From page one, this book hooked me.

Azrael? Oh, he is the jerk of all jerks when we first meet him. Vicious, violent, and a presence so commanding it makes people bow and cower. He hates her, or so he says. Yet once he finally stops fighting who he truly is, you can’t help but think: who wouldn’t want a man whose longing and yearning could level kingdoms? No one has ever loved with the depth and ferocity that he loves her. Honestly… bless.
Their dynamic is addictive. She’s powerful, sassy, and a complete force to be reckoned with. He’s the monster everyone fears, except, somehow, her safe place. The tension is delicious.
The story flows easily and stays gripping from start to finish. Sure, some dialogue leans a little over-the-top, but I was fully in and loving every second. And the spice? It sizzles. Snaps. Bursts into flames — literally 😏. I devoured it.
This book was a blast: a roller coaster of emotions, magic, danger, and heat. I licked up every morsel and still wanted more.

Oh man! When I tell you this was *chefs kiss*! From the beginning Azrael was like "MINE" lol but this had the perfect amount of spice, betrayed, twists (cause hold up shes what? Iykyk) , the bond her and Luna had was so wholesome. What made it better was Daddy Azrael also being understanding how important she was to her. I hadn't read a fantasy book in quite a while but im glad I read this one, although imo they gotta lock me in as good as this one did or it might not be good 🤣😗

Read this as an ARC, and THANK YOU J.S. Rodriguez for bringing this into my life! I was obsessed as soon as I started. Having such a powerful FMC to grow with made me connect with the book in more ways than I could count. And the last paragraph? No spoilers, but let’s just say Bella is absolutely right 😉

I am so glad to have stumbled across J.S. Rodriguez when I read Sinful Desires (A MUST READ), and I immediately fell in love with her storytelling, her word building, and the complexity and depth of her characters. That being said, I fucking loved this book. I did not want this book to end. I have an unhealthy obsession with Bella & Azrael, the two bad ass main characters in this book. I was instantly swept up in the fated mates and their intoxicating, possessive, and explosive chemistry. If you love magic, the supernatural, and spicy AF scenes that will have you fanning yourself and re-reading every passage -- then this is made for you. I highly recommend.

I recently finished an ARC of *Wicked Little Witch* by J.S. Rodriguez, and I was completely captivated from the very first chapters. The chemistry between the characters, especially their playful banter, was incredibly engaging—I couldn’t put it down!
Arazel and Isabella’s relationship had me on the edge of my seat; their bond as mates is powerful, and Arazel’s determination to protect her is truly touching. The story takes some intense turns when Isabella is kidnapped three times, and each time, Arazel swoops in to save her. It’s heartwarming to see how his family embraces her, especially as she fully transitions into a vampire.
The blend of romance and suspense, not to mention the fiery moments, made this book an absolute delight. I’m giving it a solid five stars! I highly recommend checking it out when it releases on November 30th—you definitely won’t be disappointed!

❤️ World Building: I loved the world building in this book, it was rich and descriptive and really brought you into the story. I loved how the author went in to things like where humans go and how how it’s separate from where all the supernatural people hang out.
❤️ The Characters: Bella and Azrael are wonderful MCs, but I also loved the side characters, especially Azrael's family! That was a dynamic I haven’t seen much in books, and I really appreciated it. They are all splendidly written, with back stories, secrets, and individual personalities. Bella has had the world on her shoulders and doesn’t have time for all the bullshit life is throwing at her. Azrael hates her so much that he can just be a downright bully to her, but he is just fighting himself…not that that excuses the bullying, cuz it doesn’t.
❤️ The Story: This was an unputdownable book! The story was captivating and imaginative. I loved the ebb and flow of it. I found it to be a unique story that was refreshing. It was honestly moving, how each family is so devoted to each other. The sisters of the MCs are especially fun to read about. There are a lot of twists and turns and kidnappings, though I don’t know how anyone could sleep through being kidnapped. 😆
❤️🔥Overall: What an amazing ride this book was. I highly recommend it, if you’re ok with a little roughness, please check the trigger warnings.

I’ll be honest, this was so far outside of my usual reading comfort zone, and yet, I couldn't put it down! I tend to stay away from stories with this level of spice (or pretty much anything deemed spicy), but I’m so glad I gave Wicked Little Witch a chance because the story is absolutely amazing! From the very first chapter, it was fast-paced, full of energy, and had this dark, addictive pull.
JS Rodriguez balances the heat with genuine emotion and clever world-building, which surprised me in the best possible way! The plot was surprisingly deep and well-crafted, and even when things got extra hot, the story itself never loses focus. The characters were layered and dangerous. I couldn't help but love to hate and hate that I loved Azrael!
If you love a dark, seductive read with a solid storyline and unforgettable characters, this one’s for you. And if you’re like me and usually skip the spicier stuff, trust me—this one will prove that when the storytelling is this strong, it’s worth stepping outside your usual genres. 🖤✨

Bella’s sass had me laughing more than once, and I loved that Azrael — no matter how dark and intimidating he seemed — somehow only tolerated it from her. Their dynamic was addictive to read, full of tension, snark, and heat! 🔥
That being said, Azrael did feel too obsessive at times — to the point where Bella could barely leave the house, which made me a bit uncomfortable. There are also several trigger warnings (including SA) that readers should be aware of before diving in. 🙃
Despite that, the story kept me hooked from start to finish. It’s dark, emotional, and intense — the perfect read for anyone who loves romantasy with a dangerous edge and a dash of wicked heat. 🖤✨

