The Triangulum Fold

After an eighteen month hiatus, Edward Virr and the crew of the sentient starship Gabriel find themselves getting a little restless and craving a bit of adventure.

Admiral Bache Loftt comes to their rescue, with a relatively simple request, to check the status of one of his vessel’s. The oldest ship in the fleet, the Lytrotis, patrolling on the far side of the Milky Way has gone silent.

What they find on arrival, proves both shocking and extremely concerning. To unravel the truth, they are forced to exploit their previously discovered alien gateway to a galaxy almost three million light years away.

Someone, or something, is attempting to exterminate all biological life from an entire galaxy. Can Ed and the team overcome overwhelming odds and save the remaining pockets of human existence there?...before it moves on to other galaxies, most likely their own.

Author
For the benefit of my awesome fans across the pond, this novel is written in UK English and may include a few colloquialisms and spellings that you don’t recognise. There is, understandably considering the circumstances, a bit of swearing involved. We do swear a bit in England, just put it down to eccentricity, or maybe our spirited Anglo-Saxon heritage.
Another unusual trait of the Brits, is to use humour in stressful situations. Just ask anyone who’s been on active service with the British Armed Forces. It helps to keep one sane!
Now you’re all prepared, I hope you enjoy the stories.
Cheers for now

Nick Adams grew up in a small village near Maidstone in Kent, England and right from an early age was a fervent NASA, space and Apollo fan. After watching the first moon landing in 1969 and the subsequent moon missions that followed, he discovered science fiction books and cut his teeth reading Asimov, E. E. Doc Smith and Alan Dean Foster. In more recent times, Andy Weir and Peter F Hamilton to name but two, have joined them on the bookshelves.
After serving in the British Army for several years, Nick became a publican, managing and later owning his own village pubs for a number of years before moving to Brisbane in Australia where he began writing his own space opera, and the Fold series was born.
In late 2018 he returned to the UK, where the next adventures in the series evolved, along with the ‘Bache Loftt’ spin-off series.
Nick writes the kind of stories he would like to read. The Fold Series is set a little in the future and based around upcoming NASA technology. The series features normal everyday people put into extraordinary circumstances, with realistic reactions, humour and language. After all, nobody would say ‘oops’ if a 14km-long alien starship de-cloaked next to them.
Head over to his website to sign up to the Reader Group, and Nick will personally keep you up to date with his bi-monthly newsletters about what novels he’s currently reading, cover reveals, book launch dates and general progress on his current project.
Lastly, don't forget to leave a review if you enjoy the books. It only needs to be a few words and it helps spread the word about these exciting space opera stories.

Keep ‘em coming, Nick!

I love the Fold series. Read through them about as fast as ice cream melts on a summer day. The stories are FUNNY, EXCITING, and the plot twists UNEXPECTED. Can’t wait for the flavor of the next installment.
