Aimed at UK residents, with a focus on late-in-life wealth management and structures for tax optimization and inheritance planning. Much of the second half of the book focuses on U.K.-specific structures. The first half with its focus on investment is convoluted, without much inspiration, guidance, or insight. Some information is plainly wrong, such as presenting market beta as non-diversifiable risk (the role of beta is to allow diversification) and ‘value’ stocks as being riskier than ‘growth’ stocks (a statement the book disproves in the same chapter).

excellent throughout introduction about wealth management

Give an excellent throughout introduction about wealth management, including tax relief, investment, lifestyle and charity contributions. It suits more for richer people.

This book is a solid guide for people who have accrued an amount of money and wish to take steps to ensure it is not diminished through risk, loss and taxation. It is targeted at those with some investment experience, but are not fully versed on the complexities of taxation and more complex investment strategies.

The author has significant experience in dealing with high net worth individuals; providing individual recommendations on strategies for long term capital preservation with moderate growth at minimal risk.

There are significant chapters dedicated to retirement, pensions, annuities, inheritance tax, trusts and similar vehicles. This makes the book very well suited to older investors who's primary goals are a comfortable retirement and wishing the maximise the amount of wealth they will pass on by limiting exposure to tax and risk.

I found it interesting, informative and well written with a number of guides, plans and steps to take for different situations.

I would highly recommend anyone reading this book to read The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham, a legendary investor who heavily influences Warren Buffet and provides great detail on investing with minimal risk from experience of trading in periods of depression and recession.
