my last read of nov!!! the mmc pmo so much but like kinda redeemed himself ?? least fav in the series fs tho
i did like the single mom trope written in this and adam somehow becoming caring etc
𐙚⋆°。⋆♡ ── pre-read
the first and second book in this series were both so fun!!! i don't particularly care for adam (the mmc in this book) but .... single mom? yes pls!!! he did seem a bit interesting at the end of book 2, and im intrigued to see how he acts in this
Cassidy is looking to get back on her feet and excepts a job as a death doula for an elderly billionaire. The family isn't exactly thrilled especially the man she had a one night stand with 👀 Adam finds that he can't stop thinking about Cassidy and that night they shared. Tensions are high but man do Cassidy and Adam fit perfectly together. I absolutely loved their back and forth with romance novels. This story is emotional and had me tearing up quite a bit.
10/10 thank you keeperton and arndell for the gifted audiobook.
This one was a rollercoaster of emotions for me!! Adam has always been a womanizer, nothing was ever more important than his job. He was hard to get to know and even harder to care about, but when Cassidy came into his life, things started to change!
There were SO many reasons I loved this book the most out of the trilogy. Cassidy is a single mother who’s had a hard life. I connected with her character so easily because of her caring nature. I thought some aspects of her job was interested and found myself looking a lot of things up and learning for myself!
The spice in this book 😍😍😍 when I tell you this man reads spicy romance books to connect with Cassidy 🫠 and then TEXTS HER PAGE NUMBERS! Yes please! This man is something else. And then how perfect he is with her son? He won me over!
Yall just need to read this series! June Deborahae brought so much emotion into her narrating! I think he made me love the story so much more! And of course Sean Masters never disappoints!
Thank you to author and Arndell for the ALC of this book!! I’m thankful!
Thank you so much at Arndell for the ALC of this series.
I loved this trilogy so much. We meet our MMC in Adam in the first book and he is a cold hearted billionaire. In each book we see a little bit more of him and then we finally got his book. I loved Adam’s love story. Him and Cassidy are perfect. They meet during a one night stand and think they will never see each other again but it turns out Cassidy was hired to work for Adam’s grandfather.
Anna Penny is going to become an auto-buy author for me. She writes the most amazing love stories and really makes you connect with the characters.
Reading the past two books and learning a little about Adam in them I was so excited to read his story in Saving Soul. Adam is the classic gruff man who swears he'll never settle down. This is a favourite trope of mine. Seeing the man change everything he had planned for his life when he meets the one he was never looking for. Cassidy is such a likeable character. She's doing everything for her son and pushing through her struggles. I loved seeing her work so hard and learn that she can ask for help too, she doesn't need to do it all alone. Cassidy and Adam's connection was so intense, there was no denying it. Seeing them go from one night stand, to enemies, to friends, and then to lovers was everything I wanted from this book. I really enjoyed this last book in the series and rate it 4/5 stars. I recommend it to anyone who loves one night stand, opposites attract, and enemies to lovers romances.
OMG, I'm definitely going to bow down to Ann Penny if I ever met her in person. For the first time EVER, I actually LOVED and totally ATE UP every single book in an entire series. Like the whole Love, Beauty, & Soul trilogy got a solid 5-star from me and I couldn't believe how incredibly written each story was. *still in shock*
Saving Soul was the third and final installment in this series, which revolved around the older brother in the Harlow family, Adam Harlow, the ruthless and cold-hearted billionaire/businessman/womanizer/man-whore we knew all too well about, and the death doula (what a refreshing role), Cassidy Ryan, for his beloved gramps, William "Liam" Harlow II. In the last few weeks of Liam's life, Cassidy was hired to work in the Harlow Manor and prepare both Liam and his family for his upcoming cross-over. As she helped the Harlow family to embrace the inescapable, she secretly thawed the icy cage of Adam's heart...and vice versa. After losing her husband at 25, Cassidy also had her personal demon to face and who knew someone like Adam could be the key to making her feel all the flutter she thought had been buried long time ago?
This book was beyond beautiful, inside and out. I loved how the Harlow family didn't seem to be as terrible and unbearable as they had always been throughout the first two books, and that with Liam and his last wishes, plus the "hallucination" of his late wife, Cassidy and Adam's story brought me so much peace I hadn't found in contemporary romance novels in a while. In a nutshell, please go pick up this entire trilogy, guys!! I promise you will not be disappointed as the series only gets better and better with each couple's journey!
