Atlas Without Kitlyn, I am nothing but a lost, wounded animal roaming aimlessly, while howling in the night. When she was taken, a part of my soul left, leaving me shattered and broken. I will hunt down every single person who stole her from me, and they will pay dearly with their lives. They better run because the Devil is coming for them, and there is nowhere to hide.
Kitlyn, Me and my best friend have been taken by one of the largest human trafficking rings in the world. Our very existence is to please and serve on a whim. Will Atlas be able to save us before we are auctioned off to the highest bidder and disappear into oblivion? I need my Dark Knight more than ever
Okay, so before I begin. You have to know how obsessed with this series I am. I have been with this series and the author since the beginning. I was pulled in completely and have never looked back. Sorry not sorry. I am completely obsessed like I couldn’t breathe until the this next book came out. I love Atlas and Kitlyn. 😍
I absolutely loved this final book. Yes, it was way way darker than the first one was, but in truth, it was needed. You have to read the story to truly understand why I say this.
The things that Kit and her BFF Becca had to go through were horrific and no woman should ever have to deal with that kind of cruelty, but I have so much respect for them. They were strong and they did what they had to do to survive. I bow my head in absolute respect to these two FMC's.
Atlas, what can I say, he is a bad MF. If you read book one then you know what I mean, but once you read this second and final book you will truly understood who he really is and just exactly what he will do for the woman he loves.
He was a villain in the first book and he captured my heart right away. Now he is a hero in this book, but villain style. Because let's face it, Atlas is a cold-hearted man, but for his family, close friends, and his Kitten? Well let's just say he would burn everyone and then some to get to them.
He is a fierce lover and yet for his kitten, he is just everything she needed and more.
Kitlyn and Atlas's love story definitely has dark elements, but they were meant to be.
I will hold this series close to my heart and will never stop loving it. I definitely recommend reading it, because it is definitely a reread for me any day.
Book Review: Hunting My Obsession – A Dark Romance 🖤🔥
Y’ALL!!! 😮🔥 When I say this book had me in a serious chokehold, I mean it! From the very first page to the very last, Hunting My Obsession completely consumed me. It was absolutely breathtaking 📖💥
This book isn’t just dark and smutty 😏🔥—it’s real, raw, and emotional. The intensity was so deep that you could feel the pain, the struggle, and the darkness the characters endured 💔🖤, and I loved every second of it. That emotional depth made everything hit so much harder.
The character growth across the board was phenomenal 🌱✨. Every character felt layered and intentional. The banter? Perfect 😈💬. The dark elements? Undeniably there 🕯️. And the smut? DELIVERED 🥵🔥—without ever taking away from the story itself.
The plot was absolutely outstanding 🤯👏. I was completely blown away. It’s crazy how much a book can make you feel, and this one did it effortlessly. The writing was powerful, immersive, and had me thinking about it long after I closed the book 🧠📚
Thank you so much, D.M., for the opportunity to read this incredible story 🙏❤️ Please, read the trigger warnings before diving in ⚠️—this book is DARK 🖤—but if you love intense, emotional dark romance, this is a must-read. @D.M.Hunt Author ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When reading the Unhinged Series, please, please, please, for your safety and mental health; read the trigger warnings.
This book went darker than the first and has a lot of details too. Hunting my Obsession shows how deprived people can be, there is more blood, violence and death; there was no mercy. How Atlas almost lost himself and how Jacob helped him stay in control; they were total badasses. Then you have Becca and Kitlyn forming a bond with Layla during something so traumatic, how they held themselves together, survived, then lived and took their lives back in the end, it was amazingly beautiful to see.
I am honored to have been an ARC reader and I am in love with D. M. Hunt's work and can't wait to see what she writes next.
Well, I truly loved the first book in this duet. But this second book blew me the hell away. I kept thinking to myself, I don’t know how the second book could be any better and then it grabbed me and kept me in a choke hold the entire book. This author has a way with description that makes you feel as though you are right there. It was darker than the first book, gut wrenching, brutal, real and so raw. It was an emotional rollercoaster. It had me crying, laughing, almost nauseous at times and cheering on some situations. The characters were so well written with their emotions, banter, sacrifices and life choices they made. I would love to read this duet all over again for the first time. I can’t give it enough stars. It was a Chef’s Kiss!!!
This book was quite hard for me to read. I read the first chapter then skipped to the night of the ball and read all the way to the end. I am an HSP. HSP’s have a lot of qualities that an empath has so it really felt heart-wrenching knowing there are women out there being trafficked every day. After I read the ending and knew for sure the bad guys got what was coming to them, then I was able to start at the beginning again and read straight through. While it was a tough read, it was very well written. The characters are well rounded and the plot amazing! If you like dark romance you will love this book—this series!
This next chapter book 2 had me on the edge, absolutely could not put it down. You felt every emotion, pure unfiltered , freaking Rollercoaster, the twist n turn in this book had my jaw on the floor hungry for the next chapter . Be warned this book go deep, so ur emotion will be all over the place . Absolutely must read. I loved reading both books 1 and 2 and happy they had their happy ending
Oh my …. This was phenomenal. Read your triggers. This is a pitch black romance. I felt all the emotions in this book. The fmc goes through more than ever thought possible and comes out stronger in the end. Please go in cautiously. You have been warned. For those like minded folks, this will be the ride of your life. 100% worth picking up. I promise you won’t want to go away wanting more. The ending was perfect, it wasn’t rushed at all. What an amazing writer she is.

What a ride. This is the sequel to Unhinged Obsession. The story was full of action, dark themes and I loved it. This book pulls your emotions. Read the triggers in the front of the book. This story brings you on a roller coaster ride, in a good way. If you like dark, unhinged, extremely morally gray novels….the Unhinged series has it all.
I was nervous at first with the first book. I ended up loving it....fast forward to book 2 and I loved it even more. It had some intense moments where my heart bleed for these girls. But let me tell you this book was definitely had me interested til the end. You really do fall in love with Atlas.
YES!!!!!! This is what we bookies are talking about!!!
Dark, crazy, hot guy!!!!!!! Sexy as hell!!!!! And of course loads of bank!!!! What's not to love?????? Then book 2 search and rescue and bad guys get torched!!! Great series! Will definitely read more from D.M Hunt
Book #1 had me grasped in a web of wow. But this book right here, had it all, it had so much action, depravity, spicy, overall I definitely recommend the reader to acknowledge the trigger warning page. This book was wonderfully twisted amazing read!
Book 2 delivers a fast pace story that comcludes the plot. A lot of shit goes down in this book. Mind your triggers it is open door and graphic viloence. The story picks up when MFC was taken and the MMC begins a long journiful hunt to find her. The auther delivered this story with perfection.
This book is crack. its just as addictive as the first one if not more. I felt like I needed a shower cause I felt grimy and maybe some therapy. please check the trigger warnings because it can be a lot.
