I have learned more about life since becoming an author. Action and reaction, cause and effect. I have learned that everything has a lesson to be learned. A moral.
I wish I had learned these things, these valuable lessons, as a child.
Instead, they were learned later in life, during times when they couldn’t be undone. I had learned them the hard way.
Unfortunately, my book can’t be read to small children in order to teach them valuable lessons. Mothers and fathers can’t sit on the couch and read my words as bedtime stories full of life lessons.

The words in my book are my life lessons. Learned far too late and taught in the worst way imaginable. And there was no way I could go back in time. I would never be able to turn around and take it all away.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I loved this book. You also get a book inside of a book. As Sage writes the story we get to follow along on the journey that might possibly be her downfall. Most people are going to find it hard to like Sage and how she acts but as the pages turn, the plot takes a turn that I never saw coming. One minute I'm like, I can't stand this girl and hope she gets what she deserves. Then the next minute I'm actually feeling sorry for her.
Sage is a super witch. She uses everyone to her benefit and doesn't think twice about it. At least not until it backfires eventually for her. She creates a web of lies and never once thinks about the consequences that will occur. Writing a book to her is her ticket to hitting the big time and getting even more attention than she already gets and getting rich.She knows she's beautiful and perfect. At least that is what she keeps telling us. But her number one problem?? She can't even begin to figure out where to start on writing her book. So what better way than to use a friend's trust who is down on her luck and naive!
Sage lives a double life, the real one where she is Sage Roby who is a spanish teacher married to Tom who is boring in bed, works all the time and who she couldn't ever imagine having a kid with. Then there is Author S. Roby, aspiring author who is married to Keegen, who is hot, a sexual beast and making her biological clock tick, who she portrays herself as to her online world. We also get to meet another important character named Craig later on who I refuse to give anything away on :) The ending was a big suprise for me and I can't wait for the next book. So all I'm saying is go grab this book. You will be so glad that you did!!

I was sent an ARC for an honest review.
I have seen the name of the author in other reviews but not read anything by her so far, But I will be reading more of her work.
I had no idea what to expect or even what the story line was going to be!
I was pleasantly surprised to begin with the story line was very different to anything I have been reading and I was pulled in head first.
Sage is a very selfish person and I got to the point that I hoped she would get he come upance but then the tears followed it was a true love hate experience ....
I will be recommending to all my friends to read this amazing story.
Fab way to start my New Year reading list with what I would call a BEST SELLER !!! in more ways than one.

Wow, I loved this book it was so different to anything I have read before, just couldn't put it down
Sage, a wanna be author who lies,cheats and manipulates to get what she thinks she is entitled to with no consideration of the consequences of her actions. For most of the book I hated her and then bang, the ending, so unforeseen you actually feel sorry for her.
Looking forward to reading the next instalment to see where this story takes us.

I am not going into the complete storyline behind this. I will complete the review in book 2. I admit I started off thinking what the heck am I reading and was almost going to stop BUT something kept me going and I am glad I finished it.
this is very different storyline and the female character annoyed me - A LOT! but once I saw where this was going I had to finish it to find out what happens to her.
Absolutely crazy plot - Book 2 it going to be interesting.

WOW!!! HOLY MIND BLOW!!!!!!
This book is hard to put into words. Finally a change from what I have been reading and it brought me out of my book slum.
I could not put this book down. this deserves at the very least 5 stars for sure. At first it's like a bonus because you get two books in one. Let me explain.
Sage is an aspiring author. She finally decided to write a book but realizes she sucks at writing for the most part. She can't find or come up with a good plot until she makes the decision to use people. She steals ideas and uses them for herself without giving credit where credit is due. Bold face rip off with a few name changes or locations perhaps. So you get to read the story about Sage and the book Sage is writing. Genius!!! But the best part of this are all the twists and turns. And holy cow let's talk about descriptive steamy sex scenes. Lots and Lots! Hot! Hot! Hot!! The scenes were perfectly written and very tasteful considering Sage is a nasty, dirty, and let's not forget bad girl! I love the way Sage was put together and makes me wonder if what she felt/ her actions really do happen to/with some authors. Although Sage is a spoiled, snotty, rich b'@/# you will come to like her maybe love her, want to be her, and even feel sorry for her. I don't want to give out spoilers because I just don't think that will be fair to all the other readers.
My heart (among other things) was pounding with this book. My heart was pounding more during the last few chapters because it could have gone so many ways and not the way I would have guessed or thought but I suppose what goes around comes around.
There are so many things to take away from this book like Karma truly is a B!+@# and careful what decisions you make in life because it really does have a huge impact on your future. This book definitely took me out of my book slum. I could never find really good books!

