and devotion of Felix once they get together.. I just cried all the tears. I was just so gone over how much Kit cherished every single bit of Felix.

And Kit!! Poor Kit!! His past broke my heart, he’s .. ugh he’s … well he’s my newest book boyfriend is what he is. I love a grumbly grumpy man who is a secret softy and a hopeless romantic. I love his sweaters and his insistence at trying to fix the coffee pot. And how he got Felix those glasses and was just totally nerding out over how he looked in them.

And FELIX!!! Sweet baby nervous bean boy!! I absolutely adored getting to know him in this book. Being Demisexual myself, I totally related to him in the way he didn’t realize how he felt at first, when it came to Kit. I also loved getting to see the Felix when the nervousness and anxiety was stripped away and Kit finally got to experience all his smiles and giggles. And the little sassy and pouty moments that we got glimpses of made my heart sing.

This is a slow burn (not as slow burn as the others), but it really did not feel that way with how TJ wrote the multiple timelines. I felt like it was done so well, and I really enjoyed the back and forth. And Kits OPERATION FILES were hilarious and had me DYING. 🤣🤣🤣 and just made me love Kit so much more..

T.J. Rose has done it again! What a fantastic book this was. Can we really be surprised at this point? Honestly. Now, I’m going to be honest, I was hesitant about Kit during the first two books. He didn’t really win me over. And then I started reading. And I was sold. Just like that.

Glitched Fates & Stolen Mates is the third book in the amazing Killigrew Street Case Files series and it tells Kit and Felix’s story. Kit won my heart right away. The longing, the pining, the aching! Oh my god I hurt for him so bad. And Felix is just so sweet and amazing and awkward and adorable. Honestly, I just wanted to hug both of these guys. I adore them. Period.

The overarching plot continues on from the previous books, though you don’t necessarily need to have read them. But you should. For sure. Asap. Pretty please? The romance was swoony, the spice was intimate and intense in the best way, the tension was nailbitingly good, and I couldn’t stop reading once I started. I really truly love TJ’s writing so very much.

I’m so honored I got to beta read for TJ again and I really hope you’ll check out this amazing, wonderful book as soon as you can. And if you haven’t started this series yet, please do! For those that are eagerly awaiting this book already… I promise you it’s more than worth the wait. You don’t want to miss out on that ending, just saying.

ARC Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m not usually a stalker-romance girlie, but TJ Rose really said “trust me” and delivered. Kit, who could’ve easily come off as just creepy, is instead layered, sweet, and honestly… kind of pathetic (and I mean that with love). The fact that he’s been established as a good guy in the previous books REALLY helped out here and kept it from being too unhinged.

The timeline jumps through me for a second at the start, but once I locked in, I was LOCKED IN. And the payoff? Worth it. The relationship development is so soft and sweet that it almost feels unfair how cute they are, like, giggling and kicking my feet levels of adorable.

Also, the demisexual rep with Felix?? So well done. That feeling of everything being performative until it’s real with the right person was explained in a way that was so accurate to my own experiences and handled with enough care that I didn’t feel like it was an excuse to have an “innocent” character (I’ve seen that done way too many times with demi/ace characters and I’m SICKKKKK of it).

This one somehow felt even spicier than the previous books (maybe I’m just too invested now), and the dynamic is doing everything for me. And don’t even get me started on Killigrew Street! I’m not ready to let this world go. I need six seasons and a movie, immediately.

Once again, TJ Rose hits it out of the park. I love this series, with its ensemble cast of misfit supernatural characters and humans and this installment was no exception. I devoured Kit and Felix’s story (would have finished it the same day I started if not for that whole pesky “work” thing) . Is this a deep, dark character study, writhing in pain and heart-wrenching angst? Not at all… but that’s not what it’s meant to be. I mean, this is TJ Rose so the characters are very well-written, as always, and there is some angst, of course (this is romance, after all, with supernatural intrigue)… but that’s not what this series is about. It’s about the found family and fated mates of it all… friends working together and supporting one another, mates finding each other and either fighting or embracing the pull… it is a joyful, silly, and, at times, suspenseful romp with our Killigrew crew and it was exactly the fun and engaging read that I needed in this moment. I was worried that we may have reached the end of this series… until she threw a delightful curveball at us in the final pages. The teaser for the next book was everything… how dare you make me wait to read
the next story?! 🤣 Thank you to the author for supplying this ARC… my opinions are honest and my own.

