Nutmeg + Mistletoe

I’m not sure what I expected going in to this story but it was unexpectedly amazing! From the blurb on the back…Vegas Wedding drew me in…so I was dying to see how it’d happen! I thought I was getting a cute Christmas romance but it’s not that at all. It’s a beautiful double romance that had me grinning from ear to ear much of the book. Then as secrets built up I kept wondering if this would be when the secret was spilled. It kept me engaged. I couldn’t put it down!

I had been in a lil reading slump and while scrolling this book came across my feed. i started reading and couldn't stop. The spice was hot but not overly vulgar and written really well. I definitely want more of this series!

Nutmeg + Mistletoe was a nice addition to the BWE universe.

It was good to learn more about Grant's life and whew that daughter of his...Marlow was a trip at times. I was happy that they both met people that would change their perspectives on what's important in life and be willing to give up "control" for love.

This book was well written and I loved getting to know Eslin, Declan and the other members of the Strikers team. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

Nutmeg + Mistletoe is book one in the author’s Atlanta Strikers series and is a sports romance that holds a few surprises for Grant Mills and his daughter Marlow whose characters made appearances in a previous book.
For Marlow waking up in Vegas hungover and sporting a wedding ring with no husband in sight, well It must have been one heck of a night, if only she could remember it!
Grumpy Grant who isn’t looking for love spends a night with a woman who completely rocks his world, and who then ends up working for his pro soccer team.
Complications abound for both in a humorous blend of dramatics, romance, passion, family dynamics, personal vulnerabilities, secrets, and emotion set within a wonderfully written story, whose engaging characters light up the pages in what turns into an immersive and fine holiday read.

Thank goodness for algorithms & the gift of cyber chats🤭 🎁📖🤩‼️ A Thread reel for this book “Hook, Line & Star-Crossed (Atlanta Strikers Series)”, which was only the cover release 🤷🏾‍♀️….however was the perfect impetus to my 2026 literary goal of discovery/support of new Author’s, genres & or books. Meanwhile, a quick chat & book search led to this new (for me🤭) Author T.L. Martin & the fantabulous adventures of daughter/dad duo, Marlow & Grant Mills and their desire to be “chosen” in “Nutmeg & Mistletoe: A Billionaire Sports Holiday Romance (Atlanta Strikers Series)” - Book 1. “N & M…” was masterfully written, hilariously entertaining & yet emotionally relatable, endearing & profound 🥰‼️….”N&M…” is/was an absolute holiday🎄delight 👏🏿👏🏾👏🏽💞💐‼️

This is the perfect book to get cozy on the couch with your favorite blanket, a cup of cocoa, a fire roaring and a damn good playlist. The type of book to have your feet kicked up and your cheeks hot from blushing. The way these stories of love came together and also intertwined with each other was so unique and different. Loved it 🥰

THIS. BOOK. RIGHT. HERE!!!!!! It was soooo good. It was long, well-paced, characters well-developed. It was amazing. I felt like I was there every step of the way! It had all the feels. It was funny, spicy when it needed to be, loving, just downright amazing. I could read this over and over and will probably read this every Christmas. It was so heartwarming ♥️

I loved the book. It blended 2 connected story lines. I hope the supporting characters get their stories. Grant & Elsin give hope for second chance at love and love for the first time. Marlow & Declan too cute.
