Wow. This trilogy is so good. Just enough Norse mythology for a new soon on vampire vibes, meddling gods edition.
For Oath Bound, we continue Kjan and Eve's story with the ever present Kjartan. Eve continues her excellent character growth in this book and it's beautiful to watch. Reflecting on the series as a whole Eve is a quiet force. She plays no games and goes after what she wants. While insecurity shows up, she chooses to tackle it head on instead of cowering.
Kjan's devotion is second to none. While he might not always make the choices I'd prefer, I do enjoy his willingness to make up for his mistakes. Coughs in he's giving, ok?
Kjartan continues to bring surprises. Can we trust him? And with what? You'll have to read and find out.
New secrets, more meddling gods, and the conclusion of Kjan and Eve's story are waiting!
The author provided an arc of this re-release edition. Opinions are my own.
