About the author

Derek Prince (1915-2003), was an International Bible teacher and founder of Derek Prince Ministries International, wrote more than fifty books.
He was born in India of British parents. Educated as a scholar of Greek and Latin at Eton College and Cambridge University, England, he held a Fellowship in Ancient and Modern Philosophy at King’s College. He also studied Hebrew and Aramaic, at Cambridge University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His daily radio broadcast, Derek Prince Legacy Radio, still reaches listeners around the world.

Do you know God has a plan for your money? Yes your hard earned money? If He doesn't, then He doesn't control a greater part of your life. Because your money represent four things: time, talents, treasure and energy. In this book, Derek Prince helps us to know what Gods plan is when it comes to our finances. Lovely book, easy to read and understand and applicable as well.

Many people misquote the Apostle Paul in saying, "money is the root of all evil." Others grasp for it and pursue fame and fortune as if their very lives depended on it. The Bible has more to say about money than practically any other topic. Derek Prince systematically reviews biblical principles, explaining how money can be part of our worship to God, how our use of it expresses the condition of our hearts, principles of sowing and reaping and putting God first.

Not a large or difficult read, it is convicting. In his usual spirit of grace and humility, Derek Prince won't beat you over the head or lay a guilt trip on you. He lets the Word of God and His Holy Spirit gently convict you, so that you can make the changes necessary to be a true steward of God--amply provided for, but freely giving of the resources God gives you to manage for Him. Every follower of Christ should read this!

This book has suggested me very clear and precise guidelines of how to give for the Kingdom of God.
Giving myself to God as a living sacrifice first, then bringing the physical offerings at the altar.
I found myself out having sowing seeds in the gutter very impulsively and emotionally. The book teaches me how to find good and proper soils to sow in order me to reap abundantly.
If you have wrangling questions over offerings, or over your financial status, I will strongly recommend you read this book. It will give you "ah-ha".

Prince digs into some different scriptures and asks good questions for your consideration on handling finances from a Biblical perspective. Short chapters keep the topics focused and make for a quick read. Definitely recommend.

This book is meant for people who struggles with tithings, or people who would like to have a biblical overview on the subject matter. The author laid out all the relevant bible verses regarding tithing, addressed the biblical concept of tithings and offerings, and again and again assured his readers of the necessity of tithings and the blessings that come from it. The author had made straightforward and compelling reasons for tithings, and I believe his readers would be challenged to tithe willingly and expectantly, though I fear uncareful Christians would be motivated to do so with a wrong motive picked up from the arguments.
