This was a short novella which packed a punch. It had interesting character development and an introduction to Detective Frank Gardner and Detective Joyce Powers - at the Idaho Falls Police Department. It is actually a prelude to Idaho Fall however both can stand alone. Although it was short I found it compelling reading to get to the end - which had another surprise. I was given this book by the author (Kindle version) and submit this as my honest review.

Detective Joyce Powers and Detective Hank are called out to the house of Brent Spencer who's shed was covered in graffiti with the sign "Wife Killer"
His step daughter believed the graffiti, but was she right?
A great twist to the story.

ha! Lovely to see how Hank meets Joyce - my favourite detective duo! The novella is a prequel to Idaho Fall and, as they say, it's tiny but mighty. The detectives are called to a home in the suburbs, and what they discover soon turns out to be a very unusual case that they must make sense of. I received the novella from the author, and this is my honest review. LOVED IT!

A quick little mystery that didn't at all go lie I thought it would. Just when it seems everything is resolved, something new pops up that turns everything upside down. It's a decent tale for one that's so short.

I really enjoyed this one! It was a quick, suspenseful read that kept me hooked from start to finish. Perfect for Halloween—fun, engaging, and full of moments that pulled me in. I’d definitely read it again, and the audio version was great!

This was not what I expected. It wasn't spooky or a horror story, it was more of a detective who do done it type story. I listened to it as an audio book and it was a quick short listen. I enjoyed it.

The person that said “legally speaking, it is a book alright” pretty much nailed the description. Like it wasn’t awful but it was in fact a book. I listened to it and there was an odd glitch at one point but otherwise it was decent I guess.
