Jessa's horniest book to date🤣🤣🤣🤣 This would not be a Jessa Kane book without the Daddy kink and tbh I admire her ability to include the daddy kink where it clearly doesn't belong 🤣

This is a novella, and everything basically happened in a span of two days, so don't expect too much, mmmkay? Okay. 😂

I’m a huge Jessa Kane fan, but this one fell short for me. You guys know I’ll read anything, and I won’t kink shame, but this one made my nose wrinkle a little. This is a teen fic + Daddy fic. I don’t usually give long reviews on short novellas, but here we are.
Eric ‘Colossal’ Von Hagen (18, virgin, Colossal hockey star) feels more like an ogre than a regular guy. At 6’6”, he towers over all of his classmates and has to order custom size jeans. It’s a regular day at school until he finds a Fairy Tale sitting at his desk.
Marlow (18, virgin, artist) has been homeschooled during her teen years, but now she’s been let out of the attic where her evil stepmother keeps her and girlfriend is ready for the “D”.
The two lovebirds are insta, which is awesome, we learn Marlow is a self-diagnosed cum slut, then there’s some breeding, and a HEA.
SEX: Our crazy virgins have some uncoordinated touching at 27%, some sloppy oral at 46%, and the final deed at 67%. I’m good with teen sex, it was just the Daddy thing + breeding that gave me pause. She’s calling him Daddy in a baby voice, and they actively try to get her pregnant during their first romp. He still lives with his mom and doesn’t have a job!!! In this situation, none of that made sense to me.
MISTAKES: Jessa’s books are notorious for having errors that could be fixed with just ONE proofread. The main thing in this one is Marlow’s stepsisters are talking about THEIR mom but keep saying “stepmother” by mistake. It’s just something annoying. When you write a short novella, there’s no excuse for mistakes like this.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t read it. I’m just saying JK has written much better than this.
I can see the love in her eyes when she looks at me, and I become an immortal warrior in that moment, seeding his woman. I become a confident and dominant version of who I was before, all because she looked at me and saw more.

DNF@ 27%. There were some cute moments like Eric nicknaming Marlow Fairy Tale but then there was also lines like this: “that's when I feel it. His hot, gluey come. As soon as it starts splashing and pooling on my belly, I know I've found my fixation. This fluid.. it represents his pleasure. His secrets. It's the sacred seed of life. And I'm the one who made it spurt out.”

Okay.. So this short 96 page novella is chock full of story.
A story that is equal parts heartbreaking and hot. I do not know how Ms. Kane puts full tales in such small boxes, but this is definitely her wheelhouse.
If there was such a genre, then this would be tagged as Raunchy YA Erotica. Apparently this is the ONLY type of YA (barely legal) stuff I'm down for reading.. Especially when the 18 years old MCs, are way more mature than their adult counterparts. I'm definitely loving that angle.
So, here is the sweet, erotically intense and down right heartbreaking tale of Marlow and Eric (aka Colossal) Don't worry they have an awesomely amazing HEA. But the abuse and neglect that Marlow has experienced at the hands of her stepmother and her coward a&& father, will have you seeing red. I wanted to beat them both bloody with a Morning Star Flail, then cut off their fingers and toes and put them in a blender and hit Puree.
But I loved the instant connection with Eric and Marlow. I love how protective he is with her and how loving and encouraging she is with him. Their story was great. I loved watching it unfold and spending time with them on their journey. These two are some dirty little birds though, let me tell ya!
They were making some very life altering choices here that normally I would not condone even for a seasoned adult. But given their set of circumstances in this story, and the connection they have, these choices felt organic and lasting. Their HEA proves that as well.. I do so love this story.
I wound up buying it after I completed it through KU.

However , HOWEVER the story.. was meh. The heroines backstory and their very teenage lust gave me a bit of ick and I’ve realized these young romances aren’t for me. I don’t know what to say but I skimmed it..

There’s a case of insta-lust between the MCs and they can’t get enough of each other. This is a novella so don’t expect length. But my expectations fell short nonetheless.

Short, insta-love, giant, and unconfident MMC, petite and strong willed FMC, both vir&ins, damsel in distress, romance.
Eric is huge, he always has been, and he is really self conscious, he is known as Colossal in school, and he is the ice hockey teams goalie. He has never been near a girl due to his lack of confidence and belief that no one would find him attractive.
In walks Marlow, petite, beautiful brunette, dressed in a short skirt, and thigh high stockings, and she makes it clear that she wants him.
But will his disbelief in her attraction ruin things before they can even begin. When Eric finds out the traumatic secrets that Marlow has been keeping, can he be her knight in shining armour?
I loved this novella! I think this might just be my favourite story in the Big Boys series, and I can't wait for more!

What a masterpiece of pure smut! I absolutely devoured this book from start to finish. Eric and Marlow were so lovable, even with how fast-paced their romance was. Their chemistry jumped off the page, and they were just so sweet together.
And the spice? Off. The. Charts.
It was a fabulous, quick read that gave me everything I wanted; heat, heart, and a couple I couldn’t help but root for. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, steamy escape!

I don't typically read high school romances, but for Jessa Kane I made an exception. And boy, oh boy was it worth it! I sure hope Jessa continues this series!! We need more please! 🥵 🥵