***Massive thanks to the author and Arndell again for the wonderful opportunity to read and listen to this book/series.***

The Audiobook narration was very well done.
𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅...
This book starts off hot and heavy (AP says it’s the spiciest of the trilogy) and it reeled me right in. I didn’t realize it was a trilogy at first but I’m don’t care about spoilers I’m here for the journey.
The characters in this book are amazing, authentic and well developed. I didn’t want to leave them.
I adored Adam & Cassie’s story. Adam was such a complex character so seeing his growth was very satisfying. Cassie was so patient yet still held firm on her personal boundaries, she had such strong female energy despite what life threw at her. I also loved how AP incorporated Reiki into the story without it overshadowing the entire plot. It was subtle and helped to further the story, set the tone and speak to Cassie’s personality and how in tune she is with those around her.
Aside from the MCs there were plenty of secondary characters who were just as amazing. The grandfather Liam was just the grandfather we all want, his personality was everything. I also adored Finn (Cassie’s son) because he added a whole new layer to the story. Not all authors can write a kid into a romance novel without making it annoying and Ann did such a great job with this. Finn really helped Adam to let his walls come down and be his most authentic self.
I really enjoyed learning about the world of death doulas this book.
I 𝑯𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑳𝒀 recommend this one and will def be going back to read books 1 & 2.
Jesus Christ, this book had me crying more times than I can count, but somehow it was almost always happy tears.
I honestly did not think this one was going to be for me at first. The FMC’s job as an end-of-life doula is not usually something I would gravitate toward in a romance, and I was worried it might be too heavy for my mood. But holy crap, this story was beautiful.
Cassidy was such a refreshing FMC, and I loved the way she fit into the Harlow family’s story. The emotional pieces of this book could have easily felt too sad or overwhelming, but instead they felt really heartfelt, comforting, and surprisingly hopeful. And her relationship with Liam was so cute.
Adam definitely annoyed me at times. Some of his reactions had me side-eyeing him hard, but I will give the man credit because he had a lot of growth. By the end, I really did understand him more, and I loved watching him soften.
This entire series is so underrated. I have loved every single one of them. The characters are complex and the romance is full of longing and heart.
Cassidy is a single mom who takes a job as a death doula in hopes of getting her life back on track. What she doesnt expect is her patient's grandson to end up being her impulsive one night stand.
Adam is a ruthless playboy billionaire and isn't prepared for the undeniable connection he has with Cassidy. His priorities shift as he starts to fall for the last person he planned for.
I think I found a new microtrope I need more of... When he reads her romance books 😏🤭🙂↕️
Single mom Billionare romance Opposites attract Workplace romance He reads her romance books 😏 Grief / healing
Re-release May 12, 2026. Thank you Arndell for the eARC
A HUGE thank you to Arndell for sending me this lovely trilogy to read and review for it’s rerelease! I absolutely loved all three and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to read them! Honestly, the beginning of this book scared me and I really thought I was going to hate it because of it, but everything was explained and then I ended up understanding the whole reasoning for it 👀 I loved getting to see the character growth, especially in this book in specific, and how the whole story played out! The grovelling was also impeccable, and I adored the writing and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more by this author 😍
This was a great heartfelt ending to an amazing series. This book was full of all of the human emotions. The narrators for the audiobook were also top tier.
Cassidy is a single mother that is hired to be an end of life doula for a billionaire family. She is determined to turn her life. Then in walks Adam Harlow a billionaire tycoon that is tough to deal with. He has a cold heart and a major attitude problem. Will sparks fly or simmer?
If you enjoy beautifully crafted billionaire romances, this is the book for you. Better yet, this whole Love, Beauty, and Soul series is for you. I really hated to see this series end. It was packed full of all of the emotions, and a true testament that love will always prevail.
4.5 ⭐️ Thank you to Netgalley and Keeperton for the ARC!
Cassidy accepts a job as a death doula for a wealthy family. Adam is the grandson of her patient, and also her mystery one night stand.
This was interesting and felt different than anything I've read in a while. I loved the way Adam interacts with Finn, Cassidy's son. Their relationship and feelings were magnetic and inevitable.
This is the third book in the series, but for the most part, I felt like it could be read as a standalone.
Tropes: Single mom Forced proximity Billionaire Reformed playboy
I really enjoyed the dual narration on this one. This was a very emotive story and one i thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to feel a great range of emotion when they read as this has heartbreak, love, lust, distaste and the wealth divide proving money means nothing without taking in the real things that matter in life. I listened to this thanks to a netgalley audio and loved it.