Have you ever read a book and you wished you could give it more than 5 stars??? Well that is the way I feel about this book!! When I found out Leddy and Marlo were writing a book together I could not wait to read it. Then after reading the blurb I knew I had to read this book. This book has been stuck with me for days and I could not wait for more people to finish so I could have someone to talk to about it with. So when I first went into the book I was expecting just a story about an author and her book but that is not at all what happens. Yes of course Sage is an author and of course we know she is trying to make a career in writing but what I wasn’t expecting was the huge twists and turns her life takes in order to get there. So to say I hated Sage is a complete understatement, I honestly despised this woman. The way she talks about herself being beautiful and having this perfect life made me sick to my stomach! There were several times I wanted to reach through my kindle and grab her around the neck and chock her a few times well honestly majority of the book. So when the story starts Sage is perfect .. not really but in her eyes.. and she is a Spanish teacher and married to a man named Tom and also trying to make it as a writer but should never have become a writer because she couldn’t even write a story. She meets up with her high school best friend Missy and that’s when the story takes its first turn. Sage has to steal Missy’s ideas in order to even write her book. Sage has built this perfect life on facebook and posting pictures of how amazing she is but it’s completely a lie. I actually laughed several times during this book because I image some authors do this. I bet they post tons of pictures and make it out like their lives are perfect but it’s a complete lie. That is why I related to this story so much because being a reader, reviewer, and blogger I could see this actually happening. I don’t want to give too much away but we also meet two other guys which are Craig and Keegan. These two also play major parts in Sage’s life and it was amazing when pieces started falling together. There were several times in this book my mouth was literally hanging open because I never say the twists coming. The ending made me scream at my kindle!!!! In a way I felt bad for Sage at the ending but also feel like she deserved the karma. I highly recommend this book. It was fantastic and I look forward to the next book ladies. Job well done!!!

To make believable and realistic characters and storylines, creating something unique to entice your readers and to keep them interested, to grip them and draw them in with your stories. What happens if you don’t have those stories rolling around your head, waiting to be told?
Sage Roby loves to read to escape her boring life. A school teacher married to a man who thinks his job is more important than his wife. Sage has high aspirations to become an author. She wants the fame and fortune that comes with being the next New York Times bestseller.
Only problem for Sage is she has no stories floating in her head to tell, she has no ideas of her own, and her stories come to be told by using and manipulating others for her own personal gain. Taking ideas and stories friends have told her.
Sage has invented herself an alter ego, Author S Roby and, S Roby’s life is full of fun laughter and a hot guy who is most definitely not her husband. Her online life where she is adored by her fans and leads her own make believe world.
After a lifetime built of lies, deceit and manipulation how can anybody know when Sage is actually telling the truth? She has weaved such a web and now she is trapped inside with no escape. As her world collapse beneath her the only thing left to do is face the consequences and accept her fate.
This is my first book from both these authors and such an ingenious idea. I disliked Sage’s character and thought that she was a self-centred conceited bi**h, that doesn’t mean to say that I didn’t feel sorry for her towards the end and unexpected turn of events. I’m eager for this story to continue and find out what happens to Sage next.

I'm intrigued. It's like a puzzle waiting to be solved. I can't tell which story is the lie or the truth. Both stories have a little truth and fabrication to them. Daydreaming about a better life could be the fantasy. I believe three stories are being told simultaneously together. We have the story of Ben and Sara. We have the story about Ms. Roby the teacher who is unsatisfied in her marriage. Then we have the teacher who is creating a new fantasy of sex with Keegan.
The story is about Sage living a double life and sharing her story or stories. I think Sara/Sage is psychotic. I believe she has a split personality. The real life and the fabricated life are blending together. Sage leads the life of an alter ego. The lives become blended together. Sage is caught up in her own lies. Karma is a bitch and I have a feeling Missy is quite aware of Sage's deceitfulness. Sage is having a meltdown.
PARANOID. DELUSIONAL. Are just a few words to describe Sage.

