The year is 1858. The Brown Bear Clan faces its greatest terror yet.
A monster stalks their hunting grounds—swift, savage, and seemingly unstoppable. Chief Wornstone commands his son Littlestone to pursue it, while Lightwood is tasked with summoning a shaman whose knowledge may hold the key to survival. When White Eagle arrives, he reveals the hide, a sacred artifact depicting the Wulatgoi—the werewolf. Its markings tell of the only way the creature can be slain.
But a chilling prophecy shadows the every man will be hurt, and two will not survive.
I enjoyed this small novella. I read Sliver first but that didn't take away from either book. I love a good werewolf story and this novella didn't disappoint. The plot was well written and there was plenty of action and chills. The story line kept a wonderful pace and I was never bored. The identity of the skin walker was a pleasant surprise. Now I'm on to read book 3