This is an ARC review !!!
OMG this book got me so hooked 😩 I literally read it in two days 😭🙏🏼
I am so weak for a shy nerd and a sweet stalker combo 🫶🏽
This books was so full of:
-Pining and yearning
-Awkward moments
-Sweet and tender care
- Wolf mating stuff 👀
-The best HEA 🥺

Felix my baby is just so awkward and shy and Kit is so completely in love but also yearning for him over TWO YEARS 😭
I loved how progressive their relationship was, with so much tenderness and a lot of sweet gestures. I was kicking my feet so much 😩
The intimacy is pure softness and you can feel the need to just give everything for the other.
They complemented each other so perfectly , it was lovely to see how they found their place being together🥺

That cliffhanger though !!??!!?!! I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 i KNOW it is going to be so amazing !!

This series is one of my favourites paranormal romances ! The author really makes the reader feel everything and the story is so cute, funny and swoony 😩 I can’t stop recommending this !! ❤️

This is a honest review of an early copy 🫶🏽
Please read this series is amazing you would no regret it 🥺❤️

Kit accidentally starts stalking his mate Felix. Felix is a little skittish to start with and when he senses someone is following him he seeks help from Kit. What starts with a tentative courtship turns to soul defining binding. These two are so different yet so perfectly matched for one another. Was brillaint to see Kit and how he handles his side of what is at all happening with Killgrew Street Hotel team and its many choas gremlins. Felix absolutely adore his sweetness and awkwardness that just had its own way of balancing out these characters. Kit is taken back to where it all started falling apart and must face his past to be able to have the future he and Felix truly deserve. Having Felix help out in his unique tech brillant way was fun to show his chaos gremlins match with the rest of the team. With each addition of this series you delve deeper into this world and cannot help but need more to know what going to happen next.

In theory could read without having read previous installments but would miss out all the nuisances that make this series work so well.

Well, TJ Rose certainly hasn't let us down with this latest installment of life at the Killigrew Street Hotel.

Kit has to be one of the best carers I've read about in ages and Felix? Oh Felix is lovely. A nerdy, geeky person who goes above and beyond his fears once he realises Kit is in danger.

As always, TJ Rose writes books you can't stop reading (I've done nothing today but read). Her characters are so real, you can almost imagine walking past them when you visit the Fat Cat cafe for your dose of ambrosia - woops - coffee!

Although this is billed as a standalone, I would suggest starting with Bite Marks and Broken Hearts, just to get the background of the hotel and people involved.

After leaving us on a cliffhanger, I've now to wait months for the next installment! I'm not giving anything away, but you need to read this book. I'm going to have a good read of the first 2 books before immersing myself in this one again! Thanks TJ, another fabulous read.

I got a ARC copy and is writing a review as thanks.

I looked forward to this book so much after reading “Bite Marks & Broken Hearts” and “Moonlit Nights & Northern Lights”. Unfortunately for me I read the first books in the beginning of March so I had to wait 2 weeks for this ARC! (poor me. Haha.)

It was worth the wait and ten times more!

Kit and Felix are so adorable and I’ve wanted to see how they grow together and in their relationship since the first book and I was not disappointed! I love these guys!

I liked how the book time jumped, so the suspense of the story was there from the beginning and the look back at the past made it so I got lulled into a calm state (unless Kit was an awkward puppy) and then thrust into the thrill and uncertainty of how the characters would find a solution. I loved it! Well balanced and a very, very nice read!

This is the 3rd book in the Killigan Str. Hotel series which started with Bite Marks and Broken Hearts.