I really love it when two authors come together AND actually give each other credit (lol-you'll understand this laugh when you read the book)..if you know one or the other's style you can see it come alive and how the other compliments them perfectly. This one was the perfect example of just that.
I couldn't put it down...I had to pay close attention in the beginning because it's literally a story within a story where a writer is seeking "help" with her book because she simply can't come up with the material for a best seller alone. Little did she know her dirty little secrets and lies would come back to bite her.
Just goes to show lying to get ahead never works and will always finds you at rock bottom........will justice be served to others, is there life after living a double life for so long?!?!? Only time will tell.........
That's all I going to give away...you MUST read this one!!! I can't wait to get my hands on book two...literally I was messaging one of the authors and saying NOOOOO my mind is racing with unanswered questions.

~4.5~ This book kept me captivated from the beginning to the end. I stayed up all freaking night & early morning to finish it. The concept of this book was original. The writing was pretty great. The heroine was (IMO) a self-center lying manipulating whorebag. I really didn't like her very much but as her story begin to unfold. I begin to tolerate her just a little.
The guys in this book. Tom, Keegen, & Craig were pretty damn amazing to Sage. All loved her without their blinders on & she so did not deserve any of them.
The ending surprised the hell out of me. I was thinking karma's a bitch & then I did feel bad for her towards the end. The authors did an amazing job & I cannot wait till the next book!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. WOW, what a story! I thought Sage was an absolute narcissistic witch at the beginning and hated her haha! This story has many twists and turns and I loved it! I can't wait for book 2! I never like saying too much in reviews because I feel like I'm going to give something away and I hate that myself reading reviews. I loved Leddy Harper's other books too so I knew this wouldn't disappoint! Take a chance on this one for sure, you won't regret it!

I loved this book from the beginning. Right from the start I wasn't sure if I liked sage or not...and honestly I still not sure. Sage is a very selfish person and only does what makes her happy. I won't go into much cause I want people to buy this and find out what I mean! I definitely would recommend buying this and I know everyone will love it! What are you waiting for??

g this book sucked me in from the start . Love a good page turner and this is a great one . Leddy and Marlo did an amazing job bringing each of these characters to life for me and wanting more now . This is a book that grabbed me and didn't let me go start to finish and left me saying give me more now . Hats off to these two authors for a brilliant book. Looking forward to the next one .

this is a story within a story. What a tangled web we weave ....Sage, well sorry you had it coming no spoilers but well played! You know when your reading and that feeling hits you in your stomach yes this was the entire book. Loved it! I kept saying omg no way I KNEW IT. yes it's that book and you now must go read this book. I'm still saying wtf Damn well done.

Wow! This is truly a story of tangled webs and karma. The heroine in this book was one of the most screwed up characters I think I have ever encountered. Great story - I devoured it. Very fresh and so original! I can't wait for the next one!

Plagiarized is the very first book that I have read from both Leddy Harper and Marlo Williams. A friend on mine is a huge fan and told me to check this book out and I read the description and thought to myself, I have to read this! I loved every single minute of it, and of course was not a fan of the main character.

She is married and is very shallow, conceited, and just a money hungry person who knows she is beautiful and uses it to her advantage to get what she wants.She is just not a very good person, in my opinion. She has a good "friend", I say this lightly because the way she treats her "friend" Missy, is not the way you would treat someone who is your friend. Without giving away too many details, Sage is a fake, phony, and liar, she basically steals her "friends" idea for a book. Has the help of her, as well as her editor. Which of course is no where at all in the book, she doesn't even thank them for their help.We get a glimpse at the story she is writing and of course she has no idea, but it will be her undoing!

