Another excellent read in this series. If you want learn what firefighters go through on the job this is another one of the must read. Written in a novel format it is an easy read. I have read all the books in the series and this is probably my favorite. I grew up in Boston and are familiar with all the locations cited which make all these books much more interesting. I was pleasantly surprised in this volume to see a glowing reference to the school I graduated from, the famed Boston Latin School. I was in the graduating class of 1959. I can't wait to see to see what surprises I can find in the nest volume. Truly enjoying this series.

This was boring as hell. I don't think it had a clear plotline happening. It's more like a written reality show that follows a Lieutenant around for a while. However, you learn a whole lot about firefighting so I had to give it three.