All of the books are wonderful but this series just gets better and better each book!

Felix is a computer genius working for a group of supernatural crime solvers. Think a very shy Garcia from Criminal Minds.

Kit is an ex-military member of the squad with a very complicated and troubled past.

Once he meets Felix he knows he is in big trouble. Too bad they are both so awkward around each other.

This book has it all, pining, sweet first times, stalking with the best intentions and even supernatural espionage.

I can’t recommend this book and this series enough.

This series just gets better and better with every book and is definitely going to be one of my all time favourites. The action and suspense are written incredibly well and balanced perfectly with the romance. I also just love being in this world with these characters, I’m honestly sad to leave it when I finish each book.

I was so not expecting grumpy, strong-and-silent Kit to be so adorably bumbling and awkward, but I loved every single goddamn second of it. These books are so funny, some of the “mission” chapters are genuinely hilarious. Priya’s meddling was 10/10, and had me laughing out loud.

And of course every single part of Felix and Kit’s relationship is insanely adorable. I love these two together so much. I need the next book right now.

Kit and Felix are precious, and need to be protected at all costs.

I was certain this was going to be a 4 star read because Im not usually a fan of converging timelines, but I think it really emphasized how hard faught their HEA was. Throughout it all they are so wholesome, and awkward. I cringed and I laughed, and I kicked my feet like a school girl. Watching Felix come out of his shell and reveal his personality was an absolute treat.

Also, I screamed at the end because I've called that reveal since the first book, and I'm giddily awaiting the 4th book.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC copy in exchange for my honest thoughts.

I picked up the first book in this series as my introduction to TJ Rose, and I’m so glad I did!

Now on book three, I can honestly say this series has been such a fun ride. If you’re into wolf mating bonds with some stalking you’re going to eat this up. 😊

This book hits that perfect balance of spicy, emotional, and genuinely fun. The chemistry is strong, the bond is obsessive in the best way, and it also has that adorable awkwardness and all the little moments that make mating bonds so good!

Kit and Felix! FINALLY!!

If this isn’t the definition of idiots to lovers I don’t know what is!! Especially Kit! 😂

His operation break downs were too good!!! Over thinking every step AND writing it all down. Even his failures!!! Amazingly Kit!

I mean. I can’t even discuss my favorite parts because of spoilers but Felix is a bad ass!!

And that ending.
How dare you make me wait!

Always a fun read! I love this series!!

Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to arc read this novel!!!

I have loved this series so much. Each book keeps getting better. Kit and Felix were perfect for each other. Kit had me tearing up multiple times. Always second guessing and overthinking. The pinning was perfection. Felix’s acceptance of them being mates at the end 👌👌 The only thing I could have asked for was a little scene with them at the tree. But that’s just me. I normally don’t care for past/present books but the way it’s written didn’t even faze me a bit.

This was SO lovely!!

If you've been enjoying the Killigrew Street crew thusfar, then you will absolutely not be disappointed with this. I loved both Kit and Felix, they were both awkward, ridiculous and totally tongue-tied half the time, and it only made me adore them more, both as a couple and apart.

Parts of their courtship might feel... a bit unusual, but, as Rory might say, "It's a wolf thing", and so any flags that might have been red if they were anyone else, were immediately forgiven. It helps that most of the time it was a case of Kit making an ass of himself instead of being a creeper. I laughed out loud more than once.

Kit is SO intense and extremely sexy, and Felix equal parts adorable and super competent, at his job - which plays a big part of the book's overall plot. I'm very happy that we've been able to see him do his thing on-page, as I think he deserves a bit of the spotlight (even if he wouldn't really want it).

There isn't a huge amount of spice in this one, but I thought it was more than enough and VERY good (omg), but most of all I enjoyed seeing how these two and their respective anxiety issues managed to work out an extremely sweet and sexy romance.

(P.S. Less Freddy in this one (boo), but when he shows up, it's HELLA memorable, that's for sure!!)
