That’s what EL Koslo strives to do in her life every day. She spent her youth with her nose in a book, often conjuring up storylines in a composition notebook she hid under her mattress. Her love of writing continued on through high school as she served on the school paper and wrote poetry for the literary magazine.
At University, she studied Art and Art History where she met her own prince charming after kissing a few frogs, of course.
Her love of reading and writing have been a constant in her life with her nose always buried in a book, tablet, or computer—both writing and reading.
She resides in the Midwest United States with her husband and four rambunctious children. Her days are filled with driving kids to school, activities, and sports; frequently squeezing writing time in while waiting in the carpool line.
Koslo’s characters are often developed while running on the treadmill at the gym, and she has a DVR full of Hallmark movies.
Her debut novel, Foreplay on Words, combines her love of steamy romance, awkward but loveable leading males, and headstrong heroines with a dash of humor and a little bit of kink.

Accidental Abduction is a spicy, mistaken identity, best friends brother romance. I listened to the audio version of the story and honestly, audio is the best way to go. The narration adds energy, humor, and an extra layer of chemistry that elevates the entire plot. I've never listened to anything by these narrators before but I loved their voices and am adding them to my list of must listen narrators.
The story follows Hudson, who’s been in a four-year relationship with Vivian—until she suddenly decides she needs “space.” Bored and unsure about their future, she wants to explore her options while Hudson waits in limbo. Determined to remind her of the spark they once had, Hudson devises a bold plan: he’ll whisk her away for a romantic weekend. With his bar hosting a masked party, the opportunity feels perfect… until he realizes he’s abducted the wrong woman.
Enter Charley—his little sister’s best friend, the girl who’s had a crush on him since she was ten, and someone who definitely doesn’t seem upset about the mix-up. Their chemistry ignites quickly, and from there, the story becomes a delightful blend of tension, humor, and heat.
Hudson is the perfect sweet cinnamon roll with a dom spirit, while Charley is a strong FMC who knows what and who she wants.
The writing is clean, quick, and incredibly enjoyable. The pacing never drags, and the spicy moments are handled with just the right balance of intensity and playfulness. It’s a fun, engaging listen that delivers exactly what it promises: a steamy, mistaken-identity romance that’s both satisfying and addictive.
I loved the premise, the execution, and the chemistry between the leads. The pieces we got of Hazel and Reid have me desperate for the next book in audio!

Well fuck me sideways, E.L knew what she was doing with their story, she definitely brought the heat into this book. Like damn girl she was not playing around with this one! That's one thing you can't say about her books that they are dull or boring. I love her books, and this one is by far my favourite! Charley and Hudson's story is off the charts hot 🥵 i loved reading every sexy, steamy moment of it. It's action packed and takes you on a crazy ride! I loved the characters, side characters, but I fucking hated Viv, one spoiled ass bitch! I can't wait to read more in this series, I really hope she brings out a story with his best friend Reid and his sister hazel.! Even better if they get together! Highly recommend!

One that he doesn't realise until further down that he's miserable in. Hazel, Reid and Charley hate her, and I'm right there with them! She wants to talk and tells him things and then says let's see other people. So he decides to follower throu with her plan off being masked etc at the bars Halloween party. But it turns out chasing the girl through the wood, wasn't who he thought it was , but it was so right! And the both off them are explosive together, unlocking things that was hidden for so long. Will they just share a weekend together? Or will they have a hea ? Grab and find out!

Accidental Abduction is a spicy, mistaken identity, best friends brother romance. I listened to the audio version of the story and honestly, audio is the best way to go. The narrators did a phenomenal job! Theodore Zephyr has a voice that will make you feel things. It's that deep, grovelly tone mixed with the intensity. And Madison Mitts has a giggle I can listen to all day. One of the most adorable giggles I've heard! Their chemistry together in this story was fantastic. They really brought the characters to life. Personally, I found their tone to be a little too intense during some calmer parts of the story, but that is literally the only thing that I slightly disliked.
As for the story, I was hooked. Hudson has been dating Vivian for 4 years now, but all of a sudden she wants some space. She's become bored with the way things are int he relationship and would like to see what her options are while Hudson waits for her to decide. This was such a fun and engaging read packed with chemistry, friendship, and laugh-out-loud moments. I found myself genuinely laughing as the story kept me hooked with its perfect blend of humor, swoon-worthy chemistry, and heartfelt scenes. Charley and Hudson were absolutely adorable, and the fact that the MMC had feelings for the FMC but tried to fight them because she was his sister’s best friend made it even more irresistible. Their witty banter was a highlight, and I loved how open, real, and vulnerable they were with each other. It added so much depth to their connection.
Illicit Illustration was actually the first book I listened to/read, even though it’s the second in the series. After finishing it, I went back and listened to Accidental Abduction, and I’m so glad I did. E.L. Koslo, I cannot wait to dive into the final book in the series.
And can we talk about the duet narration? Madison Mitts and Theodore Zephyr made the experience incredibly immersive and absolutely nailed Accidental Abduction. Phenomenal performances all around!

This was my first book/audio by by this author and this was so much fun and spicy! Hudson (30) was the greenest flag and I loved him so much. He really brought the masked dominant energy with his planned primal Halloween night 🔥 that ends up being mistaken identity that turns out to be the best thing. If you enjoy the sisters best friend who is also your employee and secretly have had hidden feelings you will enjoy this. I really enjoyed Charley’s (25) energy take no crap badass FMC.
Narrated by 🎙️Theodore Zephyr & 🎙️Madison Mitts. They both need such an amazing job. Theodore had the perfect voice with the effects to go along with what was going on and gravelly 🥵. Madison brings the perfect energy for Charley.

This read was really hot from the very beginning. I loved the duet performance by Theodore Zephyr & Maddison Mitts. More books should be like this. I fell for Hudson’s voice. And Charlie’s voice really fit her character too.I liked that they both did sexy things they wouldn’t normally do with other people, how Hudson was all about consent, and the support from their friends, especially with Hudson’s crazy ex. We get a lot of the cliches you find in romance books but I enjoyed them and this was one of my first masked MMCs. Charlie and Hudson took a minute to realize their undeniable connection and it just took an accidental abduction to finally break the tension between them.

I listened to the audiobook and was pleasantly surprised. This story is about a grumpy bar owner who is dating a woman who wants to break up with him because he’s not passionate enough or pays her enough attention in her mind. It’s also about his sisters best friend who has loved him forever but never said anything. It is a great Halloween read and deliciously spicy. I couldn’t stop listening. Halloween is perfect for mistaken identity! Just know that Viv can go fly! This was my first E.L. Koslo book but it won’t be my last!
