As a long-time fan of the beautiful stories Scott pens and the series, I always look forward to revisiting these characters and seeing what trouble they can get into.
This installment of the Blue Fire Saga, like all the others, is beautifully written and poignant...it's just not my usual read, and it didn't suck me in quite as much as the others.
With that said, Relentless is a feel-good family saga of love and growth.
After six books, Leesa and Rave have finally found a way to have their happily ever after: each other and the family they've always wanted. And everything looks like it'll be great. Only, as we all know, family life is rarely easy.
While Relentless had the characters I've come to know and love, and it was really great to finally see Leesa and Rave together in a real romantic setting after hoping they'd somehow find a way for six books, this installment was without a few things that the other volumes always delivered: an antagonist and gut-churning conflict.
The only real antagonists in this is the couple's day-to-day happenings, which, while heartfelt, didn't have enough urgency for me personally. Merely learning how to survive in their new normal was enjoyable. Still, I missed the drive that usually makes their goals and motivations so relevant and satisfying when realized.
I most definitely recommend this book to long-time fans who have been clamoring to finally see Leesa and Rave's romance realized, but in all honesty, it wasn't my favorite.

Relentless adventure

We go on a totally different adventure with Leesa and Rave in this book. The adventure of life and marriage and parenthood. But we also get to see the other characters plus some new friends. Most excitedly, Dominic will return. There arent really dangerous fights in this book.

This series has been the first I've read from Mr. Prussing, and for a YA series I'm not disappointed. I felt that there were a few rushed elements, not just in this book but throughout the series, but over all fantastic development.

Great book ! My favorite so far in the series. Much less action sequences and more characters interaction. I love Leesa and Rave and this book is practically all about them!

It was great to see Leesa and Rave enjoying life together now that the Black Wizards and the Necromancer have been defeated.
Unfortunately because of the lack of enemies this book hadn't as much suspence in it as the previous books and I missed Cali's humor cause she didn't appear much in this book. But even with less suspence and humor it was still a great story and I really enjoyed it.

Wait, what?? This series was interesting at first, okay as it went on, and then a big fat WHAT THE HELL with this book as the ending. I am beyond disappointed. The entire series Rave and Leesa haven't been able to kiss unless supervised and then all of a sudden, no explanation or anything, they're able to do the dirty and get married and live alone together? Something doesn't add up. I almost didn't finish the book because I was so disgusted. You could have done better with this book, Mr. Prussing.

I was really disappointed with this book. It didn't really seem to have any focus or purpose. Very few redeeming qualities and a big let down.
