Good read!

When Emmeline's parent’s whisked her off to Scotland she had no idea it was to marry the Marquess of Worthington, a cold, hard man. Her heart already belonged to someone else and she was heartbroken. When he was killed in a fire she was relieved and returned to her childhood home. When she saw Michael, the love of her life, he treated her with cold anger. She knew she deserved it, leaving without a word. Then the real trouble began. Good book with many surprises. Definitely worth reading.

A tense ride

Took forever for all the pieces to come together,--villains, a dead husband who wasn't, a crime wave, and stupid society rules that make people marry for money and position, finally putting things to rights in the end.

well developed story

An interesting and well written story that envelops you in the heartache and love. As the story progresses, the characters are developed and you start to really care about how the story will end. A fun read.
