Silver Bow is finished and finally underway to start its journey as a freighter, and although Charlie is initially in a good mood, his demeanor sours and gets worse. Eri tries to get to the bottom of it, but he continues to push her and the rest of the crew away.

Ash and Francis begin to feel drawn to each other, but Francis’ feelings towards his estranged wife continue to keep him away from the security officer, and Kai is unfortunately often caught in the middle.

While the crew begin to work jobs, something brews in the Federation. Tristan, Charlie’s brother in the FIA, has developed a plan to capture Charlie. He has developed a team to do it, and it may have something to do with what Charlie finds on a derelict ship out in deep space.

Medina’s Back was such an awesome ride! This book totally delivered for fans of the Silver Bow crew, especially if you love Charlie as much as I do. Getting to dig into his backstory and seeing what makes him tick was super satisfying. You really get to understand the events that shaped him, and honestly, it made me root for him even more.There were some wild, intense moments throughout the story, I couldn’t stop reading because I had to know how things would work out. The ending? Just wow. Coffman knows how to leave you desperate for the next chapter, and I'm counting down to see what's next for the crew.If you’re already hooked on this series, Medina’s Back is a must-read. Charlie fans will be especially happy, and the twists kept me on edge the whole time. Loved it!

Ahhhhh!!!! I think I loved this one even more than the first one… and YES I’m even more in love with Charlie! I absolutely loved that this book showed us more about him and his past. I truly feel like I can connect with each of the main characters. The book was full of action and surprises and absolutely kept my attention and I did not want to put the book down (hence me writing a 1 a.m. review)!

My only complaint: I NEED BOOK THREE!!! Like NOW!!!

Medina's Back was the prefect follow-up to Silver Bow's Tab. The pacing was near perfect and kept me hooked with every sub-plot that was developing. Now that the characters are establihed, we are getting more of their history and flaws and some very tragic pasts. Everyone carries trauma, and Medina's Back was a journey of how each one of us bears that burden differently.
