Alright either I'm reading too many of these or this one was actually good. A group of college football players end up at the local gay bathhouse after accepting a dare. They all have a wonderful time involving a sauna 69, hot tub bj and sharing one of them in a sex swing along with their new friend Hawk. Entertaining, smutty, and pretty funny honestly because none of these guys were really all that straight to begin with 😆
It’s the hottest, filthiest thing I’ve ever seen. If I weren’t rock-hard already, the atmosphere alone would get me there in seconds. “Wow,” I manage. “Yeah. Pretty amazing, right? Not many places where you can let loose like this.” “It’s like a fantasy come to life.”

Wow, I enjoyed this one.
There is an infamous bathhouse called Lumen. It’s not just a regular bathhouse according to rumors - it’s for gay men. Those rumors say there’s men walking around naked, fucking each other out in the open. No one that our 5 MC’s know have ever actually been there to confirm though. Until one day, they’re joking about it and their quiet freshman teammate (Micah) speaks up and tells them he HAS been there.
He places a bet with his four fellow teammates - they need to put up or shut up.
They need to actually go and see what Lumen is about in person (as a group) and whomever leaves first has to buy drinks for whomever lasts the longest for two months.
They all agree, bc of course they do, they’ve been challenged and they're athletes. Though, they’re not very happy about about it.
5 MC's:
Micah (POV) - Freshman, youngest, running back. 5'9", slender build, brown curls, and glasses. He's also secretly gay.
Toby (POV) - Sweet, Running back. Secretly curious about "Lumen" (men). Dark hair and green eyes.
Diesel - 6'4", blonde, tallest player on team. "ripped body and filthy mouth..." -Adam
Cole - 6'3", linebacker with brown eyes. Extremely competitive, easily offended, and a shit stirrer.
Omar - Team captain, natural leader, diffuses arguments, composed and controlled. Dark skin and a deep, calming voice.
Did a surprisingly good job at following the plot that was set up.
This was one of the more believable bi/gay awakenings. Of teammates that were probably already a little curious to begin with, various degrees, and are given the chance to explore that curiosity thanks to that bet set by their secretly gay teammate.
Also, not all 5 are open to exploring right away. It takes one of them until the very end. Which, I think works in favor of making this more believable as well.
Oh, there was a nice buildup to the main orgy.
I genuinely was enjoying the plot of the 4 older guys, and I really liked Micah and Hawk together.
The spice was hot ofc, though about what I was expecting.
Each sex scene felt like the perfect lead up to the main event.
Atp, I’ve just resigned myself to the fact I have to look past the lack of real prep, realism around the size a virgin can actually take. 9 inches for a first time, with minimal prep? And then 4 more guys after that? Okay, mhm. It's fine. The character loves it so it's fine. Definitely.
I think I would read a full length novel about them.
Including Hawk.

My only disappointment was that I wished it were longer and focused more on Toby and Micah's specific story.
Because the book is so short, I don't want to put too many details into this review, but just know I was intrigued and it was oddly good. Ok, I know. These books are really fun. AND YES> It was so much fun. It was spicy and delicious. It also was a bit sweet. I really enjoyed this book! It hit in perfect way- somewhere between spicy and playful with a touch of heart. I enjoyed it so much I went ahead and purchased it too! A perfect little 87 page pick me up between reads.

The sex was hot, but what made it stand out over generic group erotica for me was the authentic team dynamic between players. Maybe their wasn't very believable, but their character and relationship with each other were. Erotica requires some suspense of disbelief anchor in order to work, because if everything seems unrealistic it could turn ridiculous and OTT very fast.