This book falls firmly into the dark romance genre (adding witches and vampires into the mix), and while it delivers intensity in certain parts, it didn’t completely win me over. The FMC must deal with a situation (twice), which felt repetitive, and I would have preferred if the outcome (that I did not particularly enjoy) wasn’t glossed over so quickly. The mate story arc seemed overused and, in my opinion, wasn’t necessary here.
On the positive side, I really enjoyed many of the side characters, especially the sisterly bond, which added warmth to the otherwise heavy tone. The writing style makes it easy to read, and I found the first part much stronger than the second. Overall, I liked the book but didn’t love it. The only reason its not a full 5 stars for me is how much Azrael and Bella fought and made up. It was exhausting. Same issues over and over again. Other than that, I adored everything else about the book! It was so long and even though I felt the length, it was so good. I was so engaged thinking what the heck was going to happen next. The resolution was a bit anticlimactic but it was still so good. I love finding out who Bella's family truly is and why she's so different. It makes so much sense. Azrael isn't my favorite MMC because Darren was so 🥵🥵🥵 Azrael has a lot of issues I think he still needs to work on. If it was any other FMC, they wouldn't have survived him. Bella is so strong but also doesn't take crap from Azrael or even the king. Her strength is incredible but her kindness and compassion is what truly shines. She's the perfect Queen and I think she'll do well. I wish there had been like a 10 years later to see how everyone is doing but I love how it ended. I want Stella and Luna's story. I think they both would have interesting stories to tell.

ARC reader here. This is a very fun read with a very interesting world. The mix of magic, the different factions, the tension. Where it loses me, it can be a little bit repetitive at times. Some of the dialogue between characters doesn't feel very realistic at times. There are some plot things that come up that just don't go anywhere. If you have any issues with darker themes and male characters who don't listen when female characters say no, this isn't the read for you.
I did enjoy reading this, but it was very much a don't think too hard and just enjoy the ride kinda read.
If you are looking for a fun read between dense series and like dark romantacy, I would definitely suggest giving this a read

loved it !! a great start for this new series !! love, love, love Bella and Azrael... this is their love/hate story.. a fun fast paced action packed rom/com drama... wicked !!! Bella and her sister Luna are on the run after their mother died... she will do everything to protect her sister... Azrael helped her and now, has a debt owed... he's obsessed with her... love/hate.... and she hates him as well.. maybe... this is so good !!!!.

This book is a fast-paced dark paranormal romance and I couldn’t get enough! I finished the book in less than 24 hours because I just couldn’t put it down.
I loved that Azrael and Isabella didn’t fall into the typical insta - love of mates that often happen in these type of books.
I also loved the pacing and so many conflicts and resolutions, and so may twist and turns that I wasn’t expecting. It kept me on my toes and I loved it!

This book is AMAZING! The beginning throws you into a crazy situation and keeps your attention! The angst is palpable between the FMC (Isabella) and the MMC (Azrael). He wants to hate her soooo much!!! I love how much Bella loves her sister and will literally do anything to keep her safe. Vampire daddy swoon!!! This book is truly amazing. There is the perfect spice mixed in as well. Sooooo good!!! Check the triggers as there are some dark subjects!

The plot was intriguing and well paced. World building was fascinating and solidly drawn. The characters were so very appealing and likeable and complex and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Bella is so freaking strong. Running from her father and just trying to survive everyday for years, trying to keep her & her sister safe.
And everything that kept happening was awful.
She is Strong, sassy & literally full of fire. 😂😂
Azrael was a huge d-bag in the beginning but he changed his tune quickly after he stopped being so darn stubborn. 😆 His darkness is delicious. 😂😏
The spice was very niiice. 🥵 And excellent ending! 🔥

From starting this book i could not put it down it is so good so addictive. I love the banter between Bella and Azriel. This book is enemy’s to lovers fated mates touch her and die. This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The spice in the book is amazing. This story is absolutely beautiful and i can’t get over it I highly recommend it.

This book is so good I didn't want to put it down. I loved how Azreal didn't like Bella, but they decided they needed to work together. I like how it was built up on how they worked their feelings out.

It’s always a good story when you have a badass FMC and a Vampire Prince involved.
This book is a really fast-paced read, full of kidnapping, spice, and blood.
The FMC is a powerful witch with a bad temper—I loved her! The MMC is a grumpy vampire with control issues (the type that we dark romance readers adore).

Interesting, fun read!! Azrael was of course my favorite part! I love an unhinged , feral man that is unapologetically a villain to the world, for his woman. The writing was underwhelming though, like how 20’somethings have a conversation— if that makes sense? The plot lines also felt like a “throw-up” of a bunch of ideas; but I guess that isn’t such a bag thing because again, it was a fun read!

This book has a little bit of almost all the tropes I’ve read in dark romance lately. What it may seem to lack for me in depth, it makes up for in the fast pace, easy to read style. Enjoyed the steamy scenes and Bella was a fun fmc to read.

Omg just read this and it's so good. If you like supernaturals like witches, vampires and demons I suggest this. About a witch who is running from her dad and gets rescued by a vampire. He hates her kind but they are mates.
