Falling for the Professor Book 2 of 2
The secret that brought them together could destroy everything.

Savanna Clark survived her first semester as Professor James Austin's graduate research assistant—and his secret girlfriend. Now, as she enters her final semester, the stakes are higher than ever. One slip could cost them both everything they've worked for.

James has never felt this way about anyone. The former wrestler turned criminology professor has finally found a woman who challenges him, thrills him, and makes him want things he never thought possible. But keeping their relationship hidden is becoming impossible, and the people from his past won't stay buried.

When long-held secrets surface and outside forces threaten to expose them, Savanna and James must decide what they're willing to sacrifice. As graduation looms and real life beckons, their forbidden romance faces its ultimate test.

Can love survive when the whole world is watching? Or will the truth tear them apart before they even have a chance to begin?

3.5, but 4 because of originality

So, one thing I love about reading kindle unlimited is because of indie authors. There’s something magical about seeing someone dare to put their art out knowing they will be judged. I am rating this book based on originality and growth.

This follow up has much better world building and depth and ya know, I never guessed this sezzy-time location but it actually works! I would suggest reading this in order, because it’s most definitely not a stand alone, and I would STRONGLY suggest the author revisit this series for a rewrite after a few years as published author and a solid editor under her belt. The author has been writing since she was young, but she hasn’t hit her potential. This coupling was definitely a scorcher.

Interesting

I really enjoyed both books I will say I do like age gap romances but savanna came off too immature & petulant to date an older man, there were times in the book when I wondered what James loved about her, she was flaky, childish, & constantly contradicted herself, like she was coming off unstable, definitely expected more maturity given her life experience & chosen profession, im not talking about when they were intimate, i mean all the times they weren't she was becoming annoying.

Another Great Book

This was yet another great book by Odyssey Lenoir. The lengths that James went to be with his “Angel” were beyond criminal. He let her know, when she tried breaking up with him, that she wasn’t going anywhere and they weren’t breaking up ever. He and Savannah proved that they had a love was meant to last and endure all.

Odessey Lenoir is that Girl!

She had me hooked from the beginning of book 1. I couldn’t put the book down. I was so glad that I didn’t have to wait for book 2 🙌🏽

James definitely gave off some 🚩, but if you like interracial romance where the man is all about this woman and jealous and you like it spicy. This book is for you.

I don’t think a second book was necessary. My first read from the author as well as introduction into bwwm trope. Didn’t scratch the itch for me.
