Mayo— AKA "Mahiru", the famous VTuber—is madly in love with his manager, Mr. Ogino! Now that they're dating and living together, their days are filled with sweetness... and plenty of spice.

With Mr. Ogino's support, Mayo is feeling less gloomy these days! He's taking care of himself, trying new things, and doing his best to open up to his colleagues! It helps that his boyfriend is there to encourage him at every turn, even if they have to keep their relationship a secret at work.

At Ogino's suggestion, Mayo decides to join Shining V's annual live SHINY FEST! It's Mayo's first time performing on stage, and with added pressure comes the familiar pang of self-doubt... But with Ogino and Takutsugu by his side, Mayo is determined to overcome his fear! And even if he stumbles, at least he won't be up there alone.

I’m simply head over heels for these two and I don’t care who knows it. It’s so refreshing to see mental health representation in manga and Noons & Midnights does it so well! I love how the author didn’t use Mayo’s relationship with Mr. Ogino as a magical cure all and showed how even with a wonderful support system, people who struggle can still have bad mental health days. Mr. Ogino is, of course, the greenest of flags and it’s so heart warming to watch him be so supportive of Mayo as he challenges himself with more work and social events outside his comfort zone.
.
Like the first, this volume is quite spicy but also incredibly sweet and has me hoping for more! The vtuber aspect is so fun and I’m OBSESSED with Luria’s art style - it’s gorgeous and dreamy, easily one of my favorites I’ve come across! Basically, Noons & Midnights has me looking like a giant heart eye emoji!!

Another banger of a manga! Wow!! I LOVE MAYO AND MR OGINO!!!!! Ohh this was so good, rly looked into the stressors of performing and making everyone happy. I’m so happy for everyone. Again, i dont care much for vtubers/streamers and i dont much about it, but i could understand clearly what was happening and all the hard work they go through!

ALSO ITS UNCENSORED YAAAHHOOOOO!!!!! We get to see dicks, balls and hole 🛐

*My Noons and Midnights Are for You, Vol. 2* continues Mayo and Mr. Ogino's relationship with a lovely balance of romantic sweetness, personal growth, and emotional challenges. Now that the couple is dating and living together, Mayo is beginning to experience greater happiness and confidence. Ogino's steady encouragement helps him take better care of himself, explore new experiences, and gradually become more comfortable connecting with the people around him. Their need to keep their relationship private at work adds another interesting dimension to their everyday life together.

Mayo's decision to participate in Shining V's annual SHINY FEST gives this volume an especially meaningful focus. Performing on stage for the first time is a major step for someone who still struggles with self-doubt, and the pressure brings back familiar fears. Having Ogino and Takutsugu supporting him makes the challenge feel less overwhelming and highlights the importance of having people who believe in you, especially when you find it difficult to believe in yourself.

With its combination of boys' love romance, workplace dynamics, VTuber culture, and heartfelt character development, this 234-page volume should appeal to readers who enjoy emotionally engaging manga. Mayo's journey toward confidence gives the romance added depth, while the couple's affectionate relationship provides plenty of warmth. The mature themes and content warnings, including references to depression and self-harm, are also worth noting for readers considering the book.

I think this continuation was a good addition to the series. It addresses the concerns that some readers had about Mayo and Ogino's relationship, such as the power imbalance and Mayo's masochism, but it doesn't water them down or get rid of those aspects in order to appeal to the vanilla audience's tastes.
I like that Mayo has a conflict outside of his relationship, and I like that he's continuing to grow as a person and gain more confidence! And I like that he's now aware of Ogino's possessive and jealous side ♡
I still really love Mayo and Ogino together, their relationship is really sweet and I still love both characters. I can't recommend this series enough!

This one does have smutty parts but I think this focuses more on the career and mental health aspects. When we start out Mayo is pushing himself further in his career and taking chances. Ogino is right by his side supporting him still and being his biggest cheerleader. Mayo, as one does with mental health issues, starts to feel overwhelmed and is affected by negative self and outside talk. Ogino is there for him and quickly makes sure that Mayo takes care of himself and priorities himself so he can achieve his goals.

I love this author I hope to see more translated by them in the future.

This was so cute and I love them both so much ❤️
I like that it shows the stressors of performers. Mayo starts struggling with the expectations he has for himself and others for his persona. It makes Mayo seem very relatable. I feel for him in so many aspects. And Ogino being there to support him is wholesome. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and I'm sad to see it over but the ride was delightful.

(got to read it bc it's already published in Germany)
It was a great continuation of the first volume! The couple is still so sweet, very good and realistic representation of mental illness and how to handle it when someone you love struggles mentally! I like how it's modern but not in a cringe way, also great smut lol
Made me want to get back into BL

Mayo and Mr. Ogino’s dynamic remind me of my boyfriend and I. Also Mr. Ogino is an older man and I kind of look like Mayo 😂 anyway, I love how Mr. Ogino cares for Mayo and treats him so gently. The scenes where Mr. Ogino helps him with his depression was so sweet. These books are so cute I want more!