Saving Soul, book 3, features Adam Harlow, Grayson's brother and Cassidy Ryan, who has been hired as a death doula for Adam and Grayson's grandfather. This story was equal parts lovely and heartbreaking. Widowed mum trying to look after her family, rich man from a one night stand now your sort of boss.. so good.
Saving Soul is narrated by June Deborahae. I enjoyed the narrator but as an Aussie, the fake Australian accent was so bad 🙈 lucky it was only for parts when Josie spoke, not the whole book
The single parent trope will forever be one of my favourites!!
Seeing Adam (the man who swears he will never settle down) realise that work isn't all that there is to life was honestly lovely.
Watching Cassidy overcome her grief and realise that she doesn't have to do everything alone was amazing as well.
My favourite part of this book was Finn and Adam's relationship. The way they bonded immediately was so sweet. Adam always made sure Finn was included no matter what🫠
Thank you, Arndell and Ann Penny, for the ARC copy🩷
**ALC Review*** Saving Soul (Love, Beauty & Soul #3) by Ann Penny Release Date: 11/11/25 Narrated by June Deborahae & Sean Masters
Adam is a cutthroat businessman, trying to prove himself to his family. When his Grandfather Liam’s health declines, the family hires Cassidy, a "Death Doula", to help with his pain. Surprise! She & Adam recently had a life changing one night stand & now must coexist without crossing lines. Plus, Cassidy is keeping big secrets that are bound to come out and threaten the job that she desperately needs. I really liked this one! Adam is a changed man! I thought he'd be nearly irredeemable from reading the previous books, but he is actually so caring and sensitive.
I liked the female narrator's portrayal of the characters.
4.5⭐ 2.5🌶️
I was provided advanced copies of this series and this is my honest review. Thank you to Arndell Books and author Ann Penny for the ALCs!
Thank you to Arndell Books for providing me an early copy of this audiobook. All opinions are my own.
I fell in love with Grandpa back in Book 1, so when I saw the synopsis for this book, I just knew it was going to be a tearjerker, and I was definitely proven right. 😭 Definitely my favorite of the whole series!
Cassie has been hired by the Harlow family as a Death Doula for their beloved patriarch, Grandpa Liam. In order to get the job, she had to hide the fact that she has a son, and leave him behind with her father while helping care for Liam. But boy is she surprised to find out who Liam’s grandson is, after spending the best night ever with him in Chapter 1…🔥
I had no idea what a Death Doula was before reading this one, and if you’re not aware, they are a person who uses spiritual practices to aid in a person’s end-of-life processes. I’ve always been so in awe of the angels who work in hospice, and I really loved to see what Cassie was able to bring to Liam and his family during this time.
I also really felt for her being separated from her ten-year-old son, especially during the holidays, and unexpectedly got really emotional during some of those trying moments for her.
Adam was definitely a complex character, staring back in book 1, and I’ve been very excited to get to his story because of it, and it was everything I could have wanted and more.
There is just so much I loved about this one, including the characters (new AND old), the storyline, the dealing with grief and emotions, and pretty much just everything about it.
The perfect end to this series, just don’t forget to stock up on tissues. 🤧
Audiobook notes: June Deborahae was absolutely fantastic! Great voices, all the emotion, I just loved everything about her performance (including Josie’s accent! 🙌) HIGHLY recommend this audiobook!
What this book is giving: ✅ Contemporary Romance ✅ (Primarily) Single POV ✅ Death Doula ✅ Playboy ✅ Billionaire ✅ Widow ✅ Single Mom ✅ Grandpa 🥺
here comes another billionaire romance that i’m going to recommend to everyone i know because what an amazing conclusion to the love, beauty and soul series by ann penny 🩵💚
i want to start off by saying, i didn’t read book one but received book 2, finding beauty as an ARC and i really really loved it which pushed me to continue the series after meeting adam in melanie and scott’s second chance love story.
from book 2 alone i knew there was going to be more to adam as a reformed playboy and a grumpy eldest brother with so much responsibility on his shoulders.
the FMC’s story line of worth & struggles felt so unique and i really enjoyed seeing this single & widowed mother finally get her happy ending. i enjoyed that while the book starts off pretty spicy, the rest of the book felt like such a slow burn with banter and building emotional connection between the MC’s. i loved that the MC’s seemed to heal something in each other & enjoyed the nosy side characters even more meddling in their journey as a couple.
