Same Road, Different Paths

Rate this book
The Wonder Years, Forrest Gump, Yellowstone, Daisy Jones & the Six, and Adventures in Paradise all rolled into one amazingly true-life adventure.

Based on a journal the author began keeping in his teens —SAME ROAD, DIFFERENT PATHS – is a novel written in real time that will take you on a journey from once upon a time in America to right now – along the hitchhiking across the Great American Southwest, living at a Navajo Indian reservation, rodeo cowboys, California’s music scene, falling in & out of love, sailing to tropical islands, and other life-changing escapades.

Told with honesty and emotional depth, this coming of age/adventure novel reminds us that while the paths we take may diverge, the road home is always within reach.

A captivating coming of age story that those of us who experienced the late sixties will relate too. But this novel is more than just insightful recounting of familiar events - it is a true adventure saga where finding oneself means traversing the country and the open sea, exploring lifestyles and identities and always reaching for connection. The protagonist is semi autobiographical, perhaps a modern day Jack Kerouac? I couldn’t wait to turn the pages to find out what happens next!
