The pacing is steady and approachable, allowing the ideas to unfold naturally. As the plot progresses, the author introduces enough unanswered questions to spark curiosity about what lies ahead, though I did find myself occasionally struggling to stay fully engaged.

I do not usually read Sci-fi novels, so I was a bit hesitant going into this book; however, I am so glad that I did. Michael has created a wonderful world and kept my interest throughout the entirety of the book. I had a difficult time understanding what was happening and getting attached to the characters during the beginning, but by the end I was all in.