as a mom, i appreciated that we got to know the fmc separately from her child as i often feel like single mom tropes focus on how much women struggle alone as mothers and while that’s still the case, in this book her son is a little bit older than usual and we have the chance to see a mom who has hobbies & is trying to enjoy life to its fullest and isn’t in the thick of those early postpartum years. her struggles felt more focused around her grief of losing her husband and trying to provide a more stable environment financially for her son as a single parent rather than her needing help with the day to days of mothering.
i’ve already bought the first book in this series and can’t wait to go back and read greyson and josie’s love story!
What an incredible finale to this trilogy! This book was the perfect way to tie everything together, and I absolutely loved it.
Adam has come such a long way since book one. He might’ve started out as a bit of a womanizer, but the growth we get from him here is just beautiful. He’s broody, guarded, and keeps to himself… until Cassidy. And wow, Cassidy completely stole my heart. She’s a single mom doing everything she can to take care of her son after their world was turned upside down. Her strength and love just shine through every chapter.
This story was a rollercoaster of emotions! Heartfelt, spicy, and so full of healing and connection. Speaking of spice… THE SPICE. 🔥🔥 Adam reading spicy books and highlighting certain pages, then telling Cassidy to check it out….SIGN. ME. UP. The tension between these two was perfection. And when Cassidy flips it on him with her own page number?? Yeah… I was eating. that. up.
The audiobook narration was fantastic too! Sean Masters and June Deborahae did such an amazing job bringing all the emotion and chemistry to life.
If you love a good billionaire romance with heart, heat, and a full-circle ending, this trilogy is it. Start with Capturing Love, move to Finding Beauty, and finish with Saving Soul. You’ll fall for these characters just like I did. Easily one of my favorite romances of 2025. 🤍
E-books and audiobooks are out on November 11
Thank you at Ann Penny and Arndell books for the ARC and ALC
- (secret) single mom widow - billionaire - reformed playboy - forced proximity - one-night stand - 🌶️🌶️.5/5 - single pov
After a lifetime shaped by loss, Cassidy has devoted herself to becoming an end-of-life doula. Her newest client is Liam Harlow, Grayson and Adam's grandfather, who we meet in book one. What she doesn't expect is Adam being her first and only one-night stand a few weeks earlier.
Adam decides to spend more time with his grandfather, which creates plenty of forced proximity and slow-building tension, as Cassidy knows Adam is a playboy and she wants more.
She's also hiding her single-mom status, so you read with that little knot of anticipation, waiting for the moment it's revealed. When it is, Adam handles it with grace, and the bond he builds with Finn is genuinely sweet.
I have loved the messy, tangled emotions in the earlier books, but Cassidy and Adam go back and forth so many times that it starts to feel a bit draining. With such a long book, the repetition stands out, and Adam’s POV would have added the emotional depth needed to elevate the story.
Even so, the premise is fresh, and Cassidy’s role is fascinating. Reiki and energy work are woven into her character, giving the story a unique feel. And saying goodbye to Liam is heartbreaking.
So while this one isn't my top pick of the series, I still recommend the series as a whole if you enjoy complicated, messy love stories.
Wow! This book took a hold of me and didn’t let go! Such a beautiful, emotional ride of a story that just made me feel so many things! The audio for this was so well done & just brought the story, the characters, and their emotions to life. June Debrohae & Sean Masters did a fantastic job!!
This book had banter, spice, emotional depth, and some amazing characters that were just so lovable.
Cassidy is a single mom who has been dealt some heavy things in her life. She is looking to make a better future for her & her son & takes a job as a death doula. Adam is the grumpy, closed off Billionaire MMC, who is focused on nothing but his job. The chemistry between these two is so undeniable, but is doesn’t come without some struggles & a lot of angst!
This book is so beautifully done, filled with emotion, family drama, and so much character growth! The emotional depth in this one sucked me in and I was riding the waves of all these feelings. I related so closely to the grief & loss side of this book and parts had me in tears. The ride this took me on was one I’d happy take over again! The added spice was so delicious and just added something extra to the story!!
If you love a book that will put you through all the emotions and have you completely invested, I highly recommend picking this one up!!
Thank you Arndell & Keeperton for this early copy!!
