I thought I'd stop at nothing to get my key back. To get my wish to become human. But Ari turned everything upside down, and now I'd stop at nothing just to have him. I hate him, but I'm drawn to him.
It used to be just Briar and me in our mission to collect all the Janus keys so we could get our wish. Now, I want to know Arizell, Ari. Who came into our lives by accident, but I never want him to leave.
Meeting them was never my plan. Hiding my past was. No one was ever supposed to know who I am. But that's the problem with God's and magic and Pirates. Nothing is what it seems, and nothing stays hidden. I barely know Briar or Murrow, but I can't seem to get them out of my head.
4.5⭐ This is quickly becoming one of my must buy authors! This was the heartwarming ending to Briar, Murrow and Ari's story. Book 1 ended on a pretty brutal cliffhanger and we promptly get resolution there. This really focused a lot on Briar coming to terms with his feelings and learning a valuable life lesson. We do get a mostly satisfying ending, my biggest complaint is that I would have liked to experience a little more of the resolution. The characters made me fall in love and there was definitely a time or two where I was very hurt on one or the other characters behalf. Overall I think this was a good steamy, sweet little fantasy story that I would happily read again!
Part 1 left us drowning and this part quickly brings us back to the surface. Unfortunately there are still many challenges ahead.
I absolutely love Ari, Row and Briar. They definitely have their struggles but most of it is due to outside forces both known and unknown.
We do find out what happened to Row and Briar that led to the curse. These two men have been through so much and now all they want is to live a mortal life filled with love.
This is definitely a hard won happy ending but watching it unfold was beautiful. Knowing both sides stories really puts everything into perspective. I loved how this one ended.
Forgotten Secrets: Part 2 pulled me into a world I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I did. The mix of gods, magic, and pirates is wild in the best way, and the emotional pull between the characters kept me turning the pages. I loved the complicated tension, the hidden pasts, and the feeling that any secret could explode at any moment. Even though this isn’t my usual type of read, I found myself really invested in Ari, Briar, and Murrow, and now I actually want to go back and experience the first book. This duet definitely has a way of surprising you.
This was a magical and beautiful read. I loved all of the characters. The stutter was so well written. It just grabs you from the beginning, and the adventure keeps you turning the pages. I truly enjoy reading this. Every element was perfect. And just the right amount of spice. This is my first time reading these build by this author and I truly enjoyed them. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of the team.❤️
I really enjoyed how everything came together at the end of this story. Everyhting came together full circle and I loved it!! The connection and chemistry between Briar, Murrow, and Ari was felt through the words on the page. The spice was delicious in this book as well!! This book has everything you can ask for in a story!! Secrets, lies, action packed, and it will have you flipping them pages!!
Forgotten secrets is the continuation of Ari, Briar and Murrow's story.
We follow them as they make their way to the island so Briar and use the keys to get his wish. There is mystery, banter, love and spice in this book. It is a quick read, just like the first one.
I love the dynamic between the 3 main characters. I found the story to flow well.
What an epic conclusion to an amazing duet by A. Miri! I was genuinely on the edge of my seat for the entirety of this book. The spice was the perfect ratio to plot. Highly recommend you check out if you love MM romance with a twist!
This book picks up where Part 1 left off. I absolutely enjoyed this book, thr spice drama and secrets that keeps the story alive. This book kept me engaged throughout its entirety and I loved how it ended. I definitely encourage you to read it if you enjoy a good mm romance.
Ari, Briar and Murrow return in this spicy, emotional and dramatic read. We learn more about what happened to Briar and Murrow. A heartwarming story with fantastic characters and a great ending.
Forgotten Secrets: Part 2 sucked me right back into this wild, magical world—I barely looked up from my book until I finished. Gods, magic, pirates… it’s total chaos in the best possible way, and I swear my heart was pounding the whole time. And these characters? I care about them way too much.
The tension between Briar and Ari is off the charts. I love that their relationship is messy and complicated—it just feels so real. Every time they’re on the page together, I can practically feel the sparks (and the angst). There were moments I wanted to shake them both and just yell, “Figure it out already!” But honestly, that’s half the fun.
What really got me in this book was how the world-building just keeps getting deeper, and the emotional stakes are even higher. Secrets come out, loyalties get tested, and I never knew who to trust. There’s one twist I’m still thinking about—I did not see it coming.
Basically, I’m obsessed because I’m 100% not okay after that ending.
Ahoy! Murrow, Briar, and Ari are back. These three really tested my patience and the richness of my vocabulary as I read the continuation of their story. The road to their happy ending was filled with twists, challenges, and trials, thanks to the great plot that the author worked hard on. Briar is one incredible example for "I hate to love him" and "I love to hate him" kind of thunderous, fiery temperament that I couldn't resist while Murrow is like my favourite dessert - a hard shell with tasty gooey filling inside the same way as his flashy personality. Both Murrow and Briar are so different and yet, fit so well together. After millennium of sailing, countless adventures, years of searching the last key, finding Ari is like finding a powder keg. Passion, jealousy, possessiveness, unresolved issues from the past, mistrust and fear, all mixed together, ignited into uncontrollable wild fire. It kept me on my toes, gripping my reader the entire time, while I was cursing, laughing and groaning sometimes exasperated with their pigheadedness and stupid fights, sometimes really touched by the rare quiet, intimate moments. They definitely took their sweet time figuring out the obvious - that the three of them truly belonged together. The only thing I thought would have made the story even deeper, emotionally fuller ans more interesting is, if we got the chance of seeing more of the crew and the life on the board of the ship. The missing elements stole some of the found family vibe I otherwise felt were hinted throughout the development of the story.
