A good overall history of London's King's Road in Chelsea. The mixture of boutiques, fashion, rock n' roll, writing, and various iconic plays of the period basically the 50's through the 70's) makes this a great book to read before coming to London. Décharné who wrote for MOJO has a good grasp on pop culture and all the little streets that lead to King's Road. Hopefully within a couple of days I am going to take this book with me on King's Road and track down various addresses, for instance Keith and Anita's little pad...
