DENT: A Man On A Mission

The room was quiet for several minutes after Dent or retiring Professor Dennis Denton told his best friend and the man replacing him, Jackson Brown, he was returning to Jacksonville. Jackson, finally asked, “Why…”
Dent who was a big guy at four inches over six feet and two hundred and forty pounds of dark chocolate intensity smiled slightly.
“Brother, the easy answer is it’s time. I left home at almost eighteen and never returned. My mom passed the year before and my father hadn’t yet claimed me. Deeper though is he left me a lot of what he called ‘hood property’ and it’s time to claim it. Mostly, my woman is there. She doesn’t know that or me yet but she will.” Dent said, his expression mysterious. Jackson shook his head.
“Man…never mind, forget it, you are always going to do you. I’ll miss you as will my family. You gave the bottom and this university thirty-five years, you deserve your heart’s desire. When?”
Dent shrugged and turned to stare out the window. Over the past year he he refurbished eight row houses that were now called condos. They were three story homes built in the 50s and 60s but were either abandoned or rented since the early 2000s. His dad hadn’t cared to do anything with them but Dent did. He was going to live in one he and his mom lived in and the others were homes funded by him. In addition to the block of homes, there were also warehouses and more than he imagined in money.

Dent can call me his Mission
Mission accomplished is what Dent was able to do. He retired from teaching and got his woman too. He reached his goal and reacted a new chapter with his true love. I loved this new series, I cannot wait to see what's next for this new tribe of characters.

Such Passion !!!!
Angelia Vernon Menchan writing spoke to my soul via this book. I need this change of pace and vibe this book brought. I almost do not have words to describe what I felt reading this story and how I’m still feeling. This book was comfort, attractive, soothing, vibrant, exhilarating, and all at the same time. Ev … yep Ev was the one and the men were stellar as well. Loved this book.

A GROWN love story!
I was pleasantly surprised to see this newest release and so happy about it!
This style of grown and sexy isn’t the most common these days… and BLACK! SO Black!!! I love it!
Adult characters with full lives and no needless drama! I really appreciated this book… although the author can turn it up a notch on the grown and sexy… with details!
Cant wait to read the next installment!

This author never disappoints! Thank you for a grownup storyline. I truly enjoyed reading the characters journeys. The relationships were so refreshing and authentic that I could just see this all played out in a movie.