Where do I begin????
Ying and Yang: Yin and Yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts.
So Marlo and Leddy are Yin and Yang. They complemented each other and their writing perfectly. I wish I could give Plagiarized more than 5 stars but since there is not an option to color in 10 + stars my word will have to do.
This is definitely not like Leddy’s other books and I haven’t had the pleasure of reading Marlo’s books but HOT DAMN…. Ladies you rocked it.
I hope you like Suspenseful Erotica’s because that is what you will get with this read. I read it on New Year’s Day. (Thank goodness for having the holiday off) I knew after the first few pages that I wasn’t going to be able to put it down so I played sick which allowed me to stay cuddled in my bed and no one bothered me. When I had to go to dinner I had 2 chapters left. I pouted like a 5 year old because I have to go and even more like a 2 year old when I was told my phone couldn’t be at the table. Ugg. Talk about the longest dinner ever. I needed to finish my book.
Sage is a selfish bitch who only thinks of herself. She uses everyone in her life for her own benefit. Her childhood friend Missy moves back home after her divorce and all Sage sees is how befriending Missy again can make her a successful author. You think you feel bad for Missy? Just wait for the bomb to drop.
Leddy and Marlo gave us everything we look for in a 5 star book. Lies, sex, (hot steamy sex) lust, love and deception…. Lots and lots of deception.
I definitely started 2015 off with the right book.

This is definitely not like Leddy’s other books and I haven’t had the pleasure of reading Marlo’s books but HOT DAMN…. Ladies you rocked it.
I hope you like Suspenseful Erotica’s because that is what you will get with this read. I read it on New Year’s Day. (Thank goodness for having the holiday off) I knew after the first few pages that I wasn’t going to be able to put it down so I played sick which allowed me to stay cuddled in my bed and no one bothered me. When I had to go to dinner I had 2 chapters left. I pouted like a 5 year old because I have to go and even more like a 2 year old when I was told my phone couldn’t be at the table. Ugg. Talk about the longest dinner ever. I needed to finish my book.
Sage is a selfish bitch who only thinks of herself. She uses everyone in her life for her own benefit. Her childhood friend Missy moves back home after her divorce and all Sage sees is how befriending Missy again can make her a successful author. You think you feel bad for Missy? Just wait for the bomb to drop.
Leddy and Marlo gave us everything we look for in a 5 star book. Lies, sex, (hot steamy sex) lust, love and deception…. Lots and lots of deception.
I definitely started 2015 off with the right book.

I received this book from Leddy Harper in exchange for an honest review
This book is very unique in that there are four stories and personalities being portrayed in this story. We have the story of Ben and Sara that Sage has created from both her life and that she plagiarized from her “friend”. We also get a glimpse into Sage’s author personality that she completely fabricates-her dream life. We have the story about Mrs. Roby and her husband Tom, who she is unhappy and disgusted with so she cheats and spends his money like a lunatic. Then we have the teacher Mrs. Roby, who is having an affair with her student, to which his mom seems to be totally fine with.
For about the first half of the book I strongly disliked it. I couldn’t connect with any characters; the details seemed over exaggerated to make us hate Sage. The characters all came off as two dimensional and I was being told a story instead of shown. I almost didn’t finish reading because frankly I was bored. BUT when the drama started to unfold is when the characters really started to pop for me. I was drawn in by how details were coming together, and loving that karma was indeed a bitch.
Please note this is not a sappy love story and the sex scenes are hot!
By the end of the story I was even sympathetic towards Sage and hope that she has seriously learned from her lies and cheating ways. I am very interested in book 2, I hope we get more of a glimpse on what happened during her time on the inside!

I really love it when two authors come together AND actually give each other credit (lol-you'll understand this laugh when you read the book)..if you know one or the other's style you can see it come alive and how the other compliments them perfectly. This one was the perfect example of just that.
I couldn't put it down...I had to pay close attention in the beginning because it's literally a story within a story where a writer is seeking "help" with her book because she simply can't come up with the material for a best seller alone. Little did she know her dirty little secrets and lies would come back to bite her.
Just goes to show lying to get ahead never works and will always finds you at rock bottom........will justice be served to others, is there life after living a double life for so long?!?!? Only time will tell.........
That's all I going to give away...you MUST read this one!!! I can't wait to get my hands on book two...literally I was messaging one of the authors and saying NOOOOO my mind is racing with unanswered questions.

This is an incredible book. As an author I understood some of the craziness Sage felt. As a reader this book had a lot of twists and turns I didn't see coming. Thank you Marlo, Leddy, and Kristen for this amazing book.

I'm crazy about this book..... How they ever came up with this story , It's f'ing awesome..... It's an unbelievable story.....I'm a girl fan of Leddy & Marlo...& will follow them...10 plus star...