Well this one started with a bang—literally 😏 Saving Soul had me in my feelings from page one. Out of the whole series, this one is my favorite. Cassidy is an end-of-life doula hired to care for Liam—Adam and Greyson’s grandfather—and I fell in love with that sweet man instantly. Every scene with him had me either smiling or fighting tears.
Cassidy’s a single mom doing everything she can to build a stable life for her son. So of course the universe throws her one wild, spicy night with a stranger. And THAT’S where things get messy in the best way.
Adam has been the cold, grumpy billionaire since book one, but Cassidy walks into his life and suddenly he’s a whole different man. Their chemistry and tension is delicious. But the way I wanted to shake him during parts of this book! 👊🏻
One thing I absolutely loved was how books become part of their connection. Cassidy escapes into romance novels, and the fact that Adam—Mr. Iceberg Billionaire himself—starts picking up the same books just to understand her better? Sending her page numbers and wanting to talk about the scenes? That was next-level swoony.
Cassidy and Adam’s story was everything I wanted—raw, messy, and hot enough to make me fan myself.
cassidy ryan is a single, grieving mother who’s trying to build a stable and secure life for her and her son, finn. she receives an offer to work as an end-of-life doula for liam, who is adam harlow’s grandfather. who is adam harlow?! a caring but cold-hearted billionaire who cassidy shared an intimate night with a fews before her first day on the job. cassidy will do anything to remain professional and keep boundaries within their limits, but with adam being around as often it becomes difficult for both ends.
even though i still have yet to read book one, i know that reading this book felt like all troubles were healed among all the characters of this series. the connection between cassidy and adam felt genuine and heartfelt. the way they both let their guard down made reading about them feel so warm. i adored the relationship adam gained with finn, as well as cassidy with liam. this was a nice way to end & i loved it!
ann penny has a way of writing and she has definitely become one of my auto-buy authors! thank you netgalley, keeperton, and ann for sending me this e-arc! <3
I loved Adam’s character when he was introduced in Book 1, Capturing Love. Saving Soul is his story, along with Cassidy’s. I adore Cassidy, who is an empath and sister to Josie’s friend, Amy. Now, in Book 3, I have learned that the angsty stories Author Ann Penny writes don’t just focus on the two characters, but they touch throughout the plot. What I’m saying is, Saving Soul made me cry. Other family members who had upset me in the earlier books evolved. And some made me sob. I thought Books 1 and 2 were angsty, but Book 3 was a doozy.
Cassidy’s character was quite refreshing, bringing sunshine into Adam’s life and his family. I love the Adam. The changes he underwent from Book 1 to this one were remarkable. The special things he did for Cassidy were out of his nature, and I loved that.
Thank you to Arndell and Author Ann Penny for the gifted copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
i listened to the audio of this, and it kept me engaged the whole way through!
adam and cassidy were cute together but i’m more of a slow burn girlie, and they tended to lean more towards instant attraction which made me unable to connect with them as much as i wanted to. the book also talked a lot about crystals and shaman/reiki stuff which i’m personally not a fan of. but if that’s your thing, then you’d probably love this one!!!!
read if you like — • single mother x reformed playboy • one night stand to lovers • forced proximity • grief & healing
thank you arndell for gifting me an alc in exchange for my honest review 🫶🏻
Saving Soul was such a satisfying and emotional finish to the series! I loved finally getting to watch Adam stumble his way into love — still a bit of a jerk about it, of course but that’s exactly what made seeing his growth so rewarding. And damn does he know his way around a spicy scenes 🥵😂
This book delivered so much closure for everyone. It tied together the threads of the series in a way that felt thoughtful and genuinely heartfelt. And Liam… I was so sad to see him go but his legacy was beautiful. By the end, it felt like every character had the chance to make amends, heal, and step forward.
A great read and an even better send off to a series I’ve truly enjoyed.
Like the first two books, there were tears shed, gasps and laugh out loud moments!
I was really hoping we would get Adam's love story, and this did not disappointment. Cass is a single mum who is working as a death doula for the Harlow family. After a one night stand, fate has brought Adam and Cass back together again.
This book was touching, heartfelt, emotional and a perfect end to this series 💕
You guys...I cannot put this series down! Dare I say that I have found myself a new autobuy author. This series is everything I didn't know I needed in my life and I'm forever obsessed with them! Adam was a character I was so intrigued by and I was blown away by this character arc.
What you'll get: - One night stand...revisted - She's there to take care of his dying grandfather - Single mom - Emotional - He's a billionaire
