Eldritch Humor: A Nat 1 Anthology

Rate this book
Nat 1 Publishing’s 2025 Halloween anthology

Laughter takes on a different shape in the dark. It echoes too long. It catches in the throat. It leaves you to wonder if you are amused—or only trying not to scream.

Eldritch Humor invites readers into that uneasy space between a chuckle and a scream. Twenty-three stories and poems turn the familiar inside summonings go tenderly wrong, the sea develops a sense of humor, and even death can’t resist making conversation. Here, horror wears the grin of recognition, and humor becomes a nervous reflex against what can’t be explained.

From writers both new and returning to Nat 1 Publishing, this anthology proves that madness and mirth make a frighteningly good pair and is perfect for fans of dark humor, Lovecraftian oddities, and Halloween stories with a twist of the ridiculous.

If you giggle into the abyss, it just might giggle back.

I have a story in here, so trying to be a good reviewer.

I loved this book. There are so many funny stories about the what kinds of eldritch humor.

If you like weird or surreal with a side of humor, this makes a great book.

My story, notwithstanding, there are some great tales here and you can read a little at a time.
