Love was never part of the plan. Neither was Grady Carter.
Willow Parks has spent years chasing the perfect shot, not the perfect guy. Covering the dirt track is supposed to be just another assignment—until she ends up in the orbit of Grady Carter. Hot-headed. Reckless. Every bit the cocky racer his last name promises.
Everyone compares him to his father. Everyone doubts he’ll ever be more than Creed Carter’s son. Everyone… except Willow. She sees more. And that’s exactly what scares her.
Because Grady doesn’t just want a chance on the track—he wants her. And once he decides something is his, he doesn’t let go.
Fast cars. Loud nights. One stolen kiss that turns into something neither of them can outrun. Willow swore she’d never risk her heart. But with Grady, walking away might be the one race she can’t win.
Don’t want to give a spoilers but as the cover shows there are none in this review either. If you love dirt track racing this book and previous 2 from this series are for you. Great read for track side or during the commercials while watching a race at home. A little romance and a different time of spice.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars No Lifting grabbed me from the first page and didn’t let go. Courtney Nugent has such a way of making you feel every emotion — the tension, the heartbreak, the fire. I couldn’t put it down. The characters felt real, the story was raw, and the ending hit exactly how it should. Another knockout read from her.
