The story continues as Gwynne is torn between joy and conflict, war and love.

I recommend only reading as a box set if you plan on reading these are all little novellas with cliffhangers and the end of everyone. I frankly did not like the ending with the children it left only unanswered questions and I felt as though I read this entire series and it’s not even finished. Many plot gaps and changes as to actual characters was less then desirable. I can only guess maybe this is authors first set of novella. Great potential however many errors in grammar, plot, characters development and so many issues however there is some potential with author. My biggest complaint no actual ending in this series unanswered questions too many in fact and selling each novella separately is major turnoff. The series is even complete. I wouldn’t recommend however may in future try author again if indeed this is a new author starting out. Disappointing

I was gifted this book by Author Carina Wilder for an honest review.
I love how this story is progressing, with her pregnancy Gwynne is over protective and feels the need to put a stop to her evil father The Drake who is causing havoc on the village. Things don't turn out as she thought they would upon seeing him, but Lord Drake has quite a surprise in store!
Lachlan and Rauth are very worried now that Gwynne is in Labor, they may lose their mate, she is having twins and the children are fighting for dominance as to who will be first.
The Lady travels in time to fetch a doctor friend to help Gwynne, she needs a transfusion. The human blood is no problem, but she needs Drako blood and there is no way they will get it from a father that wants his daughter dead.. There is only one other, her mother whom they think dead. But she is not dead, who is she and will she show herself now that her daughter needs her??
But now the children are in dange, will they be able to save them?
This story gets much more intriguing, there is much happiness and sadness. Lots of magic and passion also. I am eager to read what happens next.

Oh Gwen, how did things get out of control so quickly? There was times of joy and peace but now it seems that everything is coming down to your due date, whenever that might be. Are these two Alpha's going to work things out? What does it mean to be Queen, and how are you personally going to fill that role? Sometimes I just want to turn dragon lady on Rauth, and while I love Lachlan sometimes it's nice to see him with an attitude instead of always gentle. So right about the Lady from the Sea - love these twists! I thought Trial by Fire was my favorite in this serial, but I've changed my mind. These books get better and better! There's something big still coming, and all I have to say is you never stand between a mother and her children, much less a woman like Gwen. I'm already laughing thinking about how she's going to kick ass. Yes, I should feel bad cause I know she's going to probably kill someone and she'll feel bad, but really I just cannot seem to - after all they brought this on themselves. Just don't lose you human side!

This episode in the Sought by the Alphas saga is a continuation of superb intrigue. The main characters have dealt with time-travel, trials, mystery, drama, fated mates, multiple types of shape shifters, really knee buckling sex, life-and-death situations, and then it starts all over again! There are two old sayings that come to mind when thinking about Gwynne’s life – what can go wrong, will go wrong & hardship will only make you stronger. This heroine has more than her share of both, and takes us all along for the ride.
This author makes you ‘feel’ the emotions of her characters and has you rooting for their happiness. Just when you think things are finally going to go right and edge toward a HEA, another wrench is thrown into the mix.
I can’t wait to read the last episode in the serial – Dragon Queen: Sought by the Alphas Book 5!!

I recieved an arc from the author for an honesr review.
Its no secret that until now i hadn't fully enjoyed the series but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn Carina you know how to bring a reader around!!!!
Mind blowing,full of hot scenes and action and of course some awesome twists and turns in the story!
I find amazing how Gwynne turns so dynamic and so over bearing!
I still believe Rauth is an a@@ sometimes.
And i will always love Lachlan!
(yea yea i know but its a girl thing!)

This is a review for Rituals, Trial by fire, Kinship and Dragon queen. These are parts 2-5 in the sought by the alphas serial. I did like the idea behind this I just did not like Rauth. He was a complete jerk for all of the series. He just did not have many redeeming qualities. I am not sure if it was the writing style or what but just did not love it. I just finished them because I could read them for free via Amazon Unlimited (totally worth it by the way) and I wanted to know what happened. Thinking back there is one thing that I think the author should have incorporated. I really would have liked the trio to have some kind of mating mark or something. I mean if you are going to call their joining a "Ritual" I think they need some kind of mating mark.

The series keep on getting better Gwynne has a lot on her plate the constant bickering between her mate the tension is unbearable on top of that she's pregnant and with the stress of not knowing how the pregnancy is going to turn out she has to deal with dad causing mayhem on her castle and in the village. She tried to do the reasonable thing and go talk to the person who's never been part of her life but that turned sour. secrets from the past is uncovered then tragedy hits and before long the book is over. I'm looking forward to see what's going to happen next all the suspense is killing me

She outsmarts him for the moment, but she knows he'll be back. This book is sexy, exciting, has drama, and even answers some questions that we all needed to know, especially Gwynne. Again, another great episode in this serial. Gwynne is pregnant, and no one has any idea when she will give birth. Meanwhile, he father continues to be an obstacle with his attacks on the castle, village, and assassination attempts. Her mates have withdrawn from her not knowing if she will survive, and they must work together for their own sakes as well as for the betterment of their kingdom. Each part leaves you wanting more!

Book 4 in the Sought by the Alphas. These are stand alone books but I recommend reading them in order to follow the story line. Gwenny is expecting and no one knows why is going to happen. Lachlan and Rauth and worried and do not know what to do to help. This story answers many questions from book 1-3. I could not but he book down it had me hooked from the beginning. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

The conflict continues, both on the castle and between the mates. Gwynne is a strong cwen who tries to hold them all together. Lachlan and Rauth have their own thoughts as to how things should go. Add in meddling parents and see what happens. Once I started reading I could not stop. I had to find out what was going to happen next.

Bravo Carina Wilder! Way to go with this book. I want to give away so many spoilers, BUT I won't! Lol. This book was really a great read! I'm glad that Gwynne finally met her father and I guessed who her mother was. I just love this series and I'm sure others will also. Can't wait to read book 5.
